Had dinner there 2 nights before and liked it so much we came back. The acoustic guitarist was great!
The first glance, I was not sure about the atmosphere, but instantly seen the unique setup and fell in love! The food was amazingly good. I was extremely impressed! Highly recommended!
The food was fantastic and the service was great! We always enjoy dining at the Kitchen. See you next time!
Without going into great detail, this was a food experiment that didn’t work so well. I’ll be reviewing it in TripAdvisor in a week.
This chef is a hidden treasure.
Wonderful experience, exquisite flavors of lamb and pan seared salmon dishes, perfect martini, prompt service and easy open table booking. Great addition to Natchez fine dining options.
Great place! Loved the ambience! Really good date nigh place or go alone like I did!!
Loved this place! Great atmosphere and the music was amazing!
Waited 1hr and 15 mins after seated and didn’t have entrees ready. Brought desert before entree. We were a table of two that order 1 shrimp and grits. Seated at 7:15 and at 8:30pm the waitress said the chef was just starting to cook our order. Left without entree and hungry!
The food and atmosphere were fantastic. We enjoyed the piano music and the wait staff were all very professional. We can’t wait to visit again!
Hoping this was
Absolutely delicious dinner!
Great food, great service, great music, highly recommend.
The food was out of this world, great experience with great staff
Enjoyed our drinks and dinner this evening
Out of a few things, time to get main dishes was too long. Service apologized several times. 7:15 reservation stretched to almost 3 hrs because of delay. Food pretty good. Maybe over time it will get better.
Very pretentious, extremely disappointing food. Service was slow and awful. We were brought one small piece of bread to share when we arrived at our table. An hour later, still waiting on our order, we were asked if we'd like more bread. It never came. Our filets were overcooked and frankly, appeared to have been basically boiled in broth. We had ordered the bananas Foster for dessert, but after it never showed up and our server had disappeared, when asked if we were ready for our check, we said "sure, and you can cancel our dessert." This place presented itself as a fine dining establishment, but mediocre (at best) and overpriced food combined with bad service is anything but fine dining.
Lovely! Delightful-delicious food!
This was an interesting spot. It started out rough. The appetizers were "meh' and the crafted cocktail was terrible. However, when we moved to the main courses, they were exquisite. Best shrimp and grits we have ever had. They utilized Miso with some of the standard ingredients and it was devine.
Great food and lively atmosphere. We had the deviled eggs, bbq shrimp, ginger fish, filet and bananas foster dessert and everything was delicious!
Great spot with excellent food and live piano. Limited menu means things are well done. Did think $10 for one and a half deviled eggs was a bit high and should have been warned they hard truffle oil, which is such a strong flavor. Otherwise our entrees (ginger fish) were delicious!
We almost didn't keep our reservations but man are we glad we did! We sat at the bar and had wonderful cocktails and conversation. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the fish. Both were amazing. We shared a Caesar and dessert. Everything was soooo good!
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Atmosphere was very nice and enjoyed the piano music. Food was delicious. Enjoyed our night
We had a wonderful experience here. Our server was so sweet, the meals, including the ginger fish, shrimp and grits and bacon-wrapped dates, were outstanding, and we also loved the live piano player who sang beautifully! Our only complaint was that there was just one dessert choice; otherwise, we loved everything!
Awesome dinner people staff and piano player topped the experience.
This was our second time visiting "The Kitchen" and it was phenomenal both times! I highly recommend.
The Kitchen is a treat for us and our guests!
Went for brunch. They were a little unprepared and it took about 15 minutes after our reservation to get seated and all. Once we were seated and everything it was great
The food was fabulous. Great menu. We enjoyed the cocktails too. Server was knowledgeable and we loved the piano.
Honestly we have talked about our dining experience last night at the Kitchen Bistro & Piano Bar. We’ were there for our 48th Anniversary. From the service provided by the most engaging waitress Shirley to the ambience of the fabulous piano player to the wonderful meal, we could not have wished for anything better. As a matter of fact, I’m trying to find out if it is possible to get the recipe for the grilled chicken dinner I had!!
Great food, great service! The piano player was excellent! We will definitely eat there on our next trip to Natchez!
Great ambiance also!!
Wonderful meal, unique and delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. This restaurant is my new favorite.
Super cute space with great food and friendly service. Amazing shrimp and grits!
Absolutely great food
Visiting and wanted a special dining experience. The Kitchen hit on all cylinders! Great, unique food offerings with excellent service.
A culinary jewel in Natchez, MS! Creative& delicious take on traditional Southern cuisine. Cocktails were equally exceptional. The additional music of the piano was just the cherry on top.
Neat venue with good vibe! Food was wonderful! Enjoyed our time there! Would recommend it!
Sunday brunch is usually always a pleasant event, but brunching here at The Kitchen Bistro & Piano Bar was surely a surprise! It's been a few years since my husband and I have visited Natchez. I wanted to choose a place that had great reviews and offered not your usual brunch fare. After doing some research, I made a reservation for this past Sunday.
We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately by Jessica (who I later discovered is co-owner with her husband/chef Josh Harmon). The menu offered such unique twists to the standard brunch dishes...so much so that we couldn't narrow it down to two, so we ordered three entrees! My husband has a bit of a sweet tooth, so the churro waffles with maple cream cheese and blueberries was a must. My eye went to the boudin benedict with toasted brioche and topped with Crab Ponchatrain. But then there was the gulf shrimp & grits served with a sunny-side up egg, Worcestershire butter, smoked tomatoes and sausage - YUM!! Everything was amazing and service was spot-on as well. The atmosphere here is very comfortable and we found the seating to be quite cozy as well. Though there's only piano performers here on Friday and Saturday nights, there was jazz music playing during brunch which added to the experience. To be honest, we now look forward to coming back for a visit on a Friday or Saturday evening. We chatted with Chef Josh and his wife on our way out and expressed our delight in finding them and told them we'll definitely be back!
