Leave yourself lots of time if have some place to go. Once we got seated (we had a 12:15 pm reservation for 5 and got seated at 12:45) the waitstaff was efficient. The kitchen was not. It took about 30 mins for our food, some omelets and sandwiches, to arrive. As it was a larger group (more than 4) I had to guarantee with a credit card. They were trying to get us into a larger table but that party was not budging. In the end, they took a table for 4 and added an extra seat. Not as spacious as would have preferred.

Pretty room. Good food. Enjoyable background music at brunch

I am glad that I read up that service could be slow. We had a 2PM concert to attend.

We would return but we know to plan ahead. Smaller parties more likely to be seated faster. I cant speak how the kitchen would respond.

Our third time at The Lamb’s Club. We have always enjoyed the food especially the desserts. Our wait staff was very slow. She finally took our order 1 hour after we sat down.

Inventive. Creative. Well executed. Elevated. Never had a bad meal in the years that I have been coming here. A homey, relevant first rate dining experience.

This is perhaps our sixth visit to the Lamb's Club. We found the prices this time outrageously high for brunch considering the music had ended and we were basically made to feel as if we were neither in brunch nor in the next seating category. We had reservations for 2:45 from Open table, which led us to believe that it was still the full brunch experience. Very disappointed, especially since we loved this restaurant.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter actually overheard me wishing my friend a happy birthday and brought her a dessert with a candle and had the jazz trio sing happy birthday to her. I didn't even ask - it was so nice. The brunch avocado and egg was tasty. I would only say that they need to work on their bloody mary's - not up to par with the rest of the place.

This is the second time we've been to the Lamb's Club for breakfast. We were staying at the hotel across the street and it was handy. They are leisurely so not good if you are in a hurry. they also mixed up our orders a little, but were attentive at fixing the mistakes. Food and service is better than other places like Une, Diex, Trois across the street.

I brought my fiancee to the Lamb's Club for her birthday dinner. It was an outstanding meal! I had the Burrata Appetizer and then NY Strip with Bernaise Gastrique and Short Rib mashed potatoes. My fiancée had the Gem Salad and Amish Chicken with Chestnut Cream sauce. It was served with a baked yam. The sommelier recommended the perfect red wine to go with my entrée (not the most expensive)! We shared the fudge bar for dessert. Our waiter Jason Altman was among the best we have ever had take care of us anywhere. His knowledge of the menu and his presentation of the features of each dish and the special of the evening was truly helpful. We really sensed that he wanted us to enjoy our experience. His willingness to visit with us at the table made us feel right at home. His professionalism as a server is unparalleled. He knew exactly how to balance friendly interaction with refined service. Jason's attentiveness and care made our evening at the Lamb's Club a truly exceptional experience!

The drinks are outrageously expensive. With tip, two cocktails cost more than $50 and we asked for the cheapest gin and bourbon on hand.

The tastes were great although the lamb was a bit, and surprisingly, tough. Should be a once in a lifetime experience to go here.

The rib eye for 2 was all you would expect from a New York steak house that dry ages. But the pasta with white truffle was a nice treat and the oyster selection and burata apps were perfect. The real star was the wine selection. I’d go back for sure.

This was a surprise birthday dinner - and then rushing off to theatre afterwards - they got us out on time!
The Service from the receptionist to the server was the best I've had in a long while. Everyone was so very nice and professional. The food was just delicious and a good temperature - my duck breast was delicious, perfectly cooked - and didn't want to share after my first bite! My friends had the Dover Sole and the other, the Halibut.
We shared the Beet Salad, had a pasta, and the Shisito Peppers. All wonderful.
Highly recommend!

The food and service was outstanding. The food and drinks were very creative - beautiful to look at as well as taste. Also, the server heard me say it was my husband's birthday. He surprised us with a delicious piece of cake - very thoughtful. We are already planning on dining there again on a future visit to NYC.

Had the five course tasting menue. Four out of five courses were excellent. Ordered the lamb “medium-rare” but it was medium and a bit dry.
Waiter was arrogant and during the entire meal (5 courses) came to the table only twice (restaurant was half empty), but the servers were excellent professionals. Decor and ambience perfect.

This is not a place to go if you are a pescatarian or have any dietary restrictions. This was our second time dining there and we were immediately reminded of the kitchen's inflexibility when placing our orders. Despite having alerted the restaurant when we made the reservation that one diner was pescatarian and gluten free, there was really only one option for him to order. I am also pescatarian and although I wanted the halibut without the lardo, I was told that was not possible--all the fish was pre-marinated. Not wanting salmon, I then ordered the only other fish choice which was a very expensive dover sole. Unfortunately it was served in a shallow bowl and was drowning in sauce. Finally, the wait staff before we arrived led our friends to believe that the kitchen could not handle getting us out to the theater on time if we had more than one course and created unnecessary stress although there was plenty of time. Very disappointing all around. On the plus side, we were served a lovely complementary rose champagne in honor of our friends' anniversary for dessert. However, we expect more from a restaurant that aspires to be first class and has a well-known executive chef.

Very disappointed with their handling of a meal that was prepared incorrectly...and by a lot. Also stunned at the drink prices and the waiter’s obvious inclination to suggest meals and beverages based simply on price and not necessarily quality or likeliness to enhance our experience.

We were enjoying our getaway at the Chatwal and decided to top it off at the jazz brunch at The Lambs Club. We were greeted with a sigh for our 11am reservation by a gentleman walking by, as the hostess was not at her station. She appeared as he was ushering us in and snapped a table number at her.
My bench seat had food stuck to it, and I was left to handle it. It turns out that this gentleman was our server. After a 5 min wait, he took our order which included coffee as our beverage. My husband loved his eggs, but the hash browns were dry and he would have liked ketchup. My oatmeal came steaming hot, but it took another 5 mins to get a spoon. There was no salt/pepper or butter on the table, and we recd warm mugs, but had to wait for coffee. Our server was friendly when giving us the check.
The music began around 11:45 as we were leaving.

The service sucks, waitress didn’t care enough to check in on us. Didn’t ask if drinks or food came out good. The food wasn’t that good. No flavor. Bar can’t even make a proper margarita. Used to be my favorite restaurant. Will no longer go there. Such a disappointment

I have gone here for the pretheater prix fixe in the past. The price has gone up and the quality has declined. While the restaurant remains gracious, it is not worth the money. The drinks were astronomical, $26 for a side car. My salmon was undistinguished and the filet mignon that cost an $18 supplement came with an inedible side dish. Dinner with a drink and coffee cost twice as much as the initial menu. I was disappointed and do not plan to return.

Went for brunch with friends. Liked the live music and general atmosphere. The quality of the brunch drinks was very lackluster, considering the price. The ratio of alcohol to mixers was way off. We expected more, since we'd gone for regular drinks previously. Some of our meals were good, but one entire pancake dish was served almost completely raw. The waiter had it taken care of, but that was about the only time our table was serviced with any regularity. We had to repeatedly ask for things many times (like coffee) before they would eventually arrive. The food also took over an hour to arrive after we ordered, which seemed odd since the place was half full and it's brunch. Overall, I would not recommend for brunch. Maybe try for evening drinks or dinner.

Lobster dish was too salty and not fresh. Gnocchi was also too salty and swimming in sauce like it was gnocchi soup. Although Kale salad was decent.

The staff were very nice and pleasant and I liked the large fireplace.

Summary: Food was poor, decor was ok, price was too high for the quality of the food.

Arrived after the pre-theater crowd left, so no one in the place. Hostess recommended a pre-dinner drink upstairs at the hotel bar. Great experience! The lack of customers was a bit odd at first, but the plus was we got the table of our choice and the servers full attention. Food was awesome. Very comfortable environment. Casual yet upscale at the same time. Retro red decor was really cool.

Servers were inattentive/slow. They asked if we wanted something (eg butter or jam), we said yes, and they didn't bring it. Had to ask twice for anything. The food was delicious though. The drinks were cool - ice cubes made from whatever the drink was. My parents said the Bloody Maries tasted like there was no alcohol.
