While I'm aware that the "times are changing," the offhand manner and ubiquitous tattoos of the wait staff is too off-putting in a establishment reaching for a higher level of customer experience--particularly at this price point. I understand the temptation to "be contemporary" but in the end, I believe that more formality will lead to greater success and duration in the business.
With the first appetizer there was a hair in it. We were seated next to a window without shades & the heat was awful .. finally changed tables. When they knew there was a problem with a/c in that area & still seated us there is beyond me. When actual bill came it was one price then the one needing signed was 20.00 more. Charged twice on my credit card. Two calls to manager & not resolved. Overall very disappointed.
Good food, well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Terrific experience.
We have been really enjoying dinner at The Keep. The ambiance is great and people clearly are enjoying the food, as we do. We had dinner there this past weekend, following a cocktail in the bar, which should not be missed. Overall, the staff are very welcoming and fun. We especially enjoy Hannah, who has waited on us during several of our visits. The oysters are incredibly fresh and there is always a good and varying selection to try. The locally raised Wagyu strip is delicious as is the scallop dish with roasted corn. We like the fact that the menu changes relatively often, and there is a range of fish, beef, and other delicious choices. The ambiance is lively, and we especially enjoy the open kitchen. Overall, just a great vibe--it's more than just the food, which is superb---it's the total experience.
Phenomenal! Great upscale restaurant for special occasion. Nice touch that manager stopped by to inquire how they did. Classic charm.
The food was delicious in a classy atmosphere. The service was outstanding and the drinks were perfect...try The General
We came into Columbus and stayed at the Hotel LeVeque. We happened to be staying during restaurant week so they had a special menu. The tomahawk pork was delicious and the desserts were amazing. It has a cool throwback feel with a good selection craft cocktails. We would definitely stay at LeVeque and hang at the Keep again.
Just an Okay dining experience. Ambiance leaves much to be desired; noisy, too brightly lit, and little warmth. Food quality was uneven—the Brussel sprout appetizer was thoroughly mediocre, the steak entree was much better, good flavor and cooked properly. Dessert was again uneven; my wife’s chocolate brownie was delicious, my strawberry shortcake decidedly less so. While the cocktails were very well done, they are overpriced at $15 for a call brand bourbon Old-fashioned. Servers were adequate though not overwhelmingly friendly. The casual nature of the venue was reflected in both the dress of the customers (lots of shorts and sandals) and even the jeans-dressed hostess. If you’re expecting a downtown fine-dining experience (with all that usually implies), you can do better than The Keep
From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was amazing. This was our first time at the restaurant and our party of four all commented that we will return. A very pleasant surprise indeed.
Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere.
Great restaurant! Would definitely reccomend for restaurant week. The watermelon salad was amazing as well as the pork.
Inviting ambiance, good food and lovely waitress. We came from restaurant week expecting to order the prix fix dinner. Two of us ordered off the menu- watermelon salad and brussel sprouts appetizer and the salmon. All were delicious. Tow of us ordered the prix fix selection which was also very good. We'll definitely come again.
Great food! Quiet and easy to converse with friends
I had salmon; deliciosa! All the entrees looked interesting with not the usual preparations. Our dinner was excellent and my instinct is everything on the menu is really good and expertly put together.
This was by far an excellent choice for my mothers birthday brunch she’s very hard to please when it comes to food she doesn’t eat pork so there were multiple food choices and everything was great the quality of the food was excellent and the prices were also great can’t wait to go again and again
The food was nothing special at all. Very disappointed but they did make it right, and the space is beautiful. I'd recommend the bar/cocktails but not the food. Thanks
The food was just OK. Great ambiance & service but pricey considering the food was just meh.
We went before fireworks on July 3rd. Food & drinks were great. Service was a little bit slow.
It was amazing. I will definitely go again
Went there for the monthly dinner experience what a great thing to do locally. Will be back
Mediocre food, overpriced small portions. Supposedly the new spring menu is in place, looks like the same tired entrees. Too bad downtown options are so limited
This was by far one of the worst breakfast “buffets” we have been to in Columbus. It was expensive and pretty much uneatable. We spent 250$ and went to eat after. Absolute disappointment. Somewhat ruined Father’s Day. Great location, horrible food.
Went for their brunch. Definitely a must try. It is in the Leveque building downtown and has an amazing ambience and decor. Service is top notch.
Excellent food in a beautifully renovated hotel space. Service was top-notch. The craft cocktails were well done and they had a varied wine list.
Had the seafood tower which had beautifully fresh and tasty choices. All three of our entries had unique combinations which were perfectly cooked. Desserts were house-made and excellent.
Server was attentive but not overly so.
Great ambience , outstanding food and amazing wait staff
Very nice exterior and interior of hotel. Friendly and delicious. Would definitely recommend!
A bit noisy for 8pm.
Drinks were great.
Appetizers were a interesting take on onion soup and corn chowder. Different but good.
Chicken entre was amazing. Iron steak was cold and had to be sent back. They sent out a whole new steak. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The lemon sorbet was a bit too tart but the peach cobbler was excellent. French press coffee 👍🏻👍🏻
Service was excellent with manager checking in.
The Leveque Tower is beyond beautiful. Service was exceptional and fast. Enjoyed the mussels and steak frites. Their wine advice was spot on. Very comfortable and laid back even though it has an extremely high end overall feel. Ended up eating for over 2 1/2 hours.
I thought the food was really good. The egg in the hole was my least favorite dish. It was kinda bland or needed another sauce to go with it. French toast and mushroom omelet was very good. Their coffee is alittle on the strong side for my liking. Needed alot of cream to tone it down. The service was just ok. Seemed to be understaffed with only 2 servers and 1 that was in training. I was bummed at the fact their bartender was a no show so we couldn't try the bloody Mary's or other cocktails they had for breakfast.
Late Dinners after Arts Festival at Keep was quite good. Server was friendly and professional. She knew the menu well.
Food was okay but over priced for cost. I dont mind paying good money for good food but this was just okay.
Good food, good service, and a cool place for a bonus. The salmon was gorgeous, the green curry brussels dynamite, and the negroni on point. My friend got the tomahawk chop - reported as delicious- which looked world class. We'll be back!
The service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for date night. Everything we had to eat was so delishious! Drinks, Trout Dip, Steak, Pork, and Peach Pie ...Yum!
I ordered shrimp cocktail but got what, after looking at the menu at home, seems to have been spicy Creole shrimp. Should have sent it back. Wine list is very marked up, the German Riesling is a quarter of the price at Giant Eagle. This was our second visit and altho the food at times can be quite good [my salmon was fine], overall something is lacking. Just finding the restaurant is a challenge and parking in the garage will set you back ten dollars. Waiter was pleasant and not overly attentive which is fine by us.
Slow service food ok
The food and service were excellent! This is one of if not the best brunch in the city! I’m hoping that they start a regular Sunday brunch buffet....
My family enjoyed the Mother’s Day brunch. The special menu was very good, and the French-style desserts were excellent! Looking forward to return and taste the regular menu.
Mother’s Day brunch had a wide selection overall. I didn’t think the roasted vegetables were as warm as I expected but it would be difficult to do that without over cooking them. Overall still one of our favorite restaurants. Beautiful setting.
Food was excellent with exception of the chicken which was not good at all.
Server was a bit snarky but not too bad.
