Lovely old fashioned pub with excellent home cooking. Nice idea to have half bottles of wine.

Booked through open table, arrived at the restaurant and they didn't have the booking, anyway they sorted us out, the restaurant was empty when we arrived. The smoked haddock wasn't fresh it was bordering on the edge, but just ok. Received an email from the restaurant to say they couldn't fit us in, this arrived when we had finished eating, strange.
