Brings together the traditional Dublin pub feel with a modern approach. Lots of hospitality with lots of room, lots of TVs with all of the current matches/games on. The Staff is amazing, very help full and courteous. And the food is great. Have eaten here many times and the kitchen delivers every time. Just off Times Square too! Recommend to anyone - the local and the tourist.
We love this bar & anytime in New York we have Thanksgiving dinner & drinks here. The owner is s lovely woman as are her fantastic staff. The food was mostly grand, a little overdone on the pastry & the pizza wasn't great but the friendliness here & good covid practice overtook everything- we will be back again & again
Food and service was terrific.
Will go again for sure.
Such a great start to a terrific evening with family and friends celebrating our return to live concerts and Billy Joel’s return to the garden! Food was terrific. As was the beer and the service!
It’s called the keg room. We arrived and were seated, given a beer menu, and finally when I tried to order a draft beer they tell me no draft beers are available. You would think the hostess or the waitress would mention that before I am ready to order. I order a bottle of beer and they don’t bring or offer a glass. The food was mediocre at best. My guess is this place will not be around very long unless they have any extremely cheap lease because I can’t imagine anyone returning there.
Great food, comfy seating, perfect spot to watch any game
Returned several nights in a row there after watching a football game there on Sunday and returning with clients & colleagues during a conference week in NYC. Needless to say, I returned because I enjoyed the place. The staff is particularly friendly and accommodating, especially the bartender from Ireland who was awesome and the most hospitable I’ve ever met! The Keg Room delivers on a top of the line sports bar experience with great pub food, lots of easy to see TV screens and a variety of fans rooting for their respective teams
Great spot if you’re looking for a Sports Bar / Irish Pub setting!
Muy bueno todo cerveza comida volveremos sin dudas!
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Good, quick, tasty pub food. Exactly what we were expecting, would go back.
Excellent food, value and service. Classic bar-pub- restaurant. Loads of beer on tap and lots of menu selections. Turkey burger and shepard pie were great. Friendly staff and fast service.
Adequate, nothing special
Perfect for happy hour. Wide variety of beers. Pub food is fine. Staff is very friendly.
Found the perfect spot to please a group before a show at MSG! Lots of interesting casual food and aps. Lively spot with great service. We had soups, wings, nachos and drinks. All good. The manager checked on us. Even made me a cranberry margarita. Will return!
Price was fair for New York City. Server seemed to be preoccupied and in a rush, which didn’t make sense because their were only a few tables seated when we were there. Food was good.
Great spot for a bite to eat. Large selection of beers on tap. Food was served very quickly! I would definitely return for another visit.
My friends and I had a Wonderful Time at the Keg Room. It was conveniently located within a short walking distance of Penn Station, and the Food was Excellent. I had the Shepard's Pie, and I enjoyed it very much. They also had some great Seasonal Martinis, which we all loved. I would recommend this place to everyone.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and everything about our experience was perfect. The French Onion soup is among the best I’ve ever tasted.
The shrimp starter had the most awful sauce, the salad had drowned in it. We ordered two, got one. Noise was so loud that the waitress couldn’t hear us. No drinks arrived until after starter. As soon as missed starter arrived, so did main course. Steak was cold and inedible. We left almost all of it but the male who collected our plates, did not question this. The next table was encroaching on us which made making a complaint difficult, plus no one could hear anything. It was our last night in the City and we had eaten well up until this point. We had food from a street vendor that was considerably better than this.
Greeting as you walk in was great took about 10 minutes to get a beer as no menu.
When ordering food appetisers came out same time as meal so wasn’t happy and all I got was enjoy your meal the food as good not great it all felt very rushed for $85
Friendly and welcoming! It was a great spot to hit before a concert at MSG. Food was delicious!
Service was great – very friendly. Nachos are usually “just nachos” but these were particularly good – very fresh, everything about them was great. Flatbread also great. Careful with your seating, though: we had reservations timed for a Yankees game and were seated tucked into a corner where it was great for conversation, but not-so-great for seeing the game. When you’re shown you table, just look around before you commit…
Good place for a quick bite with good food and service.
Quality meat and very good service, price correct,
Just about ok
Excellent place for lunch or especially to watch any game on their many TV’s. Food was delicious I had the apple salad with grilled chicken, which had a Lot of perfectly grilled chicken and was perfectly dressed. My friend had a delicious burger.
The only thing that could have been better was our waiter. Not many patrons in this huge restaurant, yet flagging him down for anything was really a job! I arrived first and ordered a drink and water, he brought just the drink and at the same time sat my guest who had just arrived. He left without taking her drink order and we didn’t see him again for over 10 min. When I finally got his attention we ordered her drink and he started to turn away. He was annoyed when I called him back so we could put in our order. (Weekday lunch...we need to go back to work eventually)
He brought her drink finally and I asked again for water for both of us. Food arrives, we ask for ketchup. He finally brings back 1 water, I get up and get ketchup from another table myself. Never comes back to see if we wanted another drink or anything. We ask for a check and when he brings it he flashes a big smile and gives us a “Have a nice day” Really?
I would go back for lunch or dinner though.
Great food, fast service...we will definitely be coming back during our next visit to NY!
The food was not very good. The steak salad and the steak was like eating cardboard. The calamari and it had no seasoning and was tough. The fried chicken sandwich was cooked in burnt oil and you could taste the oil with every bite. There are plenty of other options in the mid-town area.
The waitress was nasty. Mean. I changed my order and she did not listen and then was defensive. Food was at best average.
Horrible service and the owner was SUPER RUDE. We couldn’t get tap water for 30 minutes and when it finally came it was hot and they didn’t have ice. Then the owner argumented that we had great service and had to pay 18% gratuity. Very understaffed at peak hour.
