Haven’t been here for a few months. Everything has gone downhill. Food was good, not great. Service was bad. Everything took forever. Server had no sense of what was going on and was very disinterested in what was going on. No apologies for food taking more than 30 minutes to arrive and it was a chicken sandwich and a grilled romaine salad.

Love trying new food places when traveling! The Leaf has jumped to the top 5 in my book! It is a well loved community hotspot so I recommend reservations! The food is outstanding and the wait staff works hard to make sure everyone has everything they need!

Both ordered burgers. Both medium. One was great, one was raw. Truffle burger and fries had NO truffles. The burger that was done right had the wrong cheese. Then cheesecake was frozen, couldn't even eat it. For almost $100 (counting the tip), you would think 2 burgers could be right. Might be a while till I talk my husband into going back.

Went to enjoy a nice birthday dinner with my family. The food was good, service was great, but I want to talk about the music. They had a guy in singing, was a good singer however it was just to loud for the space. Would have been great outside but inside you couldn’t even talk to the person sitting right next to you.

We were seated promptly and ordered. I requested a grilled cheese minus tomato. It arrived and was slathered with a very strong vinaigrette which tasted mustardy to me. Since I don’t like mustard when the waitress came to check I indicated that it tasted like mustard and that was a problem for me. Her reaction was to back up the menu, deny any presence of mustard, and she was very snippy about it as well. She did not offer to take it back, re-make it or have me order an alternative item. After that we were in Siberia, and no refills on water, coffee, etc.. were offered until we were almost ready to leave. She did return and offer me a box for my sandwich, again in a hostile tone of voice, which I declined. Finally, she discounted us $6 on our check, so we paid over$8 for my coffee and french fries. I know that food service is a difficult job, because I did it all through high school and college. We were trained to immediately take food back to the kitchen and try to satisfy the customer if possible. Needless to say, we will not be returning to The Leaf.

The Leaf is a very modern and upscale dining experience. Good quality food comes with a higher price tag but well worth it! Service on any given day is very good for the most part...there are those days when you get less than what you'd like. Overall, very nice and enjoyable!

The food was ok. I’ve been wanting to try to chicken and waffles as I’ve heard many raves…I was underwhelmed. I’d liked to have had the chicken not so thick. The sauce was Spivey and I wasn’t expecting that. As far as ambience- the deep fry smell overtakes the restaurant. I was very surprised (having been in previous establishment) the kitchen/grill hadn’t been totally separated into a different room (walls built).

Normally we love this restaurant. But yesterday's food quality was extremely poor. I paid $60 for a steak that was literally burnt on one side and barely cooked on the other. My fiance had the risotto and it was watery in the vegetables were overcooked. Normally this would be something I would complain about but the staff was extremely busy and our server didn't check it on us.

I love to support local vendors. The community here is especially brilliant. The service was great and the food made with love. I genuinely believe that the cooks hold their craft at a high regard. Upon our last adventure here, and viewing the cook overlooking us at the table, with a soft smile, I knew upon viewing the beautifully plated dish, it was bound to taste excellent. I wasn’t surprised. I had to make sure to go again and introduce my friends to The Leaf. We were all very happy with the service, quality of food, and the overall ambiance of The Leaf. I’m forever a customer and will hopefully be back again soon!

This is our favorite place in Wooster to eat! The menu is amazing! Every thing we have had there is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! Sam is the best bar tender and the whole staff is very attentive!

Had reservation at 630p. I am a big guy. Hostess tried to seat us at a booth and we explained that would not work we were told that's all the had. On our way to the door I inquired about a open table that seated 4. Hostesses responde was " I guess we can do that". Waited over 45 minutes for food after ordering. Food was tasty. But overall not a good dining experience.

The food and the service were fantastic! We sat at a high top because there were a number of people in our party. My one and only complaint is that the chairs were phenomenally uncomfortable. At one point or another, each of us mentioned how uncomfortable the chairs were. The rest of the experience was SUPERIOR. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, especially Zoey at the front door. And the food was brilliant.

The Leaf is a great downtown restaurant with breakfast and brunch as well as dinner. It’s such a creative option for breakfast as compared to a traditional morning venue! In addition to a creative menu, the dishes are always delicious. The servers are pleasant and helpful.

We’d had this reservation for about 6 weeks before we were to dine, since it’s a holiday and reservations are hard to come by on any given time at Leaf. We were informed a week prior that they’re closed on the day of our reservation. They’d forgotten to take that day off of their system. Very poor form. Plus, we kept getting ‘pinged’ reminding us of the reservation after that! Poorer form.
