The King and Queen is a beautiful quintessentially, English country Inn, located in the small village of East Malling, Kent. Located just 5 minutes drive from the M20 the K&Q offers everything you would expect of a 15th century coaching Inn. Serving traditional English food, from 12:00- 21:00 Weds-Sat and 12-19:30 on Sunday, we offer everything from pub lunch and classics to our full a la carte menu. Saturdays we are serving Brunch from 11:00-13:00 and Sundays we serve our famous English roast dinner 12:00-19:30. In addition to the beautiful interior areas there is a large well maintained garden for you to sit out in during the summer months. If you are looking for accommodation the K&Q has 3 double letting rooms, one of which is equipped for disable guests. Each room has private parking and a complimentary, in-room, continental breakfast is provided for you. At lunchtime we offer light bites and Our head chef has a passion for Indian cooking and every Thursday we have Curry Night where 3 beautiful examples of the delicate dishes of Northern and Southern India are on offer. Sharing deals are available. If Brunch is your thing then we're pleased to offer this every Saturday 11am-1pm. Sunday's are our favourite day and our traditional roasts are not to be missed.

Very good, friendly and effecient service. Great food at a reasonable and fair price. A lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy a very pleasant evening with friends. Thank you.

Great food and fantastic service. So genuine and so happy and you made us feel welcome. Special thanks for the Cauliflower Cheese, a really nice touch, but above all else, it’s bloody fantastic. Thanks very much

Noisy with tables too close to each other. Very little choice for those of us with Coeliac disease. Allergen menu stated which foods were gluten free but no reference given to the fact that foods with and without gluten were fried in the same oil eg chips. Food was ok but certainly not special or hot enough. Our meal was made a lot better due to our excellent waiter who worked incredibly hard, communicated well, understood my food allergy and even offered to take a photo at the end of our meal. Sadly I did not take his name but full marks to him!
