At The Lambs Club - Bar, Chef Geoffrey Zakarian has created a relaxed and inviting restaurant serving full dinner menu, Pre Theatre dinner menu and bar snacks. The bar comfortably accommodates daytime meetings or refined cocktails in the evening with large round banquettes and floor to ceiling windows looking out onto 44th Street.

Located within The Chatwal Hotel, The Lambs Club provides room service for the 76 hotel rooms and oversees private dining in the various event spaces throughout the building. This landmark masterpiece was originally built and designed by Stanford White in 1905 and just reopened after a major renovation and restoration with every detail overseen by architect Thierry Despont.

Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing dinner experience. Staff was excellent and a shout out to Chris the mezzanine manager for taking the time to speak with us. We enjoyed the steak tartar, arugula salad, branzino and cod. All delicious and well prepared.

At the time that I visited they were preparing for Valentines evening. I had reserved for afternoon tea, which they were not serving. So in that sense it was a little disappointing.

Very disappointed in the food and service. Drink orders were taken quickly but had to ask twice for a food order to be taken. Ordered my lamb pink and it was way overcooked. Sent it back and second attempt was slightly better. Server made no apologies.

Although I have visited the Lambs Club in the past I have never been on the second floor. I suppose that was the dining area for restaurant week. In any event, the service was personable and attentive. The food ,especially the crab salad appetizer, was divine. Beautifully plated and scrumptious salmon. The specially delivered martinis from bar was a nice touch!

Went here for restaurant week. The food was great but the amount of waiting that went on was not. We waited for our table for 20 minutes despite numerous tables being open. Once we finally ordered, we waited an extremely long time for our appetizer. The wait between appetizer and main was excruciating. We got hungry again because it took so long and the waitress never checked in on us. When dessert finally came, we only got one of our orders, had to flag down the waitress in order to get silverware and the other dessert. While the food was good, the lack of service means we won't be back. There are too many great restaurants in this city to have poor service.

I made reservations to the Lambs Club for our holiday luncheon with colleagues. I had been here previously and enjoyed the cocktail specials. I picked this venue because of its close proximity to our office and because it’s great for a large group. I ordered the duck leg confit. Others ordered the salmon, burger, lamb gyro and omelet. We all enjoyed our lunch. My colleagues were very happy with their cocktails. The Lambs Club exceeded our expectations. The food was delish and cocktails divine. I would definitely return and highly recommend for large gatherings.

While the food was delicious. The service was subpar. We made reservations and when arrived the hostess acted like we were disturbing her by checking in. Shen then sent us upstairs. They wanted to seat us at a table that was overrun by people crowded at the bar. When asked for a different table and hostesses stayed there were none. We went to walk out and normally I am not the type to complain at restaurants however. This is supposed to be upscale. The manager magically found a table and we took it but the initial impression already left at bad taste.

I booked a table at the Lambs Club Bar and Lambs Club called me twice to confirm my reservation. Quite the surprise that when we arrived we were told there was a private party in the Bar and we would go to the restaurant. The service staff could not explain why during the 2 confirmation calls (include one earlier the same day) I was not told that the Bar was going to be closed for a private party. The service staff assured me we could get the Bar menu in the Restaurant. Not true. Instead of us having a fun time like we would have in the Bar we had to order a full meal off of the Restaurant dinner menu. Frankly if I wanted to have a formal dinner in the restaurant that is what I would have booked. Overall a very disappointing experience.
