Server was outstanding when we asked her about gluten-free options, came back with a very thorough reply. Food quality not great, everything in both plates was overcooked, very bland. Would have sent back but we didn't have time due to an event we had to be at directly after dinner. Also took food about 45 minutes to come out.
We ate here last night for a date night but had our infant in tow. Our waiter was outstanding which makes a huge difference. Quiet enough to have intimate conversation but not so quiet that I felt our sometimes fussy infant was bothering other tables. Deviled eggs were awesome, salmon and beet salad was good, pork shank with chimichurri and polenta was incredible, and steak frites good as well. As someone who quit drinking two years ago, I was both surprised and impressed by the offered mocktails. It gave me a sense of normalcy, as I always enjoyed a fine cocktail with a dinner out. I forget the one I ordered, but it was delicious. I can't think of a single negative.
We had reservation with Open Table and immediately was greeted, seated, ordered, and the meal and drinks were pure perfection! The staff was also perfect!

Our server did a great job. It seemed like everyone was trying their best, but fell a little short on a few fronts. No doubt they were short staffed as I could see the folks in the kitchen really hustling. I'm sure it's very frustrating not to be able to put out your best due to all the issues that face restaurants today--staffing issues, supply chain issues and customers becoming more and more rude and entitled. I totally get it, and I (and everyone reading this should) appreciate everything that service professionals go through on a daily basis to try to bring you a memorable experience, and tip generously. Hang in there guys. This too shall pass.
The menu was sparse and food of mediocre quality compared to the price point. We expected a lot more from the venue.

The scallops and our drinks were good. The pasta primavera was not. The vegetables were burnt. Our sever was working hard, but he had too many tables. This made our service very slow. I would have sent my food back, but by the time we received it, we didn’t have time to wait on anything else.
I’m trying to keep things in perspective because this is a hard time for the restaurant industry right now, but I won’t be going back to The Keep for quite a while. We had 6pm reservations and didn’t get our ordered drinks or appetizer until 7pm. We had tickets to the palace for 7:30 and got our dessert served at 7:30. My chicken entree was served cold. Overall an unpleasant experience.
Great food and service was excellent. Will definitely come back.

Short staffed currently in the culinary department. Food good, but could be way better. The hamburger was great while the burratta salad was missing something. The lobster roll, lobster good, the roll was dumb, like a hamburger roll, just ok.
Cool place - we were there for an early dinner so not many people so the vibe was a bit quiet. Would like to go when there are more people. The steak frites were excellent!

Average food at best in a hotel restaurant. Overpriced.
We did the 2 for Tuesday with a couple of friends.
Was going for the "2 on Tuesdays" special, but only restaurant selected items were available to chose from, rather then the complete menu. Also, even though the staff knew that this was a birthday dinner, not even the desert or coffee was offered to be on the house.
Worst restaurant in Columbus. Absolutely garbage
Very disappointing .. I am amazed dinner could be so different within a three week period. Our server was the best part of this dining experience. The pork chop was dry, overcooked and the pasta was not the same dish we ordered three weeks prior. It’s hard for me to share this review. My hope is it will be eye opening and turn into something productive .. you need to do better.

This was our second meal at The Keep while staying at the Hotel LeVeque. The bar is a great space and the restaurant is good as well. As I remembered it the menu was a bit more interesting the last visit, however in all fairness this could be a covid related issue. Food was good, though didn't impress as much as the first visit. Service was excellent and didn't hurry a dinner with friends in the area we hadn't seen for some time.
Everything went perfect. The steak frites was amazing, juicy and tender. The oysters from New Zealand were outstanding. We were so very happy to be back at this jewel in downtown Columbus.

We’ve had better at The Keep. The drinks were good. I ordered the bourbon smash and my husband had A Martini on the rocks with blue cheese olives. The charcuterie plate had only four small round bread thins. It had two huge slabs of cheddar cheese, a very spicy brie, some goat cheese, nuts and prosciutto, I think. My steak frites was tasty but tough. My husband ordered the parpardalle primavera and he only ate part of it… Just didn’t hit the mark. We were hoping dessert would be a hit but that was just so so. We ordered the chocolate cake which had a filling of peanut butter and banana. The cake was very dense and really lacked any sense of chocolate. We came away very unimpressed. We will probably go back but it will be a while.

I thought the people at the keep were great. I just wasn’t thrilled by the food. I was disappointed you the size of the mushroom dumplings - “tiny” is the best word to describe them. But again the people working here at the keep were really great.
Good and drinks are also great! Love coming here for special occasions!

I was not impressed by the overall experience that I was hoping for. The ambience was lackluster and the food was just okay. Not at all what I had envisioned for an anniversary dinner.
We both had the scallops and they were nice enough to come over and explain they were spicy, so they made one of them without the peppers

This was a birthday dinner .. we did not disclose that information until the end of the meal. Our server was amazing, Kaylie was attentive and informative. She was a delight and we will request her station whenever we return. Also, Tom .. the manager was equally pleasant. Both parties made frequent stops at the table to make sure everything was good. This was quite an excellent experience. Highly recommend the cheesecake as a dessert option ☺️
We had an early dinner, so it wasn't too busy. Our waiter was very helpful and personable. Our food and drink was very good and was served with enough time between courses to enjoy. The cheesecake we had for dessert was delicious! We will definitely return.

Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and staff. Main drawback is that there are no non-dairy options for dinner or brunch which I find surprising in 2021. Also I wish the kitchen staff interacted when you are sitting at the bar.
While a bit confusing to find The Keep on the mezzanine of the LeVeque tower, it is a pleasant venue. The service was great and the food was too. The meatloaf was clearly ground in house and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. We enjoyed the beignets as a light dessert.
From the time The Keep opened, we had wanted to give it a try. Sorry to report that we were disappointed. We had heard mixed reviews about the place and they were correct. Food was OK - Service was OK - Ambience was OK. Will we return? Probably, but only for drinks and apps.

Delicious! I had the Reuben which is actually deep fried. I had a hard time imagining what it would be like when the waiter described it but turned out it was pretty amazing!
My partner had the burger special which was cheeseburger, french fries, and a beer for $14. Great quality food for a good price. Also, we shared the French onion soup as an appetizer and it was delicious. Not too salty, Just delicious flavor and high-quality ingredients. can’t wait to go back again.
It was our first time and everything was great! It was gorgeous and a unique experience. I didn’t give the food a 5, only because most of my salad was slimy lettuce and the steak my husband ordered was a little too rare. Other than that, the rest of the food was absolutely amazing and will be going back for sure.
