   We were a group of six ladies on our last night having a dinner at an amazing place. Kingstide was a beautiful restaurant and views, amazing food and our server, Nicole, was awesome. We all said it was our best meal in the six days we were in Savannah and Charleston!!! :)

   We had dinner here for our anniversary- it is a beautiful restaurant on the water. Our waitress -Rebecca- was very attentive. Food came out quickly and was excellent. I had the blackened grouper and my husband had the swordfish. The fingerling potatoes are amazing as was the dessert.

   We had an amazing time at the Kingstide. When we walked in the manager Jacqueline had a warm greeting for us and walked us right to our beautiful table outside. We were promptly greeted by our server Nikelle, she was so kind and helpful, we had our young son with us and she offered to get his meal to us right away! That's was so thoughtful. The food was delicious we had the shrimp cocktail and the ceviche had so much flavor. For dinner we enjoyed the fish platter amd the blackend grouper. They were both some of the best dishes I've had! Wow so much flavor and well balanced. Dont skip on the cauliflower and the Brussels for sides, they were so tasty. For dessert the crunch bar was the winner, very well balanced between sweet and salty with the Nutella. I'd recommend The Kingstide to anyone looking for a delicious dinner with great staff! The view is stunning & the weather this time of year really is beautiful. I'm so glad that Nikelle really played a pivotal role in your dining experience. Please remember you can ask for her each & every time you dine. I'm sure that she would love that. I love that the food matched the great service and the beautiful view, to give you that dining trifecta. The blackened grouper is one of my personal favorites on our springtime menu as well.    Never disappoints! Amazing NY strip this visit with a great old fashioned to go along with it. Great view and great vibe. Try the upstairs bar too!

    Perfect meal, perfect drinks, perfect service, perfect view! After striking out countless times trying to find somewhere to have dinner in downtown Charleston while actively in downtown (everywhere was fully booked, didn't accept reservations, or the menu seemed mediocre and overpriced-- we found Kingstide via opentable. What a breathe of fresh air! We were happy to drive the short distance to gain easy parking, a picturesque view, and an excellent meal. All our anxieties vanished as we enjoyed this moment to finally be present with each other rather than worry about poor service or overprized food. Zoe was great, all the staff was excellent. The menu was interesting, great wine selection (you had me at by the glass Sancerre!), and my whole family found something they enjoyed. 10/10

I love the view as well and count myself blessed I get to work here. The ambiance really is tough to beat. I am so glad that you found us and gave us a try. And remember the Daniel Island ferry also provides services from downtown to the island. I have not been on it myself, but I hear great things about it and can't wait to try it out.
