   My very first time at the keg. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Our server Joe? Was soo knowledgable about the menu, cuts of steak and the preparation! He was able to help me get the perfect steak! And lemme tell you I am spoiled now and crave the keg more than I should.

   We really enjoyed our meal celebrating our parents 62nd wedding anniversary. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off and was really loud. We were assured there wasn’t a fire and that this happened a week earlier. Maybe a good idea to look into this false alarm as it did affect our dinner and went on for a few minutes.

   Honestly, we’ve been to the keg regularly and this has been the worst time yet. First of all, they were out of certain options, they continuously forgot to bring items that we ordered (such as drinks and food) and then the fire alarm was continuously going off. If this was my first visit, I would not go back, and even though we regularly go here, I’m really considering taking this place off of my list to go. The service was quite sub par and not worth the price. The food was good but honestly that isn’t good enough as part of the price is for the service you receive

   Excellent food, as usual. My wife and I tried the rib steak for the first time; it was excellent, although I'll probably go back to my usual prime rib next time. Our younger son had the pepper steak, which he liked "fine," but I gather he didn't love it. Our older son had his usual top sirloin, which he loves. Excellent service.

    Starter bread was amazing. Drinks were great. Garlic bread was very buttery and garlicky. Steak was super salty. Restaurant was not busy and service was super slow.

    My 14 year old daughter wanted to go for her birthday, it was the worst experience I had at the Keg. We were poked away in a corner next to a closet with supplies in it that staff were constantly going too making a lot of noise. There was no scenery around us like windows it was just dark. Our waitress was not that friendly she visited our table once to see how things were. The chicken was undercooked and the ribs had a bad taste to them. The waitress was suppose to speak to her manager about it, we did get $4.00 discount which isn't much on a $200 bill. I have been to the keg before and everything was great, but yesterday had to be one of my worst experience.

    Waiter was great! First lot of food that came out was not ours. I guess that is why we were a long time getting our food. When we did get our food, it was as usual very good as well as the wine and what we expected. The Keg is always consistant. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

    Service was super great, very friendly and efficient staff. The wine, calamari, vegetables and mushrooms were great. The steaks we had to use the knives to their full potential to just cut the meat and cut into small pieces to be able to eat it.

    The price of the special should be disclosed by the waiter. There should be more variety of veg on the plate; too much zucchini. I notice that the steak is not as tender as it use to be. Wondering if it’s a lower grade. ie not triple A Over all enjoyed the meal but notice the quality for the increase in price has slipped. I enjoy the Keg but have reduced my dining by 50%

    When we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, which was made a week in advance to celebrate Mother's Day, we were brought to a table that was not prepared for our dining party. There were four table settings and chairs at a table that was clearly meant to accommodate only four guests. The staff were apologetic and quickly rushed to retrieve more place settings and chairs. The location of the table was rather undesirable, next to the elevator, and it felt like we were in a warehouse rather than a restaurant in which we would proceed to spend hundreds of dollars for our meal. After a few frantic minutes with the staff attempting to set and then move the table to make room for our dining party, we noticed that the table was so wobbly that every time someone moved or touched it the table moved excessively. The waiter offered to fix it, but upon inspection of the table stated that it was not something he could remedy. Reluctantly, we stayed at the restaurant for our meal. We noticed that several tables on the other end of the restaurant that were clearly meant to accommodate a dining party of our size had two people seated at them for their reservations. The meals were well-prepared and all guest enjoyed their dishes. However, the disappointment of our placement in the restaurant as well as the other issues with our reservation will certainly affect my decision to return to The Keg for any future family celebrations.

    One of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant in a long time! Our server was fabulous, the free bread, the appetizer and our mains were so delicious! They also gave us a free dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary, which was amazing and so thoughtful of them. Excellent experience. Was also pleasantly surprised by the price of our meal, it was on par with other sit down restaurants and the experience was much better.

    We continue to go to the Keg, St. John’s. The window seats provide a beautiful view of The St. John’s Harbour and Signal Hill. The server Stephanie was very attentive to our needs. The food is always delicious and well presented. We never had prime rib or a steak there that wasn’t done to perfection. Love the casual atmosphere.

    Our favourite restaurant by far. So enjoy our visits there. However, I can’t give you as high a rating as I normally would. My steak was cooked as I ordered, but I did find it quite salty. So much so, that I couldn’t enjoy my wine. When I took a sip of wine, it was like it was stinging. A side effect I assume the salt had on my tongue. It was disappointing not to be able to enjoy the wine and steak as I normally would have. We will return again however, but next time I will request less salt.

    Usually eat upstairs but decided to have our dinner in the bar area. Loved the privacy. You could actually have a conversation without having others hear it. Overall a great experience.

    We were disappointed with one of the steaks We had asked for medium rare but the steak was both tough and over-cooked. We mentioned this to our server but without avail. Keg steaks are usually delicious but this one was not the expected standard
