The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

Exceptional food, a lot of local choices, don't get fooled by the look of portion sizes, they are perfectly done to make you appreciate the dish and not feel like you are about to explode at the end of your meal.

Lovely lunch time meal with friends. All had the lobster special, with a few sides. Outdoor table in the garden, perfect.

Enjoyed a lovely Father’s Day / Sunday lunch sat outside with our dogs. Food was excellent - I had catch of the day (sea bass, crayfish, saffron potatoes & samphire) followed by chocolate pot with orange & passion fruit. The other half had the “all the meats” roast and then elderflower panna cotta with strawberries. Others in our party had fish & chips, chicken supreme roast and ice cream & sorbet. The quality and cooking of the meat was particularly good, superior to your traditional Sunday lunch. Definitely recommend and we will visit again when we are next in the area.

Great meal and atmosphere last night at The Kings Head! The service was great,a d it was refreshing to be asked if we wanted a bottle of water for the table without having to ask!! And tasty food, we had the burger, and their halloumifries are the best I've ever eaten!!

I have always loved coming here as the food is always excellent and the staff are really lovely. However, I won't be returning as the prices have got ridiculous. £29 for lamb but then you have to pay extra for potatoes and then extra again for veg. This place seems to think it's now in London with their pricing system. Whilst you don't mind paying usually for quality, you don't usually have to pay £29 just for a piece of lamb unless you are heading to a top West End restaurant. Food is top notch but the prices are just too much... sorry...

High quality meat in their Sunday roasts - absolutely delicious, not dry or overcooked despite arriving towards the end of their service. The Kings Head also accommodates dogs in such a welcoming and practical way, thank you.
