Our server on the upstairs deck where we started with a drink was terrific. He had a terrific sense of humor. The view was terrific and the space was totally delightful. The drinks were delicious. Dining inside in the dining room downstairs was terrific too. A great view, awesome servers and delicious food. We were all satisfied and will most certainly return for dining upstairs casually and downstairs in the dining room.

Excellent all the way around. Emma was an excellent server. They allowed us to continue to sit on the patio for an hour and a half after closing. I would highly recommend Kingstide!

An absolutely lovely dining experience. Unfortunately, I do not remember our server’s name (she had a blonde, almost pixie haircut), but she was very kind and attentive, top notch. Food was superb, and the place itself was beautiful. Highly recommend for a fine dining experience!

We had an amazing dinner on the patio. The view was beautiful! The restaurant had a laid back but still upscale vibe. We had great non-alcoholic cocktails, which had their own section on the menu, so that was a nice touch as someone that doesn’t drink much. The food was great and came out quickly! The pumpkin pasta dish was great. The area is beautiful and definitely worth walking around before or after dinner if you have the time.

I ordered Caesar salad with shrimp and it was edible. The shrimp tasted pickled and were hard. Salad was not great. My friend ordered scallops for his entree and there were only 4 scallops the size of a nickel. Thankful for the delicious french fries. We ate the entire huge bowl. The staff are amazing and the service could not be better. Most beautiful location you will find in Charleston.

My husband and I dined here for our second wedding anniversary. The host and wait staff truly made it feel like a private dining experience!! Matt was our server and by the end of the night, he felt like a friend. They seated us at a table with a beautiful view and brought us complimentary champagne, an appetizer, and dessert. Their kindness was unparalleled to anything we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant before!! It was such a fun experience with incredible food and service. It truly felt like a dream! Couldn’t recommend more for the atmosphere, service, and delicious food and drinks.

We had a wonderful dining experience celebrating my birthday. Our server, Moriah, was a doll. Friendly, attentive and very pleasant. They even threw in a delicious dessert as an extra treat. Great place for special occasions or just enjoying a night out.

This place was absolutely fantastic. The service was awesome and the food was remarkable. The portions on the smaller side but hey, that might be my perspective as an American. When we left, we were full and content. If you’re on the fence about visiting, get off the fence and make a reservation!

The food was superb, the chefs know how to use a wood fired grill better than anywhere I've eaten. Perfect charring, and doneness on the whole snapper and carrots. You won't be disappointed

I booked reservations for dinner for my birthday. Upon booking you are asked what’s the occasion. I believe it’s just for tracking purposes because there was no mention of the occasion at dinner. Overall, I enjoyed myself with my favorite being the Kingstide tower. My sever was kind enough to advise if I return to ask for a substitution for clams. She recommended 2 wines that paired well with our dinner entrees. This was my second time dining at The Kingstide and each time I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Fun atmosphere! Busy when concerts are nearby. Lobster pasta didn’t have any lobster in it! Brussel sprouts and Buratta was delicious!

For the amount of money the food cost the service was not that great. Not kid friendly at all. Waited 30 mins to even get a glass of water.

Don't anticipate anyone greeting you walking up to the host station, bc you're at the DMV. You didn't just walk into a restaurant. Want a clean water glass? No. You've moved on to cell block A from here. Food was fine. Service awful. Keep scrolling.

If we could give more than 5 stars for the service at Kingstide I would. Our server was great. She was patient with our group while we caught up over drinks before ordering, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had all we needed without being intrusive. The food and drinks were excellent too.

Food was delicious and server was very attentive. I got the market fish (swordfish) and it was something I’ll think about for a long time! Ambience was great (mix of boaters and diners) but the A/C was out! It was absolutely miserable inside. Servers and hostesses were fanning themselves. I’m sure this will be fixed by the time you go. I just wish that we were notified before we got there - a $200 tab while wiping sweat was a tough date night 😅
