The Korea House
Dolsatbimbop steak extra egg and Boston sushi roll. Phenomenal
The food was amazing. It was super busy as it was Valentines Day but other than waiting a little longer it was outstanding. Will definitely go again.
Good food, great service.
This restaurant was just"meh." I ordered the most popular dinner the Dilsot Bibimbop and it was fine. I have had better at other restaurants. I added in shrimp and a few of them tasted kind of fishy so...hmmm? Our waitress was very sweet and nice but it took forever for our drinks to come (including water) and the restuarant was not full. There were 3 of us and my two friends had to request clean glasses because both water and wine glasses had lipstick all over them. The server was embarassed and replaced them but again - it took a long time to get even the water back. She did take a few dollars off the bill but sorry - I just won't be back. Not a great first impression.
Party of 10 for NYE. Great table at the back. Our server was very friendly but restaurant lacked a bartender (so our server had to do double duty). Food was very good. An enjoyable evening out.
Our first time. Looked at menu and reviews and both looked great. Glad to find a new place to add to my wife and I’s top picks. Food and service were both excellent! Whether you want just want sushi or to try some Korean dishes this is a great place!
Great food and service
The food is actually decent but don’t expect to be welcomed when you walk in...and don’t expect to see the waitresses for a good 20 minutes...food will take 30 minutes to get to you...staff is nice but understaffed...been there a few times...it never got better...will probably find another place to eat Korean
Always pleased with the food and service! We recently had our first bowl and are hooked, so healthy and delicious!!
We had a large group. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
Great food. We are returning to eat there again. Korean food authentic and fresh. Best Korean food with great service.
It is a great place for authentic Korean. The sushi is the freshest you can get in town!
Good prices. Good food. Great service.
Food was spectacular I appreciate d the value and care that went into the preparation!
One of our favorite places.
Good food. Efficient service. Interior could use some updating.
Our server was fabulous! Smiled each visit to the table. Our food came out hot and exactly as ordered.
We live this restaurant. Consistent. Tasty’
My son was in from out of town and isn’t able to get Korean food where he lives. I wanted to bring him here. We started with a Haemul Pajon appetizer. It’s a Korean style pancake. It was really good and had lots of pieces. For the main course my son had Kal-Bi which are beef short ribs Korean style. He ate every bite. I think he would have licked the plate if I would have let him. I had the Bulgogi which is Korean stir-fry chicken. It was very moist and tasty. The spices were good and not too hot. Great dinner!
Four for dinner. Appetizer came out same time as 3 of the meals. The 4th meal was absent for over 20 min. After tacking down the waitress that never stopped by to see if we needed anything, including drinks. She went to check. She stated the kitchen had forgotten to prepare the 4th meal.
Everyone one else was finished when the 4th meal came out. Still the waitress never came by to check or ask if we needed more drinks.
Looking around the restaurant it seemed things were moving slowly all around.
Wonderful food! Great service, good atmosphere. we really enjoyed it and will be back
Year after year great place for a family dinner and really good food
We have been there several time and love the food. Service was good and friendly. Gave good suggestions.
Like this place. Consistently good food. They have a nice selection of items. Take my family there & even the 2 year old can find something to eat.
Overall, I feel Korea House is average; the food is not as authentic and seems to have been catered to please a bland palette at times when American tastes crave authenticity and bold flavors. Our server was friendly; however, the kitchen may not be as efficient in delivering food orders. The restaurant is good for everyday dining but the prices are not affordable for everyday dining... Not the best value for money.
Food and service excellent!
We have been here before & like the food. Sushi & other food give a lot of choices. Even our 2 year old grandson liked the food.
Frequent visitor but lately disappointed with sides. Only one set of sides for party of 7 all eating entrees and server acts upset when you ask for additional. (Literally less than one potato cube or kimchi per person). In the past more sides given to large parties. Also had to refill our own water glasses with pitcher on counter and paid for a coke but only got one refill in 2 + hours.
We ordered sushi as we have always ordered for 10 years we have been going there and were informed we would have an up charge for a small piece of cream cheese in our cucumber roll. It was a bit of an annoyance to be told this.
Not sure if the cheapness is coming from a financial issue with this location, but in this area of town no one wants to be nitpicked on things like this.
As always we will continue to dine here because we don’t have another Korean place in the area, but we don’t do it as frequently as we used to.
This was a graduation dinner. We did advise of that on reservation but no one seemed to notice.
Great experience. Best Korean place around!
We go there a lot! The food and service is very good!
This is an easy restaurant to enjoy as it is not overcrowded and the food and service are consistent and good. There is a great variety of interesting cuisine and it provides a good opportunity to discover Korean food.
Great place! Great service, great food, if you are new to Korean food the staff will gladly help and give recommendations! Amazing sushi!
Great food. Family owned. But expensive. Lunch time prices are definitely the way to experience Korea House.
Always a pleasure to eat here. And half price sushi night was a hit with our guests from the west coast.
Overall the experience at the Korea House was disappointing. The food was mediocre as was the service. There was nothing memorable about the dinner at all.
Outstanding service. Try the papaya tea - it was outstanding. We started with sushi. There are so many choices. We picked 2. Lots of vegetarian options - the waitress gave great recommendations for me. This was our second time there and everything has always been perfect. My husband had the beef - and it was perfect. He couldn't stop enjoying the meal. We enjoyed our meal and never felt rushed even though the restaurant was packed. Highly recommend for dinner! - no room for dessert.
The food is very good. The dish I ordered is in a bowl for lunch so the rice gets crispy but for dinner, the main dish and the rice are separate. I prefer the lunch version.
The food was tasteless and the service was bad. I have been coming occasionally over the last 7 years. I notice that the quality has gone down lately.
First and 2nd timers at The Korea House, including one person formerly from Korea. Enjoyed our experience and the food! Truly appreciated having the small tastes to accompany our meals. Highlights also included the ginger tea (both hot and cold) and the plum tea.
We showed up with a party of 7, most of which were family from out of town, for our 6:45 reservation. When given that info, along with the proof of confirmation on my phone, we were rudely told that we didn't have a reservation in their system and that the wait would be well over an hour! There were plenty of tables open on the right side of the resturaunt but the young lady, who acted like she was in charge, didn't even bother to offer one. I'm in the customer service industry and I'm still amazed at the way we were treated. We were all looking forward to eating there and the food being prepared looked and smelled great! Thankfully we were able to drive 2 miles down the road and enjoy a wonderful meal at Ipho, without a reservation....
We drove 45 minutes to try this restaurant due to such excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic for our group of 5 (one senior, two adults, two kids). Service was excellent. Portion sizes were outstanding. There is something on the menu for all tastes. Price was certainly reasonable.
