The Kings Arms is our pub, owned and run by the local community here in Strete. It is one of the first community owned pubs in the South West. And because it's owned by the people from the village, we'd like to think it offers a warmer welcome. A bit more of the real local flavour. A better connection with life in these wonderful parts. All with car parking, a large garden and a kids playing area.

We pride ourselves on our crowd pleasing food favourites menu, the best local beers, and a range of events, daytime and evening, to keep everyone amused and entertained. And then there's the view. Sometimes we just sit there, drink in hand, and look out over those fields to the ocean beyond and thank our lucky stars this is where we live.

We hope you can share in that feeling.

Free safe car park. Warm welcome. Great food and good service. Lovely location overlooking the sea. Clean and friendly place. Great outside area when it warms up a bit. February offer great value for money.

Plenty of space between tables, lovely coastal view, friendly staff, good selection of drinks, limited food choice but what we had was tasty. Nice relaxing Sunday lunch.

Lovely staff. Very busy restaurant tonight for fishy Friday.had fish n chips and sea bass both cooked well.lovely al dente vegetables. Then the brownie with hot sauce and Ice cream was a winner .overall a great experience. Well done team

Very nice pub. Sunday lunch was extremely good and the service was very prompt. Portion sizes were just right and good value for money.

We booked Sunday lunch beef based on previous reviews and were very keen to support a community run pub. On arrival we were told that there was a replacement chef at short notice so rather than roast beef we could have beef steak. One of us had the beef and the other chose turkey. The food was excellent, particularly the vegetables but it seemed a bit odd to have stuffing and a sausage with the beef and a Yorkshire pudding with the turkey. It still got eaten with a bit of food swapping! All the staff were friendly and attentive. As it was Sunday lunch the music could have been quieter but otherwise we would definitely return again.
