My family came into town to visit and the Kitchen is our go to stop for guests! We are never disappointed with a meal here. Our server, Riley, was over the top incredible! We cannot wait to come back, and we will be back soon!
Fantastic service from a wait staff that knows the menu very well. Food was hot and excellent. Portions were smaller than average by American standards.
Whenever I'm in Denver, I try to go to the Kitchen. The offerings are eclectic and always fresh. This visit, I had a Mediterranean fish that was excellent. The waitress was friendly and professional as well as knowledgeable. This is a consistently excellent spot for dinner or lunch. The wine list is very good. Maureen was our wait person.
Sat at the bar, wine, three courses of food and out in 45 minutes. Server had no clue, entree was cold. Not quite sure how that happens when they are removing one course with left hand and serving next with right. Highly recommended to me, but I wouldn’t do the same. Server realized he messed up and corrected the situation by further ignoring us. Will not go back or recommend.
Excellent in every way. The best in Denver. LoDo is better than Boulder location, in my opinion.
Nice modern vibe on the Denver pedestrian street. Good happy hour specials. Seating was a bit cramped; I was seated next to a larger work group and it was a tight fit. There were other seats farther away where they could have sat us. Also, the server didn't know about whether peppers or chilis where in a dish. They were definitely present and I left them behind; often this ruins the entire dish for me. Happy hour wine was a good value
I took a favorite client here and we enjoyed a Great business lunch. Service was on point. Mushroom toast was delicious but could have added salmon or chicken to round it out.
We had a great dinner. Excellent selection of entries. Service was good. Attentive but not over barring. This was the third time we have eaten there and have always been happy
The Kitchen is one of our favorite spots for dinner! The food and service are amazing. The only damper on the evening was a large party that arrived halfway through with a toddler who was not as excited to be there and screamed nonstop until they took him outside.
So disappointed. This has been my go-to restaurant for business meals but the last few times have consistently been disappointing. $44 (included a modest tip) for 2 guests who only had regular coffee, a cup of tomato soup, a small and burned squash bruschetta and a beet salad. My business guest was kind and did not take my offer of any of the bruschetta since it was so small. Then I discovered that most of the bread was burned. I mentioned it to the waiter and he apologized that it was a little over done. I'll find a new restaurant for business clients.
This was our first time to visit this amazing restaurant and we will be back. The food and service was excellent. If you have a chance, get a table near the kitchen so you can watch all of the action. We really enjoyed it.
Food was delicious and I would highly recommend. Our server was really awkward and seemed to be training someone, but that was never explained. They kept both stopping by our table and asking the same questions.
The food is very good and prepared with tasty combinations presented quite beautifully. However, the portions for the entrees are VERY small for the price. They do better with the appetizer portions.
Superb food, experience and value.
I was passing through town, The Kitchen was recommended by a friend. I am passing through again soon and won’t miss the chance to dine there again.
Accessible, comfortable and a jewel.
Dinner with parents. Riley was the bomb as was everything. Pace was perfect. Riley's recooendations were spot on. Looking forward to my next visit.
Nice options with creative fresh food selections on the menu.
The halibut was tender, moist, and delicious.
Seating is a little crowded if placed at a table in the center of the room.
Request something by the window or on the patio.
On the recommendation of a friend, I brought my brother here for his birthday dinner. The decor is beautiful, what I'd call industrial chic. We sat on the patio to enjoy one of the last summer evenings and received impeccable service from Jordan (might have the name wrong as it's been a few days but I know for sure it starts with a J). The food was fresh and delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Pace yourself because you'll want to order the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, it's mouth watering delicious! We will definitely be back.
Mediocre food and service. Steak and pork chop dry and the service slow. Won't be back. And won't recommend. Wasn't very busy for the slow service.
Food was excellent at every course. Superb preparation and good value for the money
Our server was absolutely superb. She was super- professional and attentive, even though our table was outside, as far from the door as we could be. The food was eclectic, interesting, and very fresh. Most interesting was the S'mores Semifreddo dessert: the marshmallow was burnt super sweet semi-ice cream, and the chocolate was more of a semi-sweet mousse, with sprinkled grahams. Mixed together they were the perfect S'mores (read super-yummy), but it was not a true semi-freddo. We ate every bite, however.
Overall this was a wonderful restaurant! We will be back.
Kitchen is Perfect. Creative fun decor, great food, professional employees. A wonderful dining experience all around.
Had the seared halibut and the artichoke capellini and both were great. Would also highly recommend the strawberry cobbler! Nice place for a birthday dinner.
The good food almost made up for the awful service.
Highly recommend The Kitchen. Food is very high quality, organic, and local. What a great find. I will be back!!!
Fantastic! As soon as we were seated we received two glasses of champagne because it was my birthday. Halibut amazing!! Service fabulous! Too full for dessert but they brought us complimentary toffee. It was so delicious!
Early reservation before heading over to the game. The Kitchen was on it! Food was innovative and full of bold flavor. Elizabeth talked us through the wine, and we settled on a bottle that I would not of otherwise chosen. It was superb! They handle the 'pace' of the meal really well: plenty of time to savor the food, a brief respite to catch your breath and discuss, and then on to the next course right as we were ready. We've been many times to The Kitchen in Boulder and also up in Ft. Collin's. LoDo version wins the prize...!
Decent, nothing spectacular. Would eat there again.
Wonderful, food was fantastic. Service was great.
Exceptional food and service. We sat outside and it was lovely with the umbrellas. Service was attentive and AJ made great recommendations. He knew a lot about the menu and was a pleasure to speak with. We really enjoyed our special day downtown and made our show at the performing arts center in plenty of time.
Love this place. Be sure to get the Strawberry Cobbler for desert.
Uniformly positive experience at the Kitchen. Wait staff were clearly very busy but they never showed that to us... always helpful, friendly and never rushed when they came to our table. Distinctive and pleasing cocktails. Beet appetizer with mint and cilantro was a tasty first course and beautifully presented. Lamb kebabs were perfectly done. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and experience. Recommended.
The food is always amazing here. Their fries and bolognese are two of my favorites!
While visiting Denver recently we decided to try The Kitchen for its farm to table cuisine. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the vibrant scene. Close to the station and baseball stadium, great area for walking before/after dinner.
Great food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, great location.
We were looking for a place to eat in Denver after arriving late in the day. The restaurant was very accommodating. The food was great! Drinks were substantial and creative. Appetizers to dessert all beautiful and tasty.
Great first time here! Loved the food and drinks! Very $$ but highly worth the price! Great country hipster vibe too! Very highly recommended!
Farm to table is taken seriously by this chef -- manager was very accommodating when we were unhappy with the table that we were seated at
We had the pleasure of dining at The Kitchen on Thursday evening , August 10th with friends to celebrate their martiage in April! We had a Fantastic server, Linda!! Besides the delicious Colorado lamb chop special and the fabulous beer salad , she was the reason we had the spectacular dinner we had!! Linda knew about everything on the menu, was gracious with the time between courses AND was so considerate of our friends celebration!
The good, atmosphere and staff were magnificent!!! It was our first time in the Denver area and we will recommend it to everyone planning on visiting downtown Denver!!!
Lou and Marianne Cohen
Love the hip yet comfortable vibe. We ordered starters and snacks with cocktails and all were delicious! Our server was very helpful and attentive and friendly
