The food is really not good it was a good place a year before but the service and food quality has deteriorated and not a place worth to go.
Service is very slow. Went for mother's day with group of 9. 13 minutes after seated i had to go and get a server to take our order. Overall, food is average for the price. Would not return as there are many other options in the city for better value and taste.
A beautiful place with wonderful food. It was Saturday evening and there was a singer. Many multigenerational families beautifully dressed enjoying an evening out. Service was slow but polite. The food was worth the wait.
The food was good, but not consistent. I really liked their lamb chip & grilled shrimp, but sometimes they were overcooked, sometimes they were lukewarm, sometime they were dried, the spices were good, I've been there a few times, but the food quality was not consistent.
Delicious food, excellent service. Server JP was outstanding, he even made recommendation on what to order. I would recommend to any one.
Good food but not like before not as clean and service!
Food was good service was ok
This is my 2 nt visit, very nice food .realy i enjoyed .
I am very glad to say, this is no-1 restaurant in brampton, good food and excellent service.
The food was amazing. Booking with open table was a breeze. The noise was too much though.
The food was good..the service was quick..
Una gran experiencia de sabor!
Quedé enamorado de los platillos y el servicio del restaurante.
Got starter after an hour of order. The taste was pretty un-Khazana
We had a great time and great food. Food had great taste and not too spicy.
Must try the black seed nan bread
Get some trained staff
Good Not worth the penny and trust me this is coming from Indian telling you this
Exceptionally rude waiter Jomy. There was a huge event (wedding/anniversary) happening in half the restaurant. They were using microphones and speakers and the lights were on full beam. We were not told there was an event that night when we booked. This is terrible customer service - making money but treating guests like their dinner does not matter. It was my father’s birthday and my brother drove from Cambridge. We will NOT be back here and will tell everyone we know to do the same. Terrible quality dark meat that 4 meat eaters left on their plates. The only good thing was the naan bread and the 24k daal. Not enough to get me back there tho. Truly awful
Not a good experience at all. The service was bad, the server working our section was not trained in the restaurant service, did not know the menu or the drinks.
The food was just average and not befitting a Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant. The chicken dish did not match the menu description and the chicken was undercooked.
Never going back again! Very disappointed!!
Everything was good except service was very slow and there was no customer service. The waitress took too long in between visits not respecting the length of time we were kept waiting. The waitress was polite just not around enough.
We went on the night of 3rd jan.18 and the waiter incharge having told us that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes so just hurry up. Biryani was served with plain yogurt instead of raita and that waiter abruptly told that raita is over by this time. He was just a rude guy and did not have any manners leave the customer service which was not upto the mark. i have been here so many times but never came across a waiter like this. So not going again for sure.
It took 20 minutes for the server to show up at our table and that too we had to request someone to send our server over. We eventually placed the orders for drinks, appetizers and mains together. It took another 30 minutes to receive tap water and other drinks. Once we had finished our appetizers, we had to call the manager after 50 minutes of wait for our main course with no food or drinks on the table. Once the manager showed up (after much imploring) he continued to give excuses by saying that the machines are not working and the orders weren’t reaching the kitchen and everyone else was facing the same issue. Without apologizing he continued to argue and normalize the inadequacy of service. Once we received our mains the Dal tadka was burnt and the best of everything, our bill showed that 8 rings of raw unsalted onion was $15.00!!!!?? I went looking for a fine dining experience but my family cooks wayyyyy better than the chef. I felt like paying $300.00 for a rude and hungry experience. No apologies even till the end. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we returned with bad experience and without cutting the cake!!! The server was a nice man but the manager was rude, unapologetic and completely selfish. I will never go there again and will make sure that my friends and family know about this experience.
Service was very bad: table was not setup, the plates were placed haphazardly, except for the person who took our order, the rest of the staff was not friendly. it took over 1 hour between the appetizer and main food to come. when the main dishes came, they didn't bring out the bread we ordered, which we waited another 10 minutes for. after which we cancelled the order for the bread.
I chose the restaurant for a business dinner as the website and the reputation of the chef is very good. The food at Khazana is excellent, tasty, interesting, with multiple vegetarian options and beautiful prep. However the service needs work. The restaurant was overly warm, and the water provided - both still and the bottled Perrier - was warm. We asked for ice, and we had to ask twice again before it was brought. My guest ordered the cabernet from the wine menu, and the waiter asked if he wanted white or red. Hmm. Then it was not available. Questions about which dish was which were answered incorrectly - chicken identified as paneer, etc. Finally, we asked for, and were provided the leftovers to take with us. They were packaged and brought in a plastic bag inside a lovely paper bag. When we got them back home, all the dishes had been stacked in the bag sideways, so all the dishes were swimming in the leaked sauce - not pleasant. The food is really excellent here, the staff is friendly, but they need to pull up the service socks.
This is the worst experience in last 20 years. For one hour and 15 mins no one came near to our table to put the water . After 1.15 hours they just put water and no glasses. After 30 more mins they came to take the order and said u have 15 min to order and order it all at once. What a great way to say plz go away. I will never go to this restaurant even if some is inviting me for free food or anything. Have a wonderful day.
We have been to this place before but now it has been biz are place to go to. The live music was not at all good, also they have a Very bad music taste. It was So loud it we couldn't place order properly. I will never this place as they indulge in what restaurants prefer rather than customer preference. When you think of khana khazana you think of food and ambience. Both were really poor. Not recommended.
Extremely slow service, took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. Food was boring, could easily find similar food for far less. Live music was far too loud, could not even hear ourselves speak. Extremely disappointing.
The food was okay. Signature dishes like the daal were very mediocre and flavorless, so not worth the price. We went there for the celebrity name chef and were a bit disappointed.
Didn't enjoy the food, service was slow, table was not lit and had to ask for a candle to see the menu. Had some dried out chicken wings and 2 curries that were not very tasty. Would not recommend.
Overpriced and lousy food. Will not stay in business very long!!!
Service was really horrible. The dinner menu was good, and the food was definitely unique and tasty. Dessert - not at all good - we left the basundi and the hard cheesecake half eaten.
There were kids running all around, yelling and climbing chairs, and definitely discussing other guests, including us. Definitely not a romantic place; but the ambience was quite elegant. The main waiter deserted our table after 15 minutes, and we were glad that he got replaced by someone else, who was only a bit better - attention, timely service, menu explanation, etc. were lacking. More of a hotel management issue.
Love the food Every time. Briyani's are amazing! The only thing I hated was naan's very dry and more like papad then the soft and. Buttery. But loved everything else.
Authentic North Indian food. portion size was enough to be shared with 2 people and then some. very oily though. service was excellent until the restaurant started filling up and then the server was obviously overwhelmed. over all good experience..
Eveything was good.. except the prices are way too high for those small portions. Like 5 small pieces of lamb chops with out bread or rice for $37.99 and that also appetizer, not even a meal.
Most disgusting place. Their quality of food has gone down exponentially in last 1 year. For example the sizes of pieces of chicken in bhatti murgh used to be half the size of your palm and now it's little bigger than your thumbnail. Taste has gone down a lot. Curry dishes are so bad even I can make better anyday. Size of faluda glasses used to be regular water glass size and now it's the size of a green tea cup. Service was bad for example I asked server to change plates he forgot then, another server comes and opens up the desert menu and puts in front of us while we are still eating main course. Servers regularly disappear for long and it takes them 20 min to bring just desert. While cashing out the servers don't even stay and say thanks but they just hand you the machine and disappear. Half of their staff cannot speak proper English. Overall this restaurant has gone down in standard so much that it's not worth going there again, EVER
Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor is either unaware of what goes on behind his back or he doesn't care at all.
Delicious food but I didn't like the service of the employees
This was our second visit, first one was to give our other friends a party and the second visit for a birthday celebration. We drove one Hour to have a lunch here.
As we reached, we were greeted promptly and directed towards our table. We were given a window sits, ledge of the windows were full of dirt and food crumbs. Nobody would be cleaning this place. The couch where we were seated was broken inside so the sitting was very very uncomfortable. When we finished our meal and let the waiter know about it, he simply said, yes they know the problem, next time they will give me better sit!!!! This was great letdown.Music was too loud and then people had to speak even louder than that. Could not enjoy quiet conversation with family.
It took about 15 or more minutes just for them to ask us about drink or what we want to order. We planned to order "Platinum Special" for ach which gives combination of all range of meals. The first person took order and after that she came back and said she has to check with kitchen what we can order. After some wait some other person came and basically they had so many restrictions on choice that we had to drop our idea of that "special" and go with A La Carte. This means we had to restart with each of us to go back to menu and select items. Now third person came to take order. Along with order he promised papad, pickles etc but nothing came. Just to serve our food, there were 2 to 3 person came and none of them had idea of our overall full order items. We had to remind them what is missing and then they will run back to kitchen to get items. Overall very poor service, badly coordinated staff with lack of knowledge of their Menu.
The food tasted ok. However the price of each item was ridiculous for what it was. $6 for a side of sliced onions?? The waiter didn't even tell us we would be charged.
The meal ( 2 dishes) took an hour to arrive.
When we called to make a reservation the prices over the phone did not match the menu. It's not really a "Khazana"... many other Indian eateries in The GTA where quality, ambiance and cost are present!
Really fantabulous!! Food was great as compared to my last year visit!!
NICE TO PLACE TO DINE IN. WILL CERTAINLY RECOMMEND OTHERS TO TRY THE BEST AVAILABLE OPTION FOR FINE INDIAN CUISINE IN BRAMPTON. LIVE MUSIC ALONG THE DINNER COULD BE A GOOD OPTION AS WELL
below my expectations. It's really a specific ethnic group's cuisine. Lot's of kids and cartoons on TV. Noise, kids running around. Five-star price but the table is with glass top!
Don't recommend this restaurant.
