Our server, Nikel was awesome. She was attentive came and checked on us throughout our meal Good was fantastic. We will be back.

We were visiting from Atlanta and dropped in for a romantic dinner for two. Dargon was a wonderful server from start to finish! The food from starts to dessert were all flavorful! Make sure to not miss the crunch pie!! DAMNN!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Kingstide came highly recommended for food and service. Our server was absolutely amazing, probably some of the best service I received in a while!! The food however was just not good, the kitchen completely messed up our order, after taking over 45min - an hour with a half empty restaurant. The runner didn’t check the item and it was cooked well done instead of medium rare, and it was the entirely wrong cut of meat. The sides tasted as if they were under the heat lamp too long. The manager did remove the item from the bill but because it took so long to get our food we just ended up leaving to get dinner somewhere else instead of getting a replacement. The staff handled the situation so well but food wise I won’t be returning as there was nothing that made me want to come back and have it again. disappointed it wasn’t the hidden gem I was hoping for but kuddos to a wonderful front of house staff.

I am disappointed to hear that we could not make up the experience to you. We do change our menu seasonally, we just changed up the octopus appetizer, the burrata (one of my favorites), & the tuna tartare starter. We also are changing our cocktail selections for the fall season coming up!!! I do hope you will give us that opportunity to have that dining experience you deserve here at the Kingstide. The drinks were okay but not worth the price. It was so loud we were screaming at each other just to be heard. The tuna was swimming in soy sauce. Almost looked like soup…thought I ate a salt block. Not worth the price.

The beverage menu is changing here shortly for the fall season, so I do hope that you will give us another try. I am so sorry that you were sat in such a loud section. Please next time you are in let me know and we can get you seated on our front porch patio (it is quieter) and the view is tough to beat! The tuna appetizer now is served with the sauce on the side and bib lettuce. I hope with the new menu options and new beverage list to be released soon that you will be back for us to give you that dining experience that you deserve. Amazing food, drinks & ambiance. And most importantly the service. Cecilia brought the sizzle to the experience and we were so fortunate to have her take care of us!

Ordered the steak and seared tuna. Both were excellent! Was wonderful to sit outside on a nice evening.

The a la carte steaks finished over the wood fire grill was a great selection as well and one of our newer additions to our menu. Sadly our experience was not what we expected. Food was fair, restaurant was very warm inside making it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly, prompt and attentive. I recently moved to Daniel island and was excited to eat there but won't be in a hurry to return. Food was expensive and tasteless.

When the weather is pleasant, the outdoor seating is preferable for us. Much quieter than indoors. That being said, everything was wonderful. Caroline was an attentive and congenial server. The scallops, chowder, Caesar salad, and key lime pie were delightful.
