The gnocchi were amazing. And the pizzelle dessert was great too
Everything is sooooooooo good
This was my first time here. I had heard how amazing it was so when my boss/friend wanted to take me out for my birthday dinner, I suggested this restaurant. It was very friendly but looked refined. We were seated at a table by the window for people watching. The service was great. We met the maker of the delicious and amazing desserts. She was soooo friendly. We met the owner and he made us feel as though we were in his home. It's BYOB. I had the Seafood Cioppino. It was divine! Scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels in a white sauce on homemade linguini. OMG! The pasta was DELICIOUS! Everything was delicious. The chicken dish my friend ordered was tender and perfectly seasoned. I have been talking about The Kitchen Consigliere since we were there. I highly recommend The Kitchen Consigliere!
A delicious meal as always and the wait staff very efficient and pleasant. By far this is my favorite restaurant for a delicious meal.
Food was really good, a few different unique dishes unlike your typical menu. Sausage meatball with gemelli was fantastic, again not something you typically see, and my wife enjoyed the homemade gnocchi with ricotta. Being a BYOB is a nice option too!!!
Love the food. Great service! The chef even came out to talk to us.
First time visiting and will be back. Delicious food and great service!
We've been here many times. We brought friends for their first visit. They loved the food, from appetizer to dessert. Excellent Italian food.
Debbie was fabulous!!
Shelly too and Angelo and the kitchen were on point!
We had a party of 9 and ordered Appetizers os Calamari- Chicken Meatballs- Arancini - Salads - all fabulous!!
Meals were phenomenal!!
Gnocchi was the favorite- along with the Lobster Ravioli and Sunday Dinner!
Desserts were very tasty - Brokie and Panini- Cannolis and Choc Cake - and the special - Orange Creamsicle Cake
We cannot wait to go back!!
We came all the way from King of Prussia PA on a recommendation from a friend and also my Dad- who is there regularly with his Alph Phi Delta brothers!
PS - Art work is so fun too!!
First time here celebrating our anniversary. Food was excellent, service outstanding, and we met two nice couples that were dining next to & near us. We will definitely be back.
Great service. Delicious food. It was a busy Saturday night but we had a reservation and they seated us right away.
Very good. We will go back
Awesome food and great service. Highly recommend!!!!
We love Kitchen Consigliere, even though it is not real close to where we live, the drive is well worth the visit!
Exceeded our expectations, everyone was very pleased with their meal !!!
Sat immediately upon arrival (with our reservation). All four of our meals were excellent.
Our waiter (John) was very unattentive. All he did was take our order. Did not come back to ask if everything was ok. Had runners bring us our food, while he busied himself falling all over what seemed to be regulars. We waited for ever for him to bring us the bill and only brought it over after we flagged one of the runners over to ask for it. Then he made us wait again to collect the bill. We seemed to be unimportant to him. Tip for servers that act that way: treat everyone the same. You never know who else wil become regulars!
Fabulous great dinner with great friends always great service and wonderful food at the kitchen consigliere
Need to have strawberry shortcake always on dessert menu
We enjoy this restaurant because the food is consistently great. The staff, especially John, are very friendly and do a great job. The weekly specials give you an opportunity to try the different dishes..... a great value, just wish they would be posted the day before so you can make plans earlier . Get on the email list to be a part of this. We love this place and you will too!
Great experience as always. Staff is courteous and helpful and the food is excellent!
Food was bangin.
My wife and I were late in discovering this restaurant and we love it. This was our fourth visit we made our reservation last minute but were lucky and got one at 4:30. Walk in the door and Boom you’re greeted by the hostess with a smile that could light up a room. The smile and the greeting are so genuine you find yourself asking your wife once you’re seated, “Do we know her?” That hostess, whatever she makes should be doubled, because she sets the tone for the entire meal. In this day and age where places don’t take reservations and the hostess is a college or high school kid that hands you a pager, to be greeted the way she does is amazing. Our server was a lovely young lady. She was knowledgeable and attentive and incredibly professional. Again, she smiled every time she spoke with us. When she spoke you could hear the smile in her voice. We had one of the appetizer specials which was amazing and I had the gnocchi’s in a rose sauce. They were disappointing and I would not recommend them. They were bland and lacking flavor and just a bad choice by me. We wrapped up the meal with a cannoli so I was smiling again. This is a restaurant with great atmosphere and great food, but to be honest there are plenty of those around. What makes this place so special, are the people that work there. Every person you come into contact with is neatly dressed, professional and polite and smiling. It is obvious they enjoy what they are doing and they take a tremendous amount of pride in their restaurant. No matter how you were when you entered you will definitely leave “fat and happy!”
It was noisy at the restaurant. I felt like I was sitting to close to the other table. It was cold and the food was just OK. I also think the food is over priced. Maybe if I ordered another dish I would have a different review.
Angelo comes through once again! Party of four, I enjoyed my pork shank & rigatoni special so much that I didn't pay attention to what the others had, but my wife, who always does a take-home, didn't this time since she finished the whole thing. I, on the other hand, rarely take anything home but the portion was enough to fill me and leave enough for lunch at home the next day. a big shout-out to Candy our server. Simply the Best!
As always, a delicious meal. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. First time having the Sunday Gravy. Won't be the last.
It was very busy tonight. There was a very large party next to us, So it was noisier than usual. Still a favorite.
Tried to go here. Had a 4:00 PM reservation.
We arrived early. Tried to get in at 3:50 PM.
The door was locked. We sat in the car and went back at 4:05 for our
4:00 reservation. The door was still locked. Lady at the hostess would not let us in.
Left and ate somewhere else. Don't know if I'll go back.
My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on April 3rd at Kitchen Consigliere. I had the Sunday Gravy which is always superb! Our waiter, Mike, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a great table and service was fantastic!
Great Italian dishes, very good service and knowledgeable staff. Nice location with comfortable atmosphere. We go here every few months on special occasions for satisfying Italian fare. Great place to get a gift certificate for as well.
Love this place. I could eat there 3x a week. It reminds me so much of my mom's cooking. Soooooo good.
I am a multiple repeat visitor (you might say recidivist) to the Kitchen Consigliere. Being Italian, "Restaurant Italian" food is usually a disappointment. That is not the case with this establishment. The food here is so good, that I have returned with different family members and friends and everyone has followed up with return visits on their own. Add to the outstanding food the attraction of the theme, the excellence of the service and friendliness of the staff, and you have a perennial favorite. While the Sunday Gravy entree has been my go to dish, in both the standard and the fra diavolo sauce, I decided to try something different this time. I had the Sausage Bolognese. My decision just got harder. I will definitely order that again. In addition to being so good, the portions are so large we always leave with a take-home box. (And I am not a little eater.) Our waitress, Tiffany, was friendly, attentive and prompt. She could not do enough for us. Angelo, the owner and chef, also stops by the table to chat, making you feel welcome and part of "the family." Kitchen Consigliere remains at the top of my list for Italian Restaurants.
Our servers were helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was served piping hot and simply delicious.
Great dinner as always best eggplant parmigiana around
If I could give half stars the 3’s would be upgraded. It was Parm night - veal, chicken or eggplant according to an email sent to me. But after getting there it was good only for one of us. Should have been for anyone in our party. Even though, we enjoyed our non parm dinners as well. Would not go there just because we had a coupon only. I can eat the veal parm any night. I Had chicken piccata. Desserts were great. There are a lot of good Italian restaurants in Collingswood.
A nice local place to go. Have been there 3 times over the past 3 months with friends.
Just delicious! Chef Angelo works wonders with his old Italian style dishes! This has become our favorite Italian in the area!
We love it here the food our waitress everything is always great!
We really enjoyed our dinner, my boyfriend & I both ordered a veal dish. The meat was very tender n delicious & the desserts were outstanding!!
A second visit and just as delightful as the first. This time it was a ladies night out and we were all treated like princesses. And the food, well the food...Scrumptious. From the Rice Ball appetizer to the different mains. And of course the home made deserts.
