The Kitchen @ Stonebrier
enjoyed the food & music but... there was only 1 person in front of house. he was bartender, host & server. wasn't that busy but he forgot to order our appetizer so it came after 1st course. just felt it wasn't professional enough for $$
a Birthday. Great place to eat and experience in the kitchen!! Food was excellent as usual
This is our third time at The Kitchen @ Stonebrier. We love it and can't wait to come back. We have tried many items on their menu and each item is delicious!! The staff is amazing, the live music is pure delight, and leave room for the desserts!
There was eight of us and they sat us in the actual kitchen. It was a great overall experience
We enjoyed this restaurant! Food was really good! We enjoyed the wine choices except on the Zinfandel’s which had only 2 choices in varieties and one was Ravens mwood for $4 a glass and one was Old Ghost where the price jumped to $18 a glass! Hardly a deal! Other than that, the appetizer of mussels in a butter cream sauce, caesar salad and sea bass with a side of veggies and loaded mashed potatoes were all awesome. Everything was very tasty and I scoped out the room for some things to order next time. Overall great experience!
This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The rib-eye steak was one of the two or three best I've had. The portions were more than sufficient, we took some home. I finished my meal with an delicious panna cotta and very fine coffee. We'll be back.
This the second time dining here. Lunch now dinner. Food delicious. Enjoyed the music.
Delicious ciabatta bread sandwiches, both vegetarian and with yummy meets. The pesto ravioli side was incredible!
Absolutely charming place. Service was excellent. Food was good. I would order the same again, which says a lot. However great menu so may opt to try something new. I wish everything was not priced separately as it can get pricey quickly.
Went with a group of 10. Table ready when we arrived with bread and dips and water. Very fast service and waitress and waiter were very polite and courteous. Love this place. Outdoor patio seating very nice especially in summer time. Thank you for a lovely birthday celebration.
Menu has changed from what was posted on Yelp - no problem though selection (number of dishes) were down. Guess just adjusting to demand. Place was empty on a Saturday night early evening when last visit (months ago) it was full.
Excellent food. Many diverse choices. Music on Saturday night.
I really loved the ambience and live music. The food of course lived up to the “hype”. Our server was A+ and I will definitely be back for a date night or girls night.
My table mate’s coffee was served cold and had to ask for a ‘hot’ cup of coffee. (This was early morning!) We were on the patio and service seemed a bit slow. This isn’t the first time I have experienced this. They seem to understaff no matter what time of day I go there to dine.
We were the first to arrive for dinner. Our server was most helpful and friendly. Our entrees were duck breast and lamb chops, both cooked perfectly. I had brought wine (no corkage!) and the chef made an excellent sauce to match the wine. We shared a very nice panna cotta for dessert. We'll certainly be back!
This was one of the best dinners we had since Albert's went out of Business. It was a birthday dinner for my husband. We will be back many more times!
Food was excellent - chef & her staff know what they're doing - wait staff was terrific - give it a try you'll enjoy it.
We went for my mother in law's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The service was GREAT. All the food we ordered was really good including the filets, short ribs, and lamb chops. The sides were all tasty as were the desserts. The gentleman playing keyboards provided really nice background music. I was worried it would be too loud, but it wasn't. Will definitely go back again for dinner.
This place is the hidden jewel of Stockton. I have been there twice for dinner and the food is to die for. The polenta actually made my dad get teary eyed because it reminded him of the polenta his Italian mom used to make. The ambiance is relaxing with the live music that is just loud enough to be background music but not interfere with the conversation at your table. This has become my new favorite place to eat. I have been telling everyone to check it out. You won’t be disappointed 😃😋
I Took my wife to this cool place for her birthday with a couple friends. We all enjoyed our dinners. The food was amazing! The Chef is AWESOME! The service was great. My favorite dessert was the bread pudding with caramel sauce, YUM! And as a bonus there was some smooth jazz for a little live music, which completely enhanced the ambiance.
This is one of my favorite places to take friends and clients. The experience includes amazing food, and when it's not very busy, a relaxed atmosphere.
