Honestly, the best Chowder I had in long time! I brought a friend over from abroad who were visiting me in Drogheda, and I wanted him to try something really traditional, something that tastes like Ireland. So we took a short drive down to Balbriggan to try the seafood chowder at The La-La, and I’m so glad we did. The chowder was really rich, creamy, and full of flavour, with mussels in the shell and lovely chunks of fish. Proper food, done perfectly. We also had some fish and chips, which were crispy and fresh. Already planning a return trip!

Fabulous food. We loved the Seafood Chowder it was delicious and full of fish. The weather was amazing and we stayed until very late in the garden having some beers. It was magical. We will be back soon.

Not my first time to bring a client to The La La for lunch and certainly not the last, I had booked outside and the weather didn’t disappoint. Don’t think there is anywhere so beautiful than the La La gardens on a summers day . I had the Monkfish Scampi which was simply amazing with a light batter I understand is made using a local beer called hope beer. My guest had the Brie Burger which he loved, all washed down with a glass of Rose for my guest and a non alcoholic Peroni for me . The free off street parking is a major plus, well done.

Father's Day BBQ menu was just terrible. Food from the BBQ was not freshly prepared, so it was cold. 28€ for a small plate definitely overpriced.

We made a booking for 1pm on Sun 15th mainly because of the varied menu. On arrival we were told it was a BBQ menu only, this fact was supposedly well advertised. However we decided to stay. It was 40 mins before any food was ready and some I suspect was oven cooked not BBQd. The quality of the food and the presentation were all of a very low standard and certainly no value for money. At 2.20pm the dessert, included in the cost of the meal, was not yet ready. At this point we decided to leave. We were given desserts in an open, uncovered take away box. We were very disappointed in our visit to La La Restaurant it was a Father's Day gift. We will not be returning.

Excellent service , although had to wait a few minutes as they were very busy and our table wasn’t ready. But well worth the wait ,was excellent food, excellent service and atmosphere was amazing, would highly recommend the La La and now know where I am holding my 40th!🎂
