   We came there for our anniversary and everyone there was so nice and wished us a Happy Anniversary. They also brought us a desert on the house. What a great place to visit!

   A somewhat nice experience (shorted my hubby on his perch) until I asked for Creme brulee for dessert. We were there for our anniversary dinner and we usually like to share a creme brulee for dessert. It's something special we only do on our anniversary day. We were told "Sorry, we only have 15 and they're for a party coming in later." What? WHY did he have to tell us that?? It would have been better if he just said they didn't have any. We were in there early (5pm), you're a restaurant, you didn't have time to make more? Made our celebration end on a bad note.

   The food, ambience, and service here was amazing! Curtis took great care of us, and gave us awesome recommendations. The views are stunning from the dining room. We enjoyed the mushroom crustini, vegetable risotto, steak special, crab cakes, and lava cake! Everything was delicious, and my steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you, Jeff and Roger, for a wonderful experience!

   Pleasant atmosphere, good service, wonderful food. Made our Valentines Day “date” special. A little pricey- but worth it. A venue that is enjoyable even the ability to talk and be heard to one another.

    Went there and the restaurant it self was nice, got greeted right away and sat down. We had a reservation . Probably need one in the summer since it has great views of the harbor. Food taste was just ok, I got 6 oz filet . That was made great. No complaints there. The vegetables were plain and soggy. I ordered dessert which was chocolate lava cake, which shouldn’t be called Lava cake if no LAVA is present. It just tasted like a plain chocolate cake with no flavor. I feel they should work more on food presentation and flavor. I don’t think I’ll be back again.

    This restaurant is a gem. Such a pretty setting - we ate dinner fairly early and were able to look out over the marina and lake, with beautiful hues of blue. If you eat late, you won't get that vista. The server was outstanding - she came back several times to check on things. The wine choice was meh - every restaurant should serve only the best wine in various price ranges. I ordered the perch and regretted it. They were small pieces and heavily coated with batter, served over a sea of waffle fries. I was able to switch the cole slaw for green beans, which were outstanding with a pleasing amount of garlic. My dining partner had walleye, which was superb. The crab bisque was amazing - I've never had better. Great flavor and lots of crab. For dessert, we chose chocolate mousse and creme brulee. The former was average, the latter was fantastic. We had to ask for bread, which was super delicious. At such an upscale restaurant, they should ask you if you want bread or just bring it to the table. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant and I look forward to returning.

    Because we could not find the restaurant, we were 10 minutes late. Apparently, they gave our table to the couple that walked in immediately before us. So, they tried to seat us at a high top table in the bar area. When I made the reservation, I asked for a low top table. They said they didn't have any left. We are in our 70's and high top tables are not very comfortable for us. My husband asked him to look again and he found a table in a back room. Other than that, the food and service were wonderful.

    The Lake House was an excellent choice for us. We had an outstanding waitress, and a beautiful view of the lake, while eating an absolutely delicious entree of walleye and asparagus. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    My only complaint was that the piped in music was a little loud. I’m sure in a Friday night it’s needs to be that loud to be heard, but not when the restaurant is only 1/3 full.

    Our party of 4 enjoyed outstanding service with Curtis ! We all were 100% happy with his friendly, competent service, and all of our dishes were 100% delicious..a bit pricey, but in keeping with the quality. It was a little bit crowded, but not so noisy that we couldn’t hear our conversation. TV screens, we felt, detracted slightly from the ambiance - not a huge deal, though. Overall: a 5-star dinner!

    We waited a very long time for drinks and even longer for our food. The employees were very nice but not too attentive to their customer’s needs. I ordered the scallop dish because it was recommended. The scallops were sweet like a lot of sugar was added which was not the flavor I was expecting with a spice rubbed scallop. We saw the manager more than our server, I’m not sure if they were working double duty with a big party or if we were just that forgettable. Either way it wasn’t the best dining experience.

    The best sitdown restaurant in the Greater Muskegon area. Food is always good and well portioned . Atmosphere you can't beat,where else can you watch a beautiful sunset over the lake while dining.

    Seems overpriced for what you get. I am willing to pay a bit extra for the view, presentation, and great service (Craig?) but the entrees were good - not great. (Their price suggests “great”)

    Beautiful place, but the sun was blinding coming through the windows. It has such a great view, but we both had to change seats and face the wall. Curtis was an awesome waiter! Very informative and attentive. The food was delicious!

    Nice and quiet. Not real busy but picked up as evening wore on. Good food and good service. Reservations online would only allow us a high top table but when we arrived the place was almost empty. Gave us a regular table for six which was great.

    Started strong, then when the entrees came it was awful and over cooked. Service was not good, server never came back for drinks or when our food came to us till after 10-15 mins. Manager never came out, and was not offer to have our dishes remade. Wouldn’t go back.
