   We had never been there before and didn’t have any expectations. We can’t wait to go back!! Tim was amazing and the food had me doing my “yummy food” dance. The chef(s) killed it, our meals were perfectly cooked and delicious.

   This is the second time to The Lake House. The food, wine, services was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed looking out at the water while experiencing fine dining at its best. Wonderful experience and looking forward to a return visit.

   My Malbec wine had several chunks in it, server chose a replacement for me which was a rose’. Would’ve preferred to choose my own replacement but figured she was probably comping me for it. Nope, not only did she choose my replacement wine, she also charged me $13 for it.

   There were four of us for dinner and two had salads and two had sandwiches. We all enjoyed the food. The steak on my salad was done as I requested(medium rare) and my husband’s fries were crispy and delicious. My martini was good and The Lake House has a great wine list. One of our favorite places in Muskegon especially in the summer when you have a beautiful view of the lake

   Excellent Mother's Day brunch. Amazing hospitality, friendly service and staff. I was really impressed and will go again for Father's Day. The outside seating is amazing as well for a great evening sunset and dinner.

    Service was slower than previously. Looked like more wait staff might have helped. Fewer, smaller scallops, less salad, more rice in a dish I had ordered in the past.

    MArtinis were good but not cold. Ice requested and it made all the difference. Burger was tasty. Pork porterhouse, slightly overdone, but delicious nonetheless.

    Great setting overlooking the lake, while we lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset on a mostly cloudy day. The interior is warm and inviting, cozy on a cold Michigan day. Service was awesome, we didn't feel rushed at all. Food was very good, a bit on the pricey side, but reasonable with the great atmosphere and service.

    Medium Rare 6 oz Prime fillet Mignon was done medium well, and seemed more like 5 oz. My bad, I didn't say anything when asked. We had a show to make and didn't have the time to re-do my meal.

    Reservation was for 5, but we were crowded at a high top meant for 4 next to the bar where people were mingling. Requested alternate seating but we’re told none available. All through dinner we were shifting drinks, appetizer and main dishes asking server to promptly remove used dishes. That said, the menu offers a variety of choices including a nice selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Walleye dinner was excellent, served hot with nice vegetable and rice accompaniment. Fellow diners enjoyed the salmon and steak salad. Server Ben was personable and prompt and tuned into our timeline for getting to the symphony. Next time will call in reservation and be sure not to be seated in the bar area.

    We are in town for just a week and had a free night for dinner so I made reservations (highly recommended) to eat at The Lake House. It was evidently prom night as there were several tables full of teens in their finery so the noise level was probably higher than it would normally be but not annoyingly so. The courses of our meals were well spaced out though some might consider it overly slow but it was fine for us and appreciated so we didn’t feel like we were stuffed. Our server, Curtis, was as nice and attentive as you could hope for and made the meal/experience all the more enjoyable. The food was all delicious and cooked to perfection. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice date night or special occasion meal.

    The service was excellent. The food quality could have been better. The prime rib was salted a bit too much while the shrimp was very bland. And the first Mimosa should be included in the cost.

    The buffet is always amazing, beautiful & the choices are delightful. The only thing is I wish the entree’s were hotter, temperature that is. Other than that, always a wonderful place to spend the day with my family.

    Easter Brunch! This was the best brunch we ever had in over four continents. This will be our new family Easter tradition. Church and The Lake House! The staff was SO kind. It was kid friendly with Easter Eggs scattered about with coupons and candy. The food stations were delicious. That shrimp and oyster bar - WOW! Their pineapple mimosas were the best!     Pastry’s were still very cold (as if from freezer) and selections limited. Salad choices/vegetable trays were very good and enjoyed the variety. Meats good, prime rib bland but rareness perfect. Shrimp and mussels very good as was cocktail sauce. Not very spicy but that is how I prefer. Would have like an omelet choice, but as the cost was very reasonable I understand why it may have not been included. Overall my family enjoyed and the 5y/o especially loved the Easter Bunny eggs!!!

    Our server was great! We were able to taste a wine before ordering a bottle which helped us- very nice wine list from Caymus to Sonoma Coutrer and many more but next time we want to try their fun cocktails. Snapper was perfect, My wedge was delicious and the add on protein perfectly prepared. We really enjoyed ourselves!. Great view of the water-very nice service!

    The restaurant was fairly loud due to various tables. The snapper tasted like rubber so I sent the meal back. The sides were not hot as well. The only plus was the serving staff and the view.

    Delighted by our dining experience, from the warm welcome at the door and the heartfelt good evening as we left. In between, we were attended to without hovering, food was delicious and fairly priced. Enjoyed and view and the ease of conversation, as background noise is limited.     A somewhat nice experience (shorted my hubby on his perch) until I asked for Creme brulee for dessert. We were there for our anniversary dinner and we usually like to share a creme brulee for dessert. It's something special we only do on our anniversary day. We were told "Sorry, we only have 15 and they're for a party coming in later." What? WHY did he have to tell us that?? It would have been better if he just said they didn't have any. We were in there early (5pm), you're a restaurant, you didn't have time to make more? Made our celebration end on a bad note.
