The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was farm fresh and delicious. While the menu was limited, we would definitely go back for lunch to enjoy the relaxing ambiance and amazing views.

Beautiful ambience, killer pigs in a blanket, great view -- somewhat pricey, but lovely for special occasions.

The quality of food and service nowhere nearly matches the beauty of the setting. So sad to see what should be a lovely dining experience fall so short of expectations. Service was so bad, noise levels so high that we walked out. (We were outside and could barely hear ourselves talk because the noise inside was so loud; also horrible play list. I love Janice Joplin but not for a high end dinner at a five-star hotel). Third time there, as we wanted to give them a chance to get their balance after opening in October 2024. But underwhelming each time; the last was so uncomfortable that we left, after having waited an hour and having only been served a glass of water. (We had a reservation for 8. Left at 9 and had to wait another 15 minutes for our car.) Didn’t bother to wait to be further disappointed by the food.

This is an absolutely stunning location on top of a hill in the newly opened Pendry hotel. Restaurant ambience is great as well. The food is good quality but nothing to write home about. Extremely limited menu with just 6 entrees is disappointing. However the worst part of this place is the service. I have been there 2 times now once when it opened and once yesterday. Firstly we were made to wait 35 minutes before we got a table even though we had a reservation. Secondly the service was terribly slow. It took almost 3 hours for our meal to be done with long periods where no one came to check on us or clear our appetizer dishes. The waiters were very apologetic and it’s not their fault. They acknowledged others have also complained. The management leadership needs to be replaced for failure to get this right as they are doing such a horrible job. It’s so sad as this place has everything going for it and could be a top rated Michelin star restaurant in New Jersey. Hope they fix it!

Great views and beautiful hotel. Our fav place around. Never too busy, but Clare the hostess needs to be let go due to her inability to read people' and sit where they want when it's not a full house. She would be better off at Applebees! Might be a culture thing but a high class place like Ladd's should take this into consideration. The food & service is top notch! We had a mother, son team serving us and they were great and very attentive. Menu should expand for dinner choices as your best bet is lunch menu to have more choices. One thing I would also fix is one of the young valet drivers is a smoker and when we got into our car after he pulled around smelled like a cigarette! That is not acceptable!! If this place is going to get more and more popular you need to have good employees and right now that is the only downside.

Ladd's was a pleasant experience. We went last night for our anniversary. It was a bit different of an experience. Many guests left their seats during their meals to go outside for the view or watch the Kentucky Derby at various times. No one seemed to bat an eye which was unique. Food tasted very well, enjoyed everything. The prices were a bit higher than expected. We consider Ninety Acres the top of the line in restaurants with what comes with the meal and the quality of the food. We were surprised to see the prices at Ladd's to be the same and not as top notch as Ninety Acres. We would still recommend but temper your expectations a bit

Service needs to up their game. Food was good. But not outstanding. Corn bread was basically crumbs and to dry. View is amazing. We will be back again and hopefully they will work the kinks out.

I originally went to make a reservation at 90 Acres for my husband and my anniversary dinner last night but they aren't open on Tuesdays.) That was fortunate for us as we were able to discover Ladd's Tavern! We ate outside to enjoy the stunning view. I can only image it being even more breathtaking in the Fall when the leaves are brightly colored! We were greeted warmly by the host and our server was very friendly and attentive. I had the lamb chop and my husband had the chicken curry dish, both were delicious. I was actually relieved that our server forgot my appetizer as it would have been too much food! The music they played was fantastic! The Pendry Hotel is fabulous to walk through to reach the Tavern. We look forward to returning often.
