Everything was great. We did wait a rather long time after being seated for someone to engage with us. It was an early reservation so that could have been a factor.
The dining area was not very busy a this time and everything was clean and ready to go for the evening service.
When our wait person did come by she was very professional and pleasant.
Our meals were both prepared as excepted and tasted wonderful .
We will be back.
Our service was wonderful. Travis was excellent and quick with all our requests.
Server was super nice. Was a bit toasty by the fireplace
Feature was out for one of the guests but they compromised
It was a fantastic night at the Keg! Service was outstanding and food was incredible! I think it is worth what you pay for it and we will be back!
Excellent food and service! The fish was a bit bland, but the Keg Burger is too notch!
Excellent service and food. My steak had quite a bit of gristle, so the waiter brought me another one, which was perfect.
Great food, great service. We went with our baby. It was out first real dining experience. Our reservation was for 7pm but next time we will go a bit earlier when it's less busy to avoid cranky baby.
It had been a while since I had visited KEG. I was truly disappointed with food and beverage. I ordered Keg Cesar for my drink but it tasted very blanch. I wasn’t expecting this. It was very ordinary as compared to local pubs.
Food presentation was also very ordinary. Not up to standard of Keg that I had seen in the past. Overall had a disappointing experience
Teriyaki sirloin fantastic. Scallops wrapped in bacon are ridiculously good. Vegetables that come with the meals have no flavour or texture or anything decent. Booze as usual expensive.
Overall the atmosphere was amazing the server I believe his name is Connor was pleasant as far and timely in taking our drink order as well as dinner order. He made some recommendations and also when asked about the type of salmon, had to confirm with the kitchen. Which he did promptly and advise that it was farmed salmon. However that doesn’t really cover exactly what type of salmon was I was just curious about. The garlic mashed potatoes I found to be extremely buttered/oily which made the meal much heavier than it should’ve been. As far as It seem like the kitchen was trying to get rid of the massive amount of blue cheese on the iceberg wedge.
The steak was cooked to perfection And the guava basil mule was delicious and something new I have not experienced.
Drinks took forever
Food was cold
No butter with two lobster dinners
Service was very poor
Sorry but for your prices it was very poor
Waited a decent chunk of time for dinner. The server did notify us on the delay which isn’t an issue. Nothing in her control. Wait time was over 20 minutes for entrees. My boyfriend’s potato was quite cold and his steak was rare. The BOH ran out our food, he was wearing a white coat. It seemed like the food was sitting a while before anyone took the initiative to run it. Usually the food is always pipping hot.
It was nice to things closer to normal, and food closer to the norm as well
Excellent service and dinners also!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Had a great time. Food was amazing as always. This time was just a little slower for the mains to come out, but all good
Food was as to be expected from a Keg. Service was good.
Keg steaks never disappoint. To me it's always an extra special meal if we are going to The Keg.
As always food is delicious and cooked as requested. Excellent service from our server. Favorite restaurant to go to for over 40 years. Do miss the original salad bar they had way back when.
I think this will be our last time coming to the Keg.
We tried 4 times with last night being the 4th and again my steak was not cooked right.
I don’t know why, but every time we come we are disappointed in some way.
Our waiter took 10 minutes to even come to our table after we sat down which, in the restaurant industry, is a huge no no.
We had to ask for bread and he said there’s a delay on it, which is fine but he should’ve made that known to us initially without us having to inquire about it. The bread also arrived cold which was disappointing.
There was also no water refill until we were ready to leave. Not once did he come by to ask if we wanted a refill. We had to move our empty glasses to the end of the table and even that didn’t help him clue in. This is part of his job as a waiter to refill water at all times and he did not meet those expectations at all.
Once again, my steak was not cooked medium. It came bloody and medium rare. I showed the waiter and he agreed, then he brought the kitchen manager over. Although the customer service in the regards is good, it doesn’t make up for all the other disappointments. We also had to pay for both of the meals, both of which were not cooked as requested. My husband is just not as picky as I am so he decided to keep his steak and not complain. In the restaurant industry, if a customer is not happy with the initial meal, it is to be comped. That’s just proper customer service.
Overall the experience was mediocre and disappointing. We have the Keg this many chances because once uptown a time we did e joy it and we don’t want to write a restaurant off right away.
I hope this review helps you guys to educate your staff about what is expected of them as servers, as well as how to cook a steak properly since this is an establishment known for their meat.
First time I’ve ever ordered the prime rib believe it or not and it was fantastic!
Food was good. Service was good, a little slow but it was busy. A little surprised at the capacity and where we were seated there was no way to be socially distanced and no barriers.
Friendly, efficient service and food taste & presentation was great! Only wish they would bring back Alaskan king crab legs!
The Keg never disappoints! Great food and atmosphere.
Great experience, service was top notch. Steak was NY Peppercorn cooked medium rare, Chicago style; was perfectly cooked
Delicious dinner, decently quick service, very happy! Steak was cooked perfectly, sides were yummy!
Tommy was amazing. Fantastic service, would definitely go back if he was serving
Always a pleasure to visit and have dinner at the Keg in Langley.
We had a great night out. The food is always consistently good and the service was great!
Traditionally a great place for us to dine out over the years
My friend snd so we’re surprised that we came at 4:30 and got out right beside a large table when the dining room was pretty empty. They started to fill up the section we were in when place was not busy. Large table was loud so was not an enjoyable visit with friend. No reason to put us and a few other couple people beside such a large group
We went out for our Thanksgiving dinner. From the time we arrived to when we left, everything was excellent. I had prime rib. It was very tasty and perfectly cooked.
The waiter was exceptional and very personable.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for an nice evening out.
Not the true keg experience, was put upstairs by bar. The keg is getting very expensive and service was not there.
Fabulous food as always. Of course, a bit on the pricey side - but so worth the money!
Food was very tasty. Our service from the waiter wasn’t good. I ordered steak and lobster and didn’t get the butter for about 5 minutes after my dinner was served. Not once did the server ask if we wanted refills for our drinks. Took about 20 mins to pay our bill.
We always enjoy our Keg meal but this is the first time we have been for a long while and the ability to reserve a table is spectacular! We were sad that they took crab off the menu though.
My birthday celebration
As good as always. The Keg. Been excellent since I started going there 40 years ago.
Food was outstanding, as usual. Service was a touch slow.
Never disappointed. This is our go to spot for special occassions.
Forgotten drinks, bread, cutlery. Had to flag her down to ask for another drink. Never brought water and the wait for drinks was very long.
