Food menu differed from what was advertised online, no sea bass option on what was already a reduced menu. Ambience and setting beautiful and recommended
Elegantly cooked food in what must be one of the most beautiful settings I have ever eaten in.
Lovely environment, interesting menu, pleasant staff. A shame the shop has closed!
Amazing location and great food to match
Great spot, wonderful views, beautiful setting! Little disappointed in the menu selection, not a wide selection of the simplest of things!
Such a good atmosphere, amazing food and wonderful staff. All complimented by a beautiful location.
A wonderful dining experience in every way. Highly reccommend, produce is always fresh and locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The service has always been outstanding.
Lovely set up overlooking rolling countryside, cushions and blankets for comfort, lovely food and friendly service. Sunday breakfast was delicious, good coffee, great bacon butty and excellent eggs on sourdough. Also nice little pop up shop for added interest.
Ordered drinks waited a while to receive them. Ordered a sharing platter of bread sticks and dips- took a while to come £15 for 5 bread sticks, three cracker breads and three very small dishes of dips all of which were very tasty. Out main courses then arrived all were delicious but the portions were very small for main courses (think appetiser size main price) I had a delicious chicken dish which was delightful. We ordered more drinks at this point which didn’t come until we’d finished eating. The place was busy but not over run and appeared to be very well staffed. We were offered a pudding menu but declined £140 for four which was 4 x soft drinks- 4 x cocktails 1 x sharing platter 3 x main course and 1 x appetiser + side.
Beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere, expensive small eats and very slow underwhelming service.
An enjoyable experience just left feeling dissatisfied
Lovely place to meet up , food great, setting fabulous, staff great. However we did feel a little ignored towards the end of our meal - my pudding never arrived, despite a reminder - probably didn't need it anyway.....
Great setting and lovely food. Going back again this week!
It was nice idea and beautifully designed. Food was ok
Need some portable heaters outside to keep people warm
First lunch since December 2020!!
Great lunch in stunning surroundings, will definitely visit again.
Excellent food, incredibly welcoming staff, wonderful surroundings and excellent value. Cannot rate highly enough!
The Sun was shining, the location and views are to die for, the food and service are first class. What more could anyone want!
Great pop-up location at Primrose Hill Farm. The team have reacted wonderfully to the limitations caused by the pandemic.
Primrose Hill Farm is in a beautiful setting with stunning views. Great to be able to eat outside on a sunny or warm day. Just bring extra layers if it’s chilly as the food is so good. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service excellent too. We will be back!
A beautiful settings with fabulous views. The food was great, friendly service. The weather was great too which was helpful as sitting outside with no cover. Will definitely be returning.
Location, food and service were all fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
Delightful as always in the new outdoor setting with fantastic views.
A charming location, delicious food, very relaxing
Fabulous set up and lovely place for a long overdue meal!
Beautiful setting at their winter venue at Primrose Hill farm
Great place to eat with amazing views. My only guidance would be that more attention required when cleaning down tables and chairs after customer use.
We had a great dining experience at The Kitchen. We arrived early to go for a walk first and were given a little map showing a local walk. The menu, although not huge, easily catered for fussy teens, veggies and meat eaters and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend The Kitchen to friends and we are hoping to visit again soon.
Our first chance to meet friends for lunch- luckily the weather was OK- no rain but chilly. It would have been almost perfect had there been heaters .. but overall it was very enjoyable. The welcome was good and the service was enthusiastic if a little out of practise. The menu was small but covered all the bases well. The star is the view over the stunning countryside
Beautiful food and great pop up venue. Nice to come out the night before Lockdown 2 and enjoy delicious food, cocktails and a buzzy atmosphere. Treacle sponge is a must, delicious!!!!
We had a wonderful evening with friends, the service was fabulous and so was the food just perfect.
Will definitely be back after lockdown.
Thank you J & P Bower
We had booked for Sunday Lunch but brought our booking forward due to the lockdown being announced, but we had a really lovely evening, the food was delicious and ambience at Primrose superb. A really worthwhile change to our plans. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful staff, beautiful food and surroundings. They were very accommodating and kind to my son who has special needs. We had a lovely experience and can’t wait to some back.
The barn has wonderful views, tables are well spaced and we felt really well looked after.
The food was original, well presented, tasty, and I could have eaten most of the menu, happily. I will certainly go back, as soon as lockdown allows!
Excellent food and service in a brilliant location. A great idea to move into this lovely barn. Felt very Covid safe and the views were wonderful
We had a lovely evening out at The Kitchen. Primrose Farm is a beautiful setting and the evening ambience was stunning. The staff were delightful and welcoming and the food absolutely superb. Its moderately expensive but then that felt entirely fair for a special occasion and for such outstanding food.
It is a delight to see The Kitchen at PHF. The tam are doing an excellent job. We chose the fishcakes which were excellent and beautifully served.
The only disappointment was that when my wife asked for a non alcoholic Seedlip we got a very sharp response, NO all the drinks are on the menu. As they re having cocktail hours I would have thought it made sense to have a non alcoholic version for those that either don't drink or are driving.
Yes we very much enjoyed our visit and will return.
Great environment. Attentive staff. Salmon starter superb. Partridge in Palma Ham too dry as served. Needed a sauce which with the construction of the dish could have been served on the side.
Our recent evening visit to The Primrose Hill Farm pop-up restaurant was a very enjoyable dining experience, only spoilt by our order going astray and having to wait just over 1 hour for our mains. We were disappointed we were not even offered a cup of coffee as an apology. Despite this, we hope things improve on our next visit to this amazing large open scenic location. The sticky toffee pudding has always drawn me back to The Kitchen on numerous occasions.
We'll be back soon !!!!!!! 👌🏻Lovely food, great location, fantastic service and views to die for !!!!
Excellent Sunday lunch at the new pop up at the beautiful Primrose Hill Farm. All COVID precautions in place , great service from the friendly staff
