When you take a look at the Lake House, this becomes abundantly clear (our location on the marina is no accident). Naturally, we have gorgeous views of the lake. And when the weather is good and enticing, we have an ample bar and deck outside where you can enjoy the breeze - and shoot the breeze with an al fresco lunch or dinner. We’ve even built this attitude into our bar: while it starts out inside, it ends up outside closer to the water. Come see for yourself.

    Not a big restaurant which is a bonus in my book. It has a very good vibe being right on the water. Friendly staff would have gotten 5 stars but our waitress was new and made a few mistakes. The food and drinks were excellent.

    The choices were outstanding. And the food very good. The prime rib was a little underdone. I understand adding gratuity in but I would prefer to set my own amount based on my service.

    Have been attending thanksgiving buffet for years. Every year the quality has declined. Sadly this will be our last time attending. Food was mediocre at best.

    Service, food and presentation is outstanding! We will definitely try to return next year for Thanksgiving. Riley is the example of the perfect server. Rebekah is a very talented and knowledgable bartender. All the employees act as a well trained, unified group. Each one constantly looking for a customer or coworker to help or for something that needs to be done. Very well managed. It was a great afternoon. Thanks to all!

    I was greeted graciously upon entering and my husband and I were ushered to our table where upon our server immediately introduced herself and took our drink orders while we waited for the rest of our party. We had several servers who were extremely attentive in refilling water, removing empty plates and checking if more drink orders were needed. They did so nonchalantly without interrupting our table conversation. Exceedingly professional! The food was exceptional! Choices included a variety of breads, fruits, pork, beef with au jus, turkey and gravy, variety of potatoes and fancy vegetables, presented delectably which added to the enjoyment of the meal. Desserts offered a variety of cheese cakes, pies and cakes. The noise level was minimal. Can’t say enough positives about the Thanksgiving buffet. We will be back next year!

    Thanksgiving buffet was so good! Very impressive food section, everything was hot, full and great quality! The staff was upbeat, very nice and attentive! I'd give 6 stars if I could!

    The best Thanksgiving buffet by far! The food was outstanding, an incredible variety to choose from. I only wish I could have had a little doggie bag!! New idea…fill a small to go container for $20!! The staff were all so very friendly. Never had to ask for anything, refills magically appeared, dirty plates quickly disappeared. Thank you all for spending your holiday with us.

    Our food was delicious and our server was accommodating. The view out the window was very pleasing too. It was very noisy and we had a hard time conversing. Perhaps a night other than Friday would be whiter.

    We haven’t been here in years. We were going to a production down town so we decided to eat here. It was an excellent choice . Beautiful view and very good food and service!!!

    It's a beautiful view and we enjoyed our food and drinks . The scallops and pumpkin risotto, as well as the walleye were fabulous. There was just a cool draft by our table that made it chilly. We will definitely be returning!

    We love to dine here when visiting from Chicago— about once a month or so. We always enjoy what The Lake House has to offer and this time was no exception! We requested Kodi and she was amazing as always! She always knows just what we want and is so considerate, right down to making sure our food is packed in sturdier boxes as we have a 3 hour drive home. This time we checked out the new Fall menu and ordered the beef short ribs and the seasonal risotto! Both were excellent and the Michigan cherry chocolate martini was on point, too! We will continue to frequent this place when in town.

    My wife and I always wanted to have dinner here. Finally, we've gotten the chance and we had a great time. We even got a free dessert which was amazing and well appreciated. It was a little noisy because of homecoming, but it happens. Overall, the food was good, the energy was good, a great experience, service was good. We'll be coming back for sure.

    We had a reservation and we were a few minutes late. No problem! A table with a view was waiting for us. Even though they were quite busy, we felt Brandon was quite attentive. The buffalo Brussel sprouts were a bit too spicy for my taste but my husband loved them. The perch was served over sweet potato waffle fries that were cooked to perfection. When I requested Carmel sauce, Brandon did not hesitate and brought it right over. Everything was perfect!

    One of our go to restaurants in the Muskegon area. Love there steaks and salads. Desserts are always delicious and seasonal. The bar has mixology to appeal to all of your senses. And can’t beat the sunsets here from their patio or a window seat.

    Great meal. Relaxing, good cocktails, & the menu was interesting. My baramundi was cooked perfectly and my husbands java scallops were delicious. We felt the food was priced fairly. Staff were great as well.

    Arrived at 11:30 with a reservation. At 12:45 we still had not been served. 3 tables arrived after us, a table to 4, 2 and 10 it so. Tgey were served and had nearly finished eatinv befire we were served. No explaination from waitress, manager never came to check out what was happening with our order or apologize for the ridiculous wait. Wont be back.

    We love to dine here when we visit from Chicago! We were sat by the window in a cozy booth with a view of the lake. The food here is always amazing! We had the peach and brie crostini, pasta with chicken, and sweet pea risotto this time. In the past we’ve had steaks and scallops and those were both great, too! Our server Kodi was AMAZING and so kind and helpful! We loved all of her input about the menu items and she was very attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely ask for her next time!

    It was my first visit to the Lake House, and I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic. Our server, Brad, was so attentive and helpful with decision-making. He never rushed us for anything, but was always on hand when we needed him. The menu was varied. The prices were reasonable. I am already looking forward to coming back.

    Our first time here. Nice location. Server was great but seemed like she had too many tables. Food was tasty as were the drinks. A little too expensive tho. The food wasn't THAT good. Ambience was nothing special inside and didn't justify the overall cost. Will we go back? Maybe. We live in Holland so overall value may not warrant another visit.

    I thought the Walleye would've been more crispy but it was very good flavor wise. Crab cakes were close to the best I've had. I lived in Florida for 30 years and have had them alot so..kudos
