Unfortunately we picked a night that it was raining, but we made the best of it. Good food, excellent service, and we got some pics on the Rooftop. We will be back soon, a great night with good friends.
Excellent choice to celebrate family and friends. Everything was wonderful, staff, cleanliness, Food and Drinks. And the View. Big shout out to the manager Miguel Soto who made his presence shown and interacted with guest making sure our experience was one of a kind. Thank you for that, celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday it was very special
I had to planned months out for this reservation it was worth the wait.
The atmosphere does not feel like anything in the local area, in a very good way. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The tables are centered around the bar area and the day we went there was a function in the conference room so the noise was a little loud but not to much to stop conversation. All in all one of the best dining places in the area!
The outdoor rooftop deck has amazing views! Food was great and the staff is terrific!!
The place to be in Melbourne. Great place to bring out of town guests. The views are superb!
I was very excited to try this new “hip” restaurant for a girls night out. Our server was exceptional- very friendly, helpful & attentive. Service overal was excellent. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. We ordered olives, ceviche and the peach mozzarella appetizer. Olives were just olives, nothing special. Ceviche with blue tortilla chips was not memorable and the peach mozzarella dish was essentially flavorless - one could not taste the peach at all. My beet salad was about 6 chunks of beet with very little green and two slivers of chicken - it was tiny! Caesar salad was tiny as well with 4 little chunks of romaine on a very small plate. Wings were over fried almost to the point of being burnt, hummus app again lacking flavor. My friend said her salmon was good and portion was decent. Duck dish was “ok” but lacking in flavor. Strawberry shortcake was good, moist but nothing special.
So sub par tasting & overpriced food couple with a table right next to the kitchen was less than enjoyable. Lighting was very bright, ambiance was lacking.
Nice place food is consistently good! Would definitely recommend to anyone
Our first time there to celebrate a birthday, food fantastic, views fantastic, staff were friendly and very helpful, all in all a wonderful evening.
Fair warning the ground floor to first floor parking garage has a very steep ramp up with little to no warning of anyone coming back down .... but parking garage does make it easy to take the elevator right up to the Landing Rooftop.
the experience was very good, however we did not eat outside because there were only 2 umbrellas and they were being used by one table.
Great, new location with rooftop and indoor seating. You definitely need reservations. Food was excellent. Server was friendly but getting the wine we ordered to have with dinner didn’t come until after we finished dinner. Drinks outdoors on the rooftop was incredible with great views.
Really enjoyed the rooftop and our waiter will was fantastic! A bit disappointed in the lack of flavor in the scallops dish and the steak wasn’t cooked good it was very chewy. The atmosphere and staff were great.
The view was fabulous but the service was not good. We decided to sit at the bar because no tables had umbrellas. The restaurant was not busy but service was slow even with at least 2 bartenders behind the bar at all times.
Service could’ve been better, they were out of scallops it just 8 o’clock shrimp was the other option and it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Service wasn’t that great had to ask for water twice and she overcharged us the scallops that we cannot even get so $60 overcharge.
Wonderful experience with both location, food and ambiance
Becca was an amazing server- very attentive- EXCELLENT service- especially considering we were a boisterous party of 12 enjoying the bottomless mimosas (awesome deal, BTW*).
The views and ambiance are unmatched in Brevard. But it is definitely best to plan on eating meals indoors and enjoying the views outside before and/or after the meal with drinks, as it can be really hot, windy, or stormy. That said, on another visit we ordered dinner outside and a storm came through before our food arrived. The our server Ryan and the staff handled the customer shuffling chaos beautifully- very professional and our food got re-routed to our new table hot, delicious, and without issue. 👏🏼
The kitchen had a few hiccups, but for the most part, everyone in our large party liked their food.
Both people who ordered the regular, buttermilk pancakes (not the apple cinnamon pancakes) were disappointed- said they were dry and had cinnamon in them. Thought they had mistakenly been given the wrong type, but no, their regular buttermilk pancakes have cinnamon and some other unexpected flavoring.
The Landing burger is STOOPID good!!!
Cauliflower steak was disappointing from both a taste and value standpoint.
*the flavorings for the mimosas are DIY syrups, not juices. Many enjoyed them and the variety, but I didn’t care for them. Becca brought me actual OJ to use as a mixer which was PERFECT! So delish!
I wish their menu was more robust, be overall it’s a great spot! Highly recommend you go (& ask for Becca or Ryan’s section) :)
Waitress forget about us, food was unflavored, terrible service, good views but AWFUL service. Bar service was nice, wait staff was not attentive. 3/10. Would not recommend for dinner but drinks I would.
I choose when placing the reservation to be seated inside but was taken outside which is guess was okay until it started raining. They did reseat us pretty quickly though. The atmosphere was nice it had a good vibe and the staff were friendly. All in all I would go back.
Ryan was our server and he was excellent. This hotel is beautiful and i would recommend locals to get out and check it out. The service is great, the views and atmosphere is the best.
Everything was wonderful, but my only complaint was the slowness of the service, which was not our waiter’s fault. I think they just don’t have enough employees yet.
Worst 4th of July celebration. Reserved a table for 6 back in April. Requested sitting on east side of rooftop We get there and that section in now VIP. and all reserved. We ended sitting on the south section of the roof. We were able to watch some minor fireworks works display from the VIP area roped off but not the one that we were expecting to see on the river front. We all got screwed. Food quality is mediocre. I guess they don’t change the grease. Servers need better training had to flag manager to get our table cleared. Had to request afterwards to have table wiped down. No patriotic music, no music period played while we were there. No July 4th decorations. It was flat. Third time I’ve bred there and it’s impressive at first but really needs better management support. Not planning on returning.
Drinks and food are good. However each plate is a different size, so be sure to keep that in mind. the menu got a little smaller then the last time I had visited and isn’t super big to begin with. So if your super hungry you’ll definitely have to get multiple plates.
Brenda is the best waitress we’ve ever had anywhere! Amazing service.
Help diners decide where to eat. Remember to keep it short, simple and specific.
As a vegetarian the Blackbeard burger was a good choice for me. I got It with a salad as the fries are cooked in the same oil as the meats. Also got the hummus appetizer. All good.
We were not impressed by the main dishes. Wings were awesome but carrots served with them clashed in flavor. Dad liked the hamburger and fries. Hubby and I ate the scallop dish and expected more for 33 bucks. Scallops and mushrooms grilled and presented perfect but was finished with a sauce that tasted like cream corn! Yuck! Mom had salmon and it was dry. Dessert was strawberry shortcake? It was two vanilla cake layers between cream with jam spread over the top. Yuck! Service amazing ! View amazing. We did not complain or try to make it right because hubby was celebrating his retirement and nothing was going to ruin that. We don’t intend to recommend this restaurant or return. Very disappointing! Especially after trying many times just to book a table! The hype does come close to the reality!
Our server, Brenda, was excellent; the food was good; and the view is amazing. We will be back!
It was our first time for dinner. We had a reservation for 6. Service was wonderful. Food presentation, taste and pricing was excellent. If you want to make a reservation for dining between 6:00pm and 7:30 pm be sure to go on Open Table a few weeks ahead. We had hoped for outside dining, but it stormed and they had a great location to set us up inside. Great views. It's a must if your live in or are visiting Melbourne.
The staff showed us to a coffee table for dining - this was not appropriate so we asked for a dining table height and we were shown to one. The wait staff were slow to come over and took a long time to bring the drinks. We had to ask for water several times and eventually got it just before our bill. Waiter seemed either overwhelmed or distracted- it was difficult to determine since we hardly saw him
Great atmosphere and views. Excellent service and good food. They all add up for a great night in downtown Melbourne.
The view is stunning. The menu to say the least is very limited. We tried the chicken wing bbq flavored they were good but all were broken that’s a serious choking hazard. The charcuterie board was very basic with the meat and cheese selections and not worth it at all. The peach jam was very good but that’s about it for that appetizer. The mussels had no flavor and I could of done without the over cooked chorizo. The Cesar salad was good and the everything bagel seasoning was a nice touch. The landing burger while good was small and needed some additional flavor. The Ny strip steak was ordered medium and arrived well done which absolutely ruined it. The cocktail my husband had was very good but as for the wine list my preference being red it was extremely limited. Overall it’s a new restaurant and you don’t know unless you try. Hopefully it will get better but I’m in no hurry to go again anytime soon.
The roof top at the Melby Hotel is fantastic. Unobstructed views all around, perfect weather, great service and great food.
It's all about the view. Everything else was average. Very limited menu choices and small portions. New place so we had to try it. Not in a rush to return.
We understand that the restaurant is new, but the service could use improvement. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating but very slow with some requests. The chicken wings were small and overcooked. One of the entrees was a very small portion and the most expensive.
Our anniversary dinner- great waitress , Kyanna, atmosphere & beautiful outdoor spaces. It rained, but it was still romantic.
The menus is short but the food was very good.
Took dad to Father’s Day to the rooftop, and had a wonderful time. We were seated in a timely fashion the food was very well flavored and perfect temperature. The service was attentive. Overall we had a very lovely time I look forward to going again.
Food was good, we sat outside at this rooftop restaurant. As we were finishing the rain began and the staff was quick to assist all outside diners in relocating to the inside.
Service a little slow and the runner kept trying to give us other tables food. They appeared to be short staffed, but I know these are trying times for all restaurants to find adequate staff.
Will definitely eat here again.
5pm reservation. We were a little early. They informed us they weren’t open for dinner yet. Hostess brought us to a high top table next to the elevators, Said to buy a drink at the bar and walk around outside on the deck. Hostess said the restaurant was open since April and still working “out the kinks.” Outside it was blazing hot and all tables said reserved. We finished our drinks and left, anticipating spotty service & food. The place is very industrial cement walls & floors- noisy echo. Maybe I’ll try it in again in a few years.
