The Kitchen Restaurant at River Cree - as well as Tap25 - has spoiled us for other restaurants. The quality of food in both restaurants is consistently good to excellent. There are numerous deals in both restaurants to encourage frequent attendance. The staff are extremely friendly and seem happy in their work, even when they are running at breakneck speed. We have several favourite staff at both restaurants. We would like to give a particular shout out to Caroline in Tap 25 and Kunal in The Kitchen. By doing, so I am in no way suggesting that the other workers in both restaurants aren’t great, because they are.

I lived in Alberta for almost 15yrs now. So I was intrigued by the food offered by River Cree Casino. You’ll find salad bar followed by the poutine section with all the gravies and toppings you like. After that you see a dish of salmon, then chicken and the roast beef. I booked Saturday evening so the main part of the dish is the roast beef. And that was truly delicious. After that you can chose dumplings and au gratin. You have soup, pasta and deserts. One thing I noticed: they don’t have fried chicken! The food experience was almost perfect. One has to go to Popeyes or KFC to order separately instead of eating it while enjoying the great ambiance of The Kitchen, River Cree Casino. But you don’t have to wait. Book and enjoy the food in River Cree! Thanks to the chef, the team and to the First Nations!!!

The booking was smooth, showed up at 7:30 the table was ready. The dinner put us in a small table that was fit for 2 basically the table was too small for 4. Food was Ok I remembered they were better had more choices like 2 soups. Over all it’s ok nothing special.
