A true expression of all the elements that make the Russian River Valley unique, our STRATA Pinot Noir begins with aromas of roasted cherry, raspberry and fig. The palate is deep and savory, with flavors of dark cherry, black olive and dried cranberry. Notes of cedar and baking spices complement the fruit flavors for an incredibly unforgettable wine with velvety tannins and a pleasing finish.
Pinot Noir, Bow Tie Vineyard, Russian River Valley, 2013
This wine is 100% Pinot Noir from our Bow Tie Vineyard. This gentle-sloping vineyard advantageously situated above the Russian River is ideal for growing rich, concentrated Pinot Noir, and our 2013 Bow Tie is characterized by intense floral, ripe blackberry and sage aromas. The palate delivers rich character, smooth texture and notes of cedar and dark chocolate on a long finish.
Pinot Noir, Canfield Vineyard, Russian River Valley, 2014
Our 2014 Canfield Vineyard Pinot Noir is an expression of the Canfield Vineyard located in the southern tip of the Russian River Valley. Cold, windy and close to the coast, the Pinot Noir from this vineyard begins with aromas of boysenberry, humidor, leather and dried rose petal. The palate has a savory characteristic with a crisp inherent acidity and flavors of candied fruit, bright cherry with a floral tone. The complementary fruit and floral qualities of this wine offer a silky, age worthy Pinot Noir representative of the site
Pinot Noir, Robert Thomas Vineyard, Russian River Valley, 2014
An intensely deep ruby color fills the glass as alluring aromatics of cherry, plum, licorice and dusty rose escape from the glass. We did two different tastings, one all pinots and another red and white selection, in the JLounge and really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the great wine! We would highly recommend this tasting experience and will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area. The staff was very knowledgeable and informative and let us enjoy all the wines at our own pace. Beautiful views of the grounds from the tasting room and nice quiet atmosphere. So good, we joined the wine club!

We enjoyed the reserved wine tasting room at J Winery. We shared a pinot tasting and a sparkling wine tasting. The wine is good, if a little over priced. The room is beautiful and comfortable. Worth the drive.

My words cannot do this experience justice. Suffice it to say it is one of the most enjoyable stops on our wine adventure holidays. Traveling from the east coast, we are limited to only 5 days non-travel time to visit all of our long time favorites as well as new discoveries. We discovered J wines many years ago but his was our second visit to the new tasting room. This time we brought friends who are new to wine country. It was so delighted to watch their reactions to the wines, the food pairings and the ambiance. Our experiences here have ensured that J be a "must stop" on every visit to wine country. Also love the efficient online reservation ability.....great job! Highly recommend.

This was not a restaurant but a wine tasting room in a lovely dining room. If you are going to the area to not only wine taste, but visit with friends this is a great place. We did have the option to order a food plate but declined. We spent almost 2 hours visiting and getting an education with our tastes.

Our experience at J Vinyards exceeded all our expectations. It is a beautiful setting for tasting excellent wines that were thoughtfully and expertly presented with pairings of delightful cheeses and breads. The staff was both informative and hospitable, making us feel very pampered.

This was the second time my husband and I ventured to J winery for a tasting. Their sparkling wine is excellent as is their Chardonnay and Pino Noir. The cheese plate we got to accompany the wine was one of the best we've had! Definitey worth checking this place out.
