We enjoyed our meal. My steak was a bit dry which I've never experienced before. I think it was bit overcooked. My wife's meal was perfect, so it balanced out. Hopefully next time I will have a better experience. Our waiter was excellent and the service was very great!

The only thing we had a problem with was our reservation was for 6:15 pm and we didn’t get seated till 6:35 pm. That was a long time for my mom and step dads to be standing and waiting at 80 years old especially on his birthday.

Food was very good. Steak knives were full. The steaks were tender but the knives made the steaks appear to be tough when cutting. Need to sharpen those knives!

I found it to be more expensive than it was before COVID. If we didn’t have a gift card it would not have been our choice of restaurants. While those who enjoyed steak liked it, I had chicken and ribs. Ate some chicken, didn’t lime the ribs. Loved the twice baked potato and the small brownie dessert. Service was excellent!

Made reservations for dinner on a Saturday. The waiter was extremely pleasant. He was very attentive but not too attentive which was very nice. When I mentioned that someone at the table had a food intolerance, the meal they ordered was flagged, the manager came over to double check that the food was okay to eat. I was very impressed with the attention to detail that this restaurant has. The food was excellent. I would definitely go back!

Andrew made our experience extraordinary. We were celebrating our anniversary and he was so attentive and friendly. Despite a packed restaurant, he made us feel like we were the only ones there. Thank you, Andrew and The Keg for making our visit so amazing. The food was amazing as it always is and the service exceeded our expectations.

We go to the keg often, it’s our go to to bring clients. It’s always amazing. Yesterday, as usual, the service was impeccable. The food however, a little disappointing. Our guests had no complaints. My wife had the teriyaki sirloin, cooked right, great flavor, but meat was very chewy, unlike the same steak she had 2 weeks ago. I had the Onion Ribeye. Great taste, asked for medium rare, steak was well done, no pink at all. My wife mentioned her dissatisfaction, our server was great, offered a new steak, she declined but got a complimentary dessert. I elected not to say anything. Overall it was a great experience, just the food was disappointing. Will not affect future visits.

Took my bridal party for supper here last night. Waited way longer than we think we should for food. Service was good. There was an angry baby beside us so we tend to yell at each other at our party. No one can do anything about it though but it sure affects our visit.

There were so many people and the noise level was terrible. Host and Servers were not wearing masks and in extremely close proximity to customers (because of the noise level they had to lean right up to people to hear their orders. They were seating walk ins and when I came in, on time, I waiting 20 minutes for my RESERVED table. They seated two groups of walk-ins prior to my party being seated and they seated us right beside the bar, where it was noisiest and I was with a senior lady who was having a lot of trouble hearing and it was very difficult to have a discussion. I was very disappointed as the Keg has always been my place to go when visiting Winnipeg. The food was the only saving grace--very good, as always.

Our waitress was wonderful and help us to move to another table. Originally I was a little frustrated that I reserved over a week in advance and we were seated at a small table right by the patio door which was constantly opening. Also, we made reservations for 6pm but were only seated almost 30 minutes later. But our service made me forget.

We sat in the bar which was not what we were wanting and it was sooooo loud!! And, the parm crab dip wasn’t hot or very tasty so we sent it back. The goat cheese appy was amazing, however. Our servers were excellent (Jenx2) and the manager was fantastic. Thank you so much. We WILL return.

It was almost empty when we arrived, they sat us in a nice quiet corner, then within ten minutes they had filled our entire section one table after another. Very loud and a little dim. But the server was amazing, the food was great, and of course the billy minor pie is tasty as ever.
