   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lauber Restaurant, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. The food at Lauber is simply outstanding.    We shared the Beet salad. It was excellent two kinds of beets, goat cheese, mandarin oranges, lettuce and pistachios. Topped off with poppy seed dressing. We the had the Butcher Town pizza. It was also delicious. We really enjoyed the food and our waiter Tony was great too.

   Group of four and we all ordered something different and shared it was fabulous! Great taste with some unique ingredients will come back again to tryout different items on the menu. Just one small problem with the noise because of the higher ceilings.

   We had a surprise party of ten for my son’s 21st birthday. Everyone raves about their food and drinks!! They even allowed us to drop our cake off early and brought it out with plates and silverware. I believe our waitress was Courtney, I apologize if that is incorrect, but she was amazing and very attentive. We loved the variety of food and drink choices; they have something for any kind of appetite! This is one of my favorite local spots!!

    I do LOVE your beet salad, and the service was superb! But the noise inside the restaurant is way too loud. You need some acoustic aids to muffle the sound (carpet, wall hangings?). I will come back, but only when I can est outside where I can hear the person sitting next to me at the table.

    Food was very good and service was good. It got pretty busy right after we got there but I think our server did a good job of getting back to us. She was very cheerful and friendly. Prices were reasonable. It does get loud in there, just the nature of the building. They have a nice patio that we are looking forward to using if our weather ever gets nice again. It was an enjoyable experience.

    Went here for my husband’s birthday. We sat outside and it was perfect with the beautiful weather. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Their food is amazing! Loved the appetizers of hummus and dippity dough da with beer cheese. Their dough they make is super good. I had the Green Goat pizza, yum! All their signature cocktails have cute song names and they were good too! Will be back!

    The Lauber has become our go to for everyday dining. We have found that the food always seems to be made fresh and not out of a box. We have been going to The Lauber for several months now and have been trying different things each time we come, each item tastes hand made to order and full of flavor. So far everything we’ve tried has been excellent! The value for the price is also very reasonable, I’d expect to pay more for the quality you get here, I have at other places and the quality has not been as high. The service is great even during busy times and most times you should get a reservation cause they are normally always busy.

    The food was very good -- all four of us en joyed our meals. The server (Casey) was very attentive without being intrusive. The acoustics in the building are not very good, but we didn't have too shout to be heard.

    We were visiting the area and the Lauber popped up as a recommendation so we decided to give it a try. It exceeded our expectations in every way! Our server Nelson was awesome and the food was outstanding. I wish that we lived closer because this would easily be a restaurant we would visit frequently.

    Server was rude and not attentive. Focusing on my wife and myself and asking our 3 grown children what they wanted to eat/ drink from the other end of the table. Never refilleded our waters. Had to remove/clean empty appetizer plates and drink glasses ourselves. Never came back to check on how the food came out. Placed entrees down in front of us without a word. Had to practically grab her arm as she was walking buy to get another beer ordered. Table of 5 and it was difficult to hear each other speak.l due to noise level. And we came at a slow time.     Overall The Lauber fell a little short of our hopes. Cool atmosphere and location, food was disappointing. We got sandwiches (Prime Melt and Reuben) with fries. Sandwiches were average and fries seemed liked they had been made several hours earlier. Would be willing to try something else from the menu another time, but won't go out of our way.
