The service was very professional and our waiter was excellent. The food was very good but nothing that would make me want to go back again. Had the short ribs and the branzino- average. The shrimp appetizer was interesting but not worth the $29.00. We sat near the fireplace which is a terrific feature but every time the entrance door was opened the draft was unbearable.

Our table was near the front so every time the front door opened we got a blast of hot air. My wife ordered the lobster spaghetti. The waiter stated that it was quite spicy but if she would like, he would ask kitchen to reduce the heat. She felt it was either not requested or was still too spicy. I ordered the Lamb dish. The lamb Ragu and vegetables were very good but of the 3 lamb chops too were very difficult to cut with the knife provided. Desert was an apple tart that had a very tough crust, not flakey in the least. Should with get sharper knifes or better quality food.

We had pre-theater dinner at the Lamb Club. The food and services were outstanding. We enjoyed the food, we had the ahi tuna tartar and had spaghetti squash shrimp as our appetizer. We enjoyed the Peking Duck and the short rib agnolotti as the main course. We very much enjoyed the apple tart for the anniversary. We also enjoyed the Pinot Noir from Bergsrom 2016.

Fantastic food. Attention to the smallest detail. Lobster spaghetti was creamy, hot and flavorful simultaneously. Wife got the short ribs that were excellent. Only problem was not enough room for dessert.

I gave this place 4 stars out of 5. We have a 4:45 PM reservation and got there on time. The host told us to wait for a few minutes at the hotel lounge area. Around 5:02 we were told that we could go in. The fireplace made the place warm and toasty. The tables were set up beautifully . Our waiter was very attentive and cheerful. However, some server needs to exert more effort in giving the customers a little “smile”. The Salmon was good. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake was very delicious. I think the place is beautiful, the food okay. However, some server needs to give a little extra smile.

We loved the ambiance and service. Warm clubby feel- the noise level was much appreciated as allowed for quiet conversation. Salad was dressed so that all flavors combined to be more than sum of parts. Not all restaurants do such a thoughtful preparation for a salad. My husband had pasta w lobster and I had cod. Well prepared and seasoned w discipline . The charred broccoli is addictive and was actually the part of the meal I’ll remember most.

The entire experience was exemplary. Greeting at the door was friendly and efficient. We were shown to an extremely good table close to the beautiful open fire [it was February and 'chilly' outside!] We informed the team that we had nearby Theatre reservations and were assured that we could eat in good time. The menu was interesting and offered some exciting taste experiences - how right they are! The food was simply superb - I enjoyed a lobster dish that had a sauce of amazing complexity - arguably the best I have ever eaten .... Wine by the glass offered great value. The whole evening could not have been better.

Ambiance and food quality was excellent as usual. Service was inconsistent - had to ask another server to find ours at least twice. Was told the dessert was not charged per person, just that it served 2. Was charged $30 anyway for a piece of cake. The server backpedalled when asked about the cost and said it indeed was $15 per person. Disappointing.

I went there for my anniversary and for Valentine's Day and had a nice experience. The radicchio salad was very refreshing and the filet was rare as ordered. I still find a $24 martini to be beyond the pale. Especially when it is not a very big martini.

We had an early reservation, 5:30, hoping to not have a rushed Valentines Day dinner. It was the Saturday after Valentine’s Day. As soon as we sat down, the same gentleman who checked our reservation (in the bar area) came and asked if we had any questions on the menu. At that point no water, no drinks, no bread nothing. That was a hint on what was to come!! By 5:55, we were though drinks, appetizers and main course!!! We have been to GZs a few times (my wife loves going there) and it’s always the same. The good is very good but as GZ would say on Chopped, the portion sizes are not appropriate for adults. They had a prix fix dinner that night so we chose the 3 courses. We started with a seafood tower for two. This consisted of two shrimp, two oysters, two fluke crudo, which was the size of two small Mellon balls and a crabmeat salad, about a teaspoon full. This was for two. It’s hard to really comment on quality on this appetizer as it was so small (politely choosier not to say insignificant). The main course was listed risotto, again for two. They are two lobster claws and on tail split in half. It could not have been from anything more than a 1 pound lobster. The risotto itself was very good but not even a full portion. Remember again, it is now only 6 pm. The service was like a bee hive with people coming to move plates, clean table, ask how you’re doing, nonstop really. Curiously, when a asked one person for another drink, it took so long that another person came and took an order for espresso and the drink, dessert and espresso all came at the same time, all delivered by 3 different people. The dessert, baked Alaska was very good and appropriately portioned. So, I miles my drink and we enjoyed our dessert and managed to stay in the restaurant until 6:30!!! It’s really amazing to me that I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt. This might be the last time.

Amazing food and ambience. However, Very very expensive. We don’t mind paying, but just as an example, we were served an 8oz glass of wine for a price that nearly doubles the cost of the bottle - a bottle you can find in pretty much any wine store. That, I found to be somewhat insulting. At least offer it from a bottle that is hard to find so that the rip-off isn’t as noticeable. Other than that, great.

This is a very expensive restaurant. If that’s not an issue go and enjoy! But don’t go if you’re on a budget. I started with 6 oysters which were very good. I had the branzino which was a bit overdone. My partner started with the crusted shrimp which he liked followed by the agnolotti which he also liked.

I had scheduled a pretheater dinner at Lambs Club on Feb 4th during restaurant week. I enjoyed it so much that I booked another dinner on February 12th with other friends. The music was too loud. I asked for it to be lowered, the waiter said yes but it wasn't. The appetizers were great but the main dish food was mediocre. The wait staff was good. The repeat experience was disappointing.

Four of us went to the Lambs Club for dinner after a Matinee on Broadway. Three of us had the priced fixed dinner, and one of us did not. I think everyone was pleased with all aspects of the meal. I had chicken, which was absolutely delicious! It was prepared with a mushroom puree under the skin. It came with a fantastic flavorful sauce and was very moist. I had the squash soup as an appetizer. It tasted like a Thai dish, and was wonderful. As desert, I had the cookies, which were also delicious - two come in a box, so that you can take them out if you want. Once I opened the box to peak inside, I couldn't resist. I highly recommend it, with a warning that all that wonderful food does not come cheap. However, it was worth it!
