amazing as always!!!!! Judy is AMAZING!
The service and attention to detail is always impeccable!!
Excellent service and delicious food. Very pleased.
Great spot for early breakfast meetings. They are very accommodating in the am.
Outstanding food. Highly recommend dining here
We went to the Lamb's Club for the Sunday Jazz Brunch. It was our first time there and we are looking forward to going again. The Art Deco room is impressive and all tables have a pretty good view of the performers. I had the Mediterranean breakfast and it was the best meal I had during my weekend in New York. The price is outrageous for the desserts that have to be ordered for two, but the sticky toffee pudding was wonderful. The only negative was a large group behaving badly. They made it hard to enjoy the performers.
Always terrific. Food is great, ambiance is very nice, and you can have a quiet conversation.
We went for a quiet brunch to find a jazz band playing so loud we could not hear one word our guests were saying. If we had been at a jazz concert that would have been the noise level NIGHTMARE
Pre theatre dining was efficient however I would go to this restaurant any time I’m in the area. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They offer a tasting menu- appetizer, entree and dessert. The scallops were delicious and the salmon was perfectly prepared. The ice cream - dark chocolate and pumpkin spice was tasty. My companion had the kale salad to start and peking duck for his entree. He claimed the duck was outstanding and some of the best he had ever eaten.
Wine was very expensive- substantial mark up- but it was worth paying up for the great atmosphere and meal.
Our waiter was wonderful- friendly, efficient and pleasant. The staff did everything just right- it has been a long time since I have been to a restaurant that always so well run.
I would almost say it does not matter what you order as it will be superb. The staff was about as gracious as can be and the ambiance was excellent. I had oysters on the half shell and my friend had the squash soup. She raved. We split the Beef Wellington and the au jus with it was super strong so it really brought out the beef flavor. We also had rosemary prepared steamers that seemed like the herb was all the way through the potato. The Butterscotch dessert was unbelievable as well. Side note we used the Somellier to pair and he found a great red blend. He even helped bus the table before our entree. Please go and support GZ
Had a wonderful experience, service was great, and the food was great!
The menu is limited but the quality of the food is great! Service was also top notch. A very enjoyable experience.
What a pleasure! We were a party of four eating the pre-theatre dinner. Service was excellent as was the food. We look forward to going to The Lambs Club again.
Perfect for a quiet brunch or lunch with Mom. Service and main course where excellent. Deserts where overpriced and dried up.
Perfect pre theatre spot !!
Elegant restaurant with personal touch, very friendly staff, excellent selection of mainly American dishes, very nice ambiance. I can definitely recommend the scallops with green tomatoes as an appetizer!
I wanted to go somewhere special for breakfast on the day of my husband's 50th birthday, and a work colleague had recommended The Lambs Club. We were not disappointed - breakfast was delicious and the service was attentive without being pushy. I would definitely recommend!
First let me say, I have Celiac Disease. When I called prior, I was assured that there were food options that would work. When I arrived, I was seated immediately, and it wasn't long until my server came to the table. I ordered a glass of chardonnay, which was ridiculously priced. (It was that one, or one that was far inferior in flavor profile.) They had the most delicious gluten free bread I have ever had, and I enjoyed it with the mussels appetizer which was quite good. I ordered the salmon for my entree, and apparently the "gluten free" version would require some adjustments to the preparation. What I got was bland and tasteless...and ridiculously expensive. What I wish had happened was that another more gluten free, tasteful option had been offered or prepared. (There were other options on the menu that were gluten free.) Ultimately, the chef offered a pumpkin mousse to make up for the meal, and I must say...it was AMAZING. Thank you for trying to make it right, but overall it didn't hit the mark.
As always, my friends and I had a wonderful meal prior to going to the theatre. The food and service were excellent. Since I live in a suburb of Philadelphia, I don’t come to NY often. But when I do, I the Lambs Club is my go to place.
As usual, I loved the ambience and the food was delicious. But, expensive! Although it was very nice that my glass of wine was refilled after I had spilled it. The Lambs Club will continue to be one of my favorite places, for special occasions!
I’m still thinking about my salad & steak Sat night so you know I liked it!!! Our waiter was excellent, bread delicious as was the dessert, really everything we tasted we enjoyed!!! The restaurant was pleasantly filled as not that noisy, banquet very comfortable, decor lovely!!! Really one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time!
Great for weekend brunch, especially “pre-theatre.
The staff was attentive and very conscientious of our Broadway show time. Food was perfect and we had a wonderful time
The food and ambience are amazing! Love this place!!
Wonderful dinner overall, the chicken was amazing, and I never order chicken a restaurant, but I am glad I did! The staff very attentive, they read their reservation notes and brought us two truffles with a happy anniversary! Way to have attention to detail! Would certainly go back and definitively recommend.
A true taste of old New York. Perfect pre-theatre place to go. Food and service were outstanding.
Always enjoy a good meal pre theater here.
The dining experience was wonderful. We were given a good amount of resting time in between each course. They were very accommodating with my gluten allergy. B
Very enjoyable meal. Delicious, well prepared food. High end feel and service. Nice selection of menu choices. Friendly, personable staff that made us feel at home. Only "negative" are prices which are a little over the top, even for a high end NYC restaurant, but you know that going in so it is what it is. Would not stop me from coming back, only from doing so with any regularity. Overall a great restaurant that I would recommend.
Great lunch or dinner spot, breakfast as well!! Perfect service
The Lambs Club is an extremely elegant and sophisticated room. The noise level is extremely low - unlike so many New York restaurants, one can actually have a pleasant conversation in this ambience. I would especially recommend it for pre theater dining. The food is superb, the service attentive and friendly and professional at all levels. We had not dined at The Lambs Club for some time and were very pleased to be reacquainted with such a special place.
My guess is that Geoff Z hasn’t eaten here since opening night. One of his deputies should scold the kitchen for their use of what appears to be some pre-made and then frozen food. They should also plug the hole in their salt shaker. I know restaurants are big on salt, but my tongue was numb after 2 arancini. The restaurant is conveniently located for midtown / Times Square needs, and the space is generally nice. The upstairs lounge is particularly refreshing with its live jazz band and tables spaced for comfort. Unfortunately, the menu prices suggest a top level dining experience, and the food quality is more bar/lounge that serves food. Ownership should pick which one they want to be and prepare/price accordingly.
Great menu. All dishes excellent. Nice vibe. Casual but elegant and very comfortable.
Way too overpriced for the amount of food. Gazpacho was just too liquidy. Dessert was nothing great. Strange music playlist.
The food wasn’t very good and extremely salty. My cod was tasteless except for the salt. They served popcorn on our way out that tasted of stale paprika and leftover movie popcorn without the butter. It was an overall strange, overpriced letdown.
Great location for business catch-up meetings, the staff is very attentive, non intrusive and accomodating.
Wine arrived after the meal.
Chicken was undercooked and parts were not chewable. Awful.
Bok Choy was way over cooked.
Huge disappointment as I’ve been many times tho not recently and it was much better.
Sophisticated flavors, excellent service which allowed us both to enjoy the dinner and get to the theater in time. A beautiful room—not sure how loud it would be when full. But at an early pre-theatre dinner it was a pleasure to be able to hear ourselves!
Was not crowded at all - cocktails were not 20 dollar cocktails....the duck was phenomenal.
Great menu, there was several great choices for everyone in our group. Service was attentive and got us to our show with time to spare.
Bench s very deep could use some pillows or cushions for support
