   Food was great! Service was excellent! I’m 74-yo, and because noise level was very loud, my friend and I had to shout at each other across the table to carry on a conversation. ☹️ Would go back if it weren’t so noisy. Would recommend this place with the caution re noise level.

   We’ve always wanted to eat there so when Mom suggested it for Mothers Day brunch we were excited! The servers and staff are polite and tentative, so tentative that when my wife couldn’t eat her undercooked, overeggy French Toast our server knew exactly why. She said she wants to try it but whenever she serves it, it doesn’t look good. I had the shrimp po boy, it tasted good but could’ve definitely had more than four shrimp. Mom got the pasta which presented the best of the three entrees, she said it was very tasty and ate the entire plate. We may try again, for dinner next time.

   Our server had a great personality and we liked him a lot! We did not have to wait long for our food, and everything was delicious. The clam chowder is their specialty. I felt it needed more seasoning (a very easy fix), but besides that it was excellent! Everyone at my table was served their main entree and it wasn’t until 10 minutes later, I assume they missed making my dinner. It was prepared as quickly as possible, I received a lot of apologies, and they took my meal off of my bill. Mistakes happen and I certainly wouldn’t hold that against this restaurant. Everything else was on point. We most definitely plan on returning. I’m especially looking forward to their outside patio once weather permits!

   We met family for the Sunday brunch. Service overall was good; our server was friendly and attentive, yet not 'pushy'. The space felt pretty cramped, with not much room between tables. While the live music could be a nice touch, we found ourselves having to speak louder than normal during our conversation. Honestly, not what we were expecting on a Sunday morning. The menu had some nice options, but we found our meals to be average, at best. This place could be good during the warmer weather, to stop in for a drink and enjoy the view from the patio. Not somewhere we are going to rush back to anytime soon.

    Great place with excellent service and the view is spectacular. I recommend this as a place for folks to enjoy an evening out any day of the week. I haven't done trivia night, yet, but hope to make it there for that soon. Interesting menu and best wine list in the area.

    We have passed this restaurant dozens of times, but usually not at meal times, so we made a reservation to go there on purpose. It was very good in all aspects. Kim B was accomodating, friendly and accurate. We'll come again.

    Mandy, our server was great! For our group of 8 the service was fast, she was friendly and efficient. She automatically split all the checks and got them right the first time! We tried several appetizers and dinners and they were all delicious. The drink menu is fun. Two of us were raised in New England as seafood snobs and the clam chowder was full of clams and one of the best they ever had. We can’t wait to go back-and the view of the lake is perfect.

    My first visit to the restaurant. Both my daughter and I had NY Strips and the food was prepared wonderfully. The service was fantastic and vey attentive. My daughter is on the Kent State Gymnastic team and the girls had eaten there before. We will be back

    From start to finish it was bad. The potatoes were boiled and constituted most of the food on the plate. The corn and zucchini were hard to find and just boiled. The appetizer arrived in the middle of the meal with the salad after I asked for it. The corn/crab appetizer was like glue. The sauce for the appetizer and tarter sauce tasted like mayo. When I expressed my disappointment to the waitress, she made no attempt to remedy it.

    First time there, food was excellent! Best clam chowder I have ever had! Just as good as being in New England! We sat at bar and Becky took care of us, shes the best! We ordered a few different drinks and all were VERY good, crafted with care. We feel like we found a hidden gem :) The views are beautiful also. Cant wait for summer!     Was an enjoyable first visit for us as we arrived on time for our Friday evening reservation we were joyfully greeted and seated. within a minute or two we were greeted by a server with water & menus informing us our server would be right back. The overall service was better than ever expected in the post Covid era, even better than expected prior to Covid! The appetizer was the Clam Chowder which was not to our expectation and was gladly removed, too many vegetables and too thick. On to the entrees of Cod and the Mahi Mahi we each shared our entrees. The Cod dinner was with fries, coleslaw, hush puppies was perfectly cooked, but by my disliking the batter was a bit heavy but not out of normal, I'd rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. The Mahi Mahi didn't fair so well as the fish was way over salted and the flavor was bland, having to rate this a 3 out 5 stars. The prices were in the inflationary zone of being slightly high. Overall this is one special place to enjoy a night out with friends and/or family but remember to make a reservation. As far as returning I can say it will be soon and often for this top notch establishment.

    Good service but the food was lacking. The (2) appetizers were over cooked and tasteless. I had the tacos, the shells were tough ( maybe old) and the cod/slaw mix was lackluster. The chips were really sad, small broken pieces, must have been the bottom of the bag? My wife had the fish& chips which were ok but way too much coating on the fish. Overall, disappointing, won’t be back.

    Warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff that waited on us could not have been more pleasant and helpful. This was our first visit here and we loved the food, the variety on the menu, and are already planning our next visit for dinner out. Can’t wait to sit on the patio.

    Rebecca, our server, was great. Our foursome had fish and chips, shrimp po boy, Caesar salad and the delicious soup of the day. EH Taylor bourbon was an unexpected treat too, served neat in a chilled martinis glass. Wish it was easier to get in…. We’d be there every Friday!

    Went here for my mother in law’s birthday dinner. Service was prompt and drinks came fast. Peel and eat shrimp were great for an appetizer. As for the main dishes, we were disappointed. My wife and her mother ordered the NY strip cooked medium. They came out over cooked (no pink at all) and couldn’t taste the seasoning. I had the walleye seeing that they specialized in this area I too was disappointed. The fish was over cooked as well and not seasoned properly. The beet salad with walnuts was good but sparse in size. We didn’t know there were specials that evening until we over heard our server telling them to a different table after we ordered our mains. There is some work that needs to be done at this new restaurant to make it a recommendable choice for others.
