Great service and food! One of my favorite restaurants, close to downtown, inside and outside dining options.
Always enjoy brunch at the Lauber. While the weather was cold and rainy, preventing us from sitting outside, it was a great place to celebrate Mother's Day with mom and my wife.
Always a great time. The menu is focused on things that go well together, and they do them all well.
It's one of our few top go-to places.
Our first time visiting. Server was very attentive. Our table was ready when promised. Food was great.
Awesome place! Great upcycled property. Amazing green goat pizza!
The music was so loud that we could not have a conversation at our table, communication with the waiter was very difficult. The large garage style doors were open next to our table which created a wind tunnel like environment with our napkins and such flying off the table. The staff came over to close the blinds and when the wind blew the blinds almost hit my daughter and the staff were swearing loudly as the wind was so powerful it was difficult to secure the blinds. She heard all of it and she is 9 years old. It took half an hour to get our bill when we were finished. We were out celebrating my birthday and it was a very unfortunate experience.
Great service but limited menu and a bit pricey relative to other comparable spots in the area. Very good beer list and pizza.
Lunch with girlfriends! Power salad is fantastic!!
Really enjoyed the patio on a sunny evening. The food was good, too!
The food was delicious, especially the dippity dough da appetizer with beer cheese and the beet salad with blackened salmon. Also, really enjoyed the no-jito...lightly sweet and perfectly fizzy. Would definitely order again. Our waiter was wonderful, as well.
Loved everything about our experience at the Lauber- drink was super tasty, beer was a new one for me, and the blueberry pulled pork pizza was spectacular! I will definitely be back!
Great service and food! Recommended!
Just love The Lauber. Food is always good. Staff is excellent, helpful, social but not too instrusive. Wish they'd add a few more things to the menu since we go there so much!!!
Had a nice outdoor dining experience. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Angel, our server, very enthusiastic and fun. Good, casual dining.
Great meal and service. We’ve been coming to Lauber for a while and enjoy each visit. Pizza’s are great and rotating beers are always a treat. Service is always attentive and there is a great ambiance. Definitely a top place in downtown South Bend area.
Food delicious. Service great. Commercial-Industrial interior so expect it to be loud as noise echoes.
The Lauber is consistently excellent! We love their pizza, especially the pesto one. The power salad is amazing. I enjoyed the rigatoni chicken but it is really hot spicy (and I love spicy). The wait staff is fantastic - great beer recommendations, always pleasant. Sooo glad they have started to take reservations!!! We will be back again and again !!
The atmosphere was great, but the menu was really carb-heavy, which doesn't work well for type 2 diabetics. They were relatively busy, and seemed short-staffed. Out server was bartending as well, so they were stretched pretty thin.
I would try The Lauber again, when the patio opens.
