Went for Sunday lunch on Father’s Day. The food was average at best which is a real shame as the beer, atmosphere and staff are all fantastic

Our first time back after this pub’s revamp. They don’t seem ready yet for visitors. About six items not available from the menu. Both our plates came with missing items. Our waitress was obviously new and not sufficiently trained hence the comments on here and not directed at her directly. However, basics of hospitality and food presentation were disconcerting at best. As locals we need to hear some good vibes about this place before choosing where to dine. Still a lovely place for a drink though.

Food was fine, but we were dining at 7pm when the live musician started and we could not talk easily. Not a good idea to mix dining right next to loud music and dancing customers

The service was extremely slow. We waited an hour and a half to get any food. When it did arrive only half turned up. My kids really wanted pudding but we were put off with the wait. We ordered & they were fantastic but the slow service really ruined the experience.
