   It was a birthday event with four of us and we reserved a table beforehand as it was Friday night. We were not rushed with plenty of time to have drinks before ordering. Our food all arrived on time and was delicious. We had filets, almond salmon, and ribs. Along with the fixings. Billy Miner’s Pie was the finale to an enjoyable evening. Definitely will be back.

   The vibe was cozy and perfect for a chill night out with fam! The drinks were chef’s kiss and the main course? Incredible — the steak and lobster combo was cooked to perfection. Service was super friendly too! The only thing that didn’t hit the mark for me was the shrimp cocktail and tuna tartare — both were fresh, but they needed a little more salt to bring out the flavors. Still, would def come back for the amazing ambiance and mains!

   Food arrived cold and our waiter seemed disinterested the entire evening. This is very unusual for the Keg.

   Big fans of the Keg and North York was as good as always. Mark looked after everything and we had a great evening for my wife's birthday dinner. Food, wine and dessert was top notch served in a great atmosphere. Thanks again.

   I was a little upset as I wrote on my reservation to surprise my friend for her birthday with a piece of cake or dessert…it never happened. The quality of the food has really decreased in the last year. I’m celiac and usually have a manger come to the table, that didn’t happen yesterday either. Disappointing…

    Had an amazing night for a birthday—we arrived just before 7pm. Noise level was pretty steady throughout the night. Shrimp cocktail was delicious, fresh (and perfectly large shrimp). Fried calamari was beautifully done (so tender and not overcooked) and the Mac and cheese had the most delicious sauce we were bringing out Italian roots out using the bread to mop up the extra! Lobster tails, blackened chicken, and sirloin were on the menu. All tender and juicy! Ended the evening with Billy Miner pie, creme brûlée, and cheesecake (next time I’ll be seeing if I can get the cheesecake- no fruit topping- add the caramel chocolate and almonds like the Billy Miner pie has!!). Service was steady and our server was funny, gracious, and made us feel very welcome even as we lingered after the bill. A must-visit location! One of the best! And get the peppercorn sauce!
