Overpriced. Poor service. Very small portions.
Wonderful dinner- cozy “club” environment. Small room and easy to carry a conversation. The food was excellent and the presentation of food and drink was outstanding, as well as the service!
Pleasantly surprised that this was GZ’s restaurant. The menu reflected Geoffrey’s thoughtful composition and critiques of the Chopped contestants. Each dish was perfectly delicious and balanced. Service was great and the room was warm and comfortable.
We had excellent food and service at The Lamb’s Club. The wine recommendation was perfect. The prix fixe menu is a great way to go if you have theater tickets.
Excellent with lobster spaghetti, spicy crab app, and the figgy pudding ! Superb in every way , a little pricey
Great service and a wonderful meal. You absolutely get what you pay for. Will be back.
Very nice small restaurant with excellent food. Not a lot of people for lunch.
Very nice meal. Quiet. Excellent service. Food very good, except one meal came out cold.
Went for brunch and everything was wonderful. Food delicious, service terrific and a jazz combo which only added to the experience.
We had such high hopes for this place but were sadly let down. The atmosphere is adorable! I loved the live jazz and cozy tables.
However, for the prices they are charging for drinks and brunch I expected better service and food. Granted I ordered the avocado toast BUT it came with barely a smear of avocado and no sides. It was pretty much toast dosed with oil and garnish. I sent it back and out came the correct dish with the potato sides and a extra cup of avocado to add on to the barely there again breakfast. For $22 I want to taste the avocado. Ultimately the food was sub-par. The side of bacon came out cold. The valrhona hott chocolate was watered down. A waste of $130; Ended up leaving hungry and grabbing something at another nearby spot.
Delicious small plates before Theater. Very attentive staff.
Delicious food and impeccable service. The fireplace was warm and beautiful!
Lovely Christmas Dinner. Food and services were excellent and the carolers in period dress were a very nice touch.
Wonderful restaurant to take guests. We enjoyed the Christmas carolers while we enjoyed our meal.
Pre Christmas brunch before a play
Excellent food, great atmosphere and service
Fantastic experience! We loved the food, service and atmosphere
This food was the best ever, from bread to dessert. The lamb chops were the best I’ve ever had, thumbs up to the chef. Thanks
From start to finish, a treat indeed.
If she's beautiful bar music and the food is absolutely very special
My husband and I had a lovely lunch at The Lambs Club. I had always wanted to try Branzino but I rarely see it on menus. I was not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection. But, I must say, the highlight for me was meeting Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. He was gracious and every bit the gentleman I have observed on the Food Network. Being an avid home cook, meeting him left me star struck. In my world it was every bit as exciting as meeting a movie star with perhaps George Clooney being the exception.
I highly recommend this restaurant for its food and wonderful ambiance. We can't wait to visit again the next time we are in the City.
Loved the Jazz trio, by fireplace . Sunday has brunch menu at 1pm . I had the tuna entree , which was very good . Would have liked the whole lunch menu . Great location . Golden Theater across the street on 44th. Service very good .
Great Sunday Brunch!
Great art deco atmosphere for Sunday brunch. Food was very good but not spectacular. Pastrami Hash sounded good but tasted more like BBQ pulled pork. Service was friendly but lacked. We sat with two rounds of dirty cocktail glasses at our table throughout the entire meal...and were never offered coffee refills (brunch time). Would I go back.... probably. The overall experience was good, and the ambiance was definitely "New York".
Three dollar signs is too few dollar signs. $50 dollar average entree.
One of the best restaurants in nyc . Always try and go when in town from Chicago
What a find! Located inside the Chatwal Hotel, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated promptly upon our arrival for our 8:30pm dinner reservation. The room is fantastic with red leather seating, a large fireplace and photos of Lambs Club members on the walls. We started with the curried crab and spaghetti squash crusted shrimp appetizers. For our main course, my wife had the petite filet and I had the dry aged Delmonico cut steak. Both were prepared perfectly. Make sure you get the fries with pastrami spices. The wine list is excellent. The sommelier assisted us with selecting a Brunello di Montalcino to pair with our steaks. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding with a glass of port. It was fantastic! The service at the Lambs Club is excellent. The hostess, wait staff and sommelier were all spot on.
If you are staying in the midtown area or seeing a broadway show, I highly recommend the Lambs Club.
Not a cheap place to eat, so you expect great food but it was only ok. My steak was cooked correctly and had good flavor but the accompanying things with it had not flavor and I’m not sure the purpose they served. My wife got the duck breast and they did not render the fat well. It was rubbery and a big disappointment. It was also very, very sweet. So she ordered the charred broccoli to try to offset all of the sweetness and it was not just charred, it was scorched. It was inedible. We raised that issue to two different people including our waiter and yet they still put it on the bill. After we told the waiter again it was a bad side and we were surprised they left it on the bill. It was up to them if they wanted to leave it on the bill. We would pay it but we’re surprised to see it there. Then the waiter went and finally took it off. We we’re happy to pay well for a great meal and unfortunately we just got to pay an expensive dinner.
Everything’s was fantastic!
Fabulous as always. Such a cozy setting on a cold, windy December evening. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. Although this is a pricey choice, we always enjoy the innovative menu. It was the Christmas season, but service was excellent.
Excellent butter squash soup and poached lobster on pasta , salads are exceptional, as well as the sticky toffee bread pudding
Very good service and excellent food. Thanks
We come here several times per year, and always once during the holiday season. The food is always very good. The menu varies periodically. Today was my son’s 27th birthday. The service was great —as always. We appreciate seeing familiar faces. It says something about a NY restaurant that they keep their people. We are not tourists and have expectations for places we like to go to more than once. This is a refined, classy, reliable, comfortable establishment.
Amazing place to have Brunch or Lunch or dinner.. Love the ambiance .. Great menu.. great service..
Love the music and singing on Sundays..
Fabulous evening in every way!
The ambiance was elegant, the service impeccable and the food superb. We could not have had a better dining experience on a busy December night in NYC!
I have done a few reviews for this restaurant...
Excellent food and service - a very enjoyable dinner!
