Finally getting to Chef Zakarian's Lamb's Club was worth the wait! Our Sunday brunch was amazing, the music was great, and the belini's were top-notch delicious. Thanks, everyone, for making our first visit so memorable. We will be back!

Had the five course tasting menue. Four out of five courses were excellent. Ordered the lamb “medium-rare” but it was medium and a bit dry.
Waiter was arrogant and during the entire meal (5 courses) came to the table only twice (restaurant was half empty), but the servers were excellent professionals. Decor and ambience perfect.

This is not a place to go if you are a pescatarian or have any dietary restrictions. This was our second time dining there and we were immediately reminded of the kitchen's inflexibility when placing our orders. Despite having alerted the restaurant when we made the reservation that one diner was pescatarian and gluten free, there was really only one option for him to order. I am also pescatarian and although I wanted the halibut without the lardo, I was told that was not possible--all the fish was pre-marinated. Not wanting salmon, I then ordered the only other fish choice which was a very expensive dover sole. Unfortunately it was served in a shallow bowl and was drowning in sauce. Finally, the wait staff before we arrived led our friends to believe that the kitchen could not handle getting us out to the theater on time if we had more than one course and created unnecessary stress although there was plenty of time. Very disappointing all around. On the plus side, we were served a lovely complementary rose champagne in honor of our friends' anniversary for dessert. However, we expect more from a restaurant that aspires to be first class and has a well-known executive chef.

Sat down for a dinner before pre-theatre. We went there to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary. The tasting menu was delicious! We also tried the foie and burrata. Definitely will be back!

We like this place a lot. Upscale and refined with really attentive service and excellent food. A bit pricey but well worth it.

We love coming here pre and post theatre. It is also great for weekend brunch. This last time the food was OK. Probably what we selected. But the atmosphere and story make it so fun

Very disappointed with their handling of a meal that was prepared incorrectly...and by a lot. Also stunned at the drink prices and the waiter’s obvious inclination to suggest meals and beverages based simply on price and not necessarily quality or likeliness to enhance our experience.

A group of friends got together for dinner at the lambs club. The ambience was lovely. Very striking with the dark red seating. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Dover sole. The one thing that detracted from our experience was our waiter. He needed a little bit more training

We were enjoying our getaway at the Chatwal and decided to top it off at the jazz brunch at The Lambs Club. We were greeted with a sigh for our 11am reservation by a gentleman walking by, as the hostess was not at her station. She appeared as he was ushering us in and snapped a table number at her.
My bench seat had food stuck to it, and I was left to handle it. It turns out that this gentleman was our server. After a 5 min wait, he took our order which included coffee as our beverage. My husband loved his eggs, but the hash browns were dry and he would have liked ketchup. My oatmeal came steaming hot, but it took another 5 mins to get a spoon. There was no salt/pepper or butter on the table, and we recd warm mugs, but had to wait for coffee. Our server was friendly when giving us the check.
The music began around 11:45 as we were leaving.

The service sucks, waitress didn’t care enough to check in on us. Didn’t ask if drinks or food came out good. The food wasn’t that good. No flavor. Bar can’t even make a proper margarita. Used to be my favorite restaurant. Will no longer go there. Such a disappointment

I have gone here for the pretheater prix fixe in the past. The price has gone up and the quality has declined. While the restaurant remains gracious, it is not worth the money. The drinks were astronomical, $26 for a side car. My salmon was undistinguished and the filet mignon that cost an $18 supplement came with an inedible side dish. Dinner with a drink and coffee cost twice as much as the initial menu. I was disappointed and do not plan to return.

Went for brunch with friends. Liked the live music and general atmosphere. The quality of the brunch drinks was very lackluster, considering the price. The ratio of alcohol to mixers was way off. We expected more, since we'd gone for regular drinks previously. Some of our meals were good, but one entire pancake dish was served almost completely raw. The waiter had it taken care of, but that was about the only time our table was serviced with any regularity. We had to repeatedly ask for things many times (like coffee) before they would eventually arrive. The food also took over an hour to arrive after we ordered, which seemed odd since the place was half full and it's brunch. Overall, I would not recommend for brunch. Maybe try for evening drinks or dinner.

Lobster dish was too salty and not fresh. Gnocchi was also too salty and swimming in sauce like it was gnocchi soup. Although Kale salad was decent.

The staff were very nice and pleasant and I liked the large fireplace.

Summary: Food was poor, decor was ok, price was too high for the quality of the food.

Arrived after the pre-theater crowd left, so no one in the place. Hostess recommended a pre-dinner drink upstairs at the hotel bar. Great experience! The lack of customers was a bit odd at first, but the plus was we got the table of our choice and the servers full attention. Food was awesome. Very comfortable environment. Casual yet upscale at the same time. Retro red decor was really cool.

Servers were inattentive/slow. They asked if we wanted something (eg butter or jam), we said yes, and they didn't bring it. Had to ask twice for anything. The food was delicious though. The drinks were cool - ice cubes made from whatever the drink was. My parents said the Bloody Maries tasted like there was no alcohol.

Love the "oldies" picture around the restaurant and the beautiful presentation of the dishes The servers were very courteous and attentive.

The halibut, though is a little dry. Perhaps is a tad over done.

Over-priced uninspiring menu and meh food. New York Strip Steaks at $57 a piece were ordered Medium Rare arrived Medium well . So glad we didn't fall for the $150 pasta dish with shaved truffle. The martinis on the other hand were excellent. The fact that on a Friday night at 8pm the place was a ghost town should have set off alarm bells. Skip the dinner - just enjoy the beautiful art deco bar.

Portions were small. Food was cold. Prices were high. Asked for ground pepper never arrived. The salad was tiny. The side dishes weren't delivered and had to be asked again. Brussels sprouts and the duck were cold. For those prices no wonder the room was half empty on a Friday night.

Convenient for preshow dining before catching a show in Times Square, bur probably would have gone elsewhere had that not been the case simply becasue the city is so full of unusual and exciting dining options. That being said, our servers were amazing and we had a great meal (not too heavy) very relaxed and well attended and then strolled easily to the theater.

It was apparent that this restaurant did not cater to solo diners. The chef’s tasting meal was delicious , all but the last course, which was like trying to eat a can of cocoa powder.

We are from Denmark and therefore NOT in the in core segment - but experienced dinners . We have been at the restaurant i 2013 and hence this experience we chose Lamp Club again this time a more ordinary experience without "the wouv" - compared to the restaurant in Copenhagen snd Price lever - even thoug Troy Curtis performed - sadly also an experience below average . Only the band was extraordinary

We we're fortunate to have Maria as our server! She is a real Superstar! She was so kind and attentive. We mentioned my friend's birthday, and she remembered, as well as took care of other details so courteously. The other staff members we met were also friendly and professional. The only negative the entire evening were the loud boors at the next table who thought they were on a trading floor or men's locker room -- completely not The Lambs Club's fault -- they were really out of place.
