Amazing food and service. Engaging wait staff and phenomenal food.
We come quite often. Always great quality steaks at a fair price. Justin made the night a lot of fun
I had an excellent experience at Coopers! The waygu ribeye was top notch! Super nice servers
Great place to dine. Great ambiance and service. We highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
We wanted a new place to try with my father in law while he was in town, and we absolutely loved everything! Definitely will be back
This is a great spot with amazing dishes. No surprise that they specialize in meat. We got the filet and the pork chop - both cooked perfectly. If you sit outside, it is right next to Fort Worth Ave, which can get a little loud depending on the time of day. I will definitely be going back.
Couldn’t say enough amazing things about the place. It’s just ALL AMAZING!!!
Best steakhouse in DFW. Unique and quaint atmosphere, with impeccable appetizers, steaks and desserts.
Awesome food and service! Salad was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri was the perfect addition.
Selena and the entire staff is wonderful. 5 stars for the wonderful meal! Highly recommended and will be back soon!
Took an hour to have our entrees ready. Bone in ribeye’s, a little bland
We almost enjoyed our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ Deviled Eggs)l, Pimento Cheese Spread, Dry Aged Bone In Ribeye (20 oz), but the 90 day aged beef was over cooked and tough. Very disappointing. Surely a steak restaurant should know how to prepare a steak. We were not charged for it but it was a special occasion and the guest of honor had an inedible meal. Bummer.
The food is outstanding. Really delicious steaks, cheeseburgers, and appetizers. Service is also very friendly and timely. The only downside was the traffic noise (we sat outside) but even that got better after rush hour, and it was never so bad that we needed to move inside or anything. Just annoying. Overall, it was great.
Steaks are great (of course) and we had filet, and cowboy ribeye. Also had a salad with steak added to it and the steak was plentiful, flavorful and not a skimpy portion. The appetizers of blistered and salted shishito peppers and deviled eggs were a bit hit at our table. Baked potatoes were decent, brussels sprouts were really tasty and just the right amount of caramelization. Service was friendly and efficient. Seating outside was enjoyable even with the light traffic on Ft. Worth ave. We will be back again.
Easy, casual and comfortable neighborhood place that's reliably consistent in both food and service. Celina and Jeremiah wonderful hosts.
Food was fantastic. Our server Jennifer made it a great experience!
Food was good and no problems with servers - but our appetizers took 45 minutes to arrive, and main course took an hour and 20 minutes (we placed the whole order at the same time.) No one warned us about the shortage of staff in the kitchen. Had to ask twice if our food was coming. I had my 7 year old with me, who was SO hungry after waiting so long. The table next to got their meal comped, but I did t even get an explanation or apology until I stood up to leave. I am usually pretty easygoing- this is the first negative review I’ve ever written.
I really can’t review the food - since we never got any! We had a 7:30 reservation and tried to order appetizers, however they were out of all but one that we were not interested in. We ordered wine and steaks. The wine came promptly (both bottles for a table for 4) but no food. Forever. At 9:15 the manager said “bear with us we had people not show up. It we are playing your food right now”. Clearly untrue since we watched two tables get food after that! At 9:30, when we still had no food, we paid $280 for two bottles of wine and NO FOOD. Don’t go - this place obviously has issues, since they had no appetizers in stock and couldn’t get food out in TWO hours!
KristinaD, we appreciate your review and understand your frustration. Tonight was an off night for us. Between being short staffed and the rush, we did have some service failures that we fully own. As a small family run business we hate when we fail our customers and we will take this as a learning experience.
Food was amazing. Our waiter remembered specific things about our visit months ago. Food was amazing. Overall great time.
The Akaushi Tenderloin and Banana Foster Bread Pudding were fantastic and the staff was great! The only drawback was the selection; when we ordered the Deviled Eggs they were out, the physical menu they provided had broccolini as a side which they said they didn’t offer at the time and finally for dessert we asked for the Crème Brûlée and again said they were out. This was all at 12:30pm.
We arrived just as they were closing but they fit us in and kept the kitchen open so we could order. We arrived at closing due to COVID hours that we were not aware of, normally they are open later. Food was lovely and service was great.
Had a great time.
Jeremiah was a great waiter.
Will be going back. Soon
Great "off the grid" option for top-notch steak and sides. If the bling of prime beef palaces is what you seek, look elsewhere. Cooper's is small, interesting in decor and ambiance, and just right for a relaxed lunch or dinner where the food shines. The 20 oz choice ribeye is a steal at $30.00 (a la carte) and the burger should be recognized as among the best in DFW.
Steak was flavored and prepared well. Family side was inadequate. When I think of "Family" side, I tend to think it is enough for the whole family. We got the grilled asparagus and there were 9 stalks of asparagus for the "Family". This was laughable. Priced too high, but kinda expected that being so close to downtown Dallas.
The food was great. It was a different steakhouse experience. The waiter Jeremiah was awesome!
Had great time, wonderful food and great service. Had a great birthday
we ordered and then waited one hour and 15 minutes. A waiter came by once in that entire time. Never got any food so just left tired and hangry.
Everything was excellent! Steaks cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Brussel sprouts, excellent. My mom certainly didn't cook them this way or I would have ate them. Sorry mom.
From appetizer to dessert, the food and service was fantastic!!!
Food was good. A little pricey. They only had two servers so made our waiting time longer.
Great items to choose from on the 3-course Valentine's menu. The food was fantastic and steaks were cooked exactly as requested.
We enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner. The ambiance was nice, romantic and quiet.
It’s very small limited seating. The food is amazing. If you go on a date it can be romantic, but keep in mind people are in and out a lot, because they sale fresh meats and wine also.
The staff at Coopers was phenomenal and very accommodating. We had an issue with our arrival time and they went above and beyond to accommodate us on a busy night and check-in on us personally. The food (deviled eggs, Porter House, brussel sprouts!) and wine were all fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy with great ambience. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon!
Great food and service. Will go again.
Great food and service! Really enjoyed the ambience at Coopers...
From the greeting at the door when we 1st walked in; to the multiple servers touching the table this authentic experience was great! Food was spot-on, wine selection was solid and the servers wanted to be there. Thank You for an awesome experience.
The food and customer service were both excellent! Steaks were reasonably priced. I prefer the more casual relaxed setting at Coopers as opposed to other Steak houses. With that being said, the customer service was just as good.
