I loved the feeling of the restaurant and the singer was fantastic. That's where my good experience ended (expect for the great coffee).
The waiter was nervous and stated he was new. He mumbled and dropped things....I wanted to get up and help him.
It took 50 minutes to get a waffle and some hash with eggs and both were luke warm.
Part of my husbands order never came and I had eggshells in my smoke pastrami hash/eggs. The hash was delicious but once i crunched down on the shells, I couldn't eat anymore. I mentioned both to our waiter.
Our waiter did not check on us during our meal. I had to ask someone to get him for our check.
I would not come back or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Wonderful ambiance and food. The live music during brunch was lovely. Poor service.
Still one of our all-time favorites -- you can't do better for food or setting and the live music is absolutely magnificent. We would happily have stayed all day if we could.
Food, ambiance & service was amazing. Worth the price for a special occasion.
A most enjoyable meal; and the service was excellent.
Very glad we took a friend's recommendation to try the Lamb's Club. Beautiful room. Great drinks and wine list. Service was attentive though a little slow to start and a little slow to get the check at the end. The food was excellent with good variety on the relatively brief menu. I would definitely dine here again.
Too much Dijon mustard in the steak tartare. Waaay too much salt on the hamachi small bread croutons on the Dover sole??? Disappointing culinary experience. Did the chef change?? Good but not excellent service.
Taste sensation through out each course. Fabulous service. Can't be neat and wonderful pre theater. Always my first choice.
Great overall experience before a broadway show. Raw dishes were a bit salty, but burrate salad with copressata marmalade was fantastic. I had the pasta with crabmeat which was delicious, and my husband had the whole sole which was very good, but very rich. Service overall was great, but started to slow down once it got very busy, which is understandable. Overall good experience and will go back.
A taste of old New York
Quiet enough to hear your companions and have a meaningful conversation
Lovely decor u deratated
Went to meet friends for breakfast on my birthday. I was early and they sat me right away which is wonderful and a bit unusual in NYC. Often they will make you wait for your party to be complete. A good pot of coffee was brought out right away. My friends were late but the waiter was attentive in case I wanted anything while I waited. I ordered off of the menu my companions were in the mood for Eggs Benedict which is not on the weekday menu. No problem they whipped up the hollandaise without a care. My friends were just passing through town on their way back to Switzerland so we sat and chatted for 2 hours. We never felt rushed or unattended to. I love The Lambs Club and will always have my birthday breakfast there.
Did not honor our reservation. Made an 11pm reservation for restaurant week and told us the kitchen had already closed
My grandparents and I went here before going to the theater, and it was AMAZING. We raved about the food here more than we did the show we saw after. The Colorado Lamb is incredible, and you have to get the Baked Alaska!!!! It’s out of this world!!!! Zakarian is doing something right
