We stumbled upon this place and it is now our go to place to enjoy a quiet drink in amazing surroundings. There is something special about the Keel that can only be found by enjoying a drink there. The ambiance is atmospheric. Staff super friendly. Prices affordable. This is a place you need to experience if in the area!

A great drop in spot for drinks and snacks. We were expecting a full menu but it was explained that a full menu would be returning. Great ambience and service. Would definitely return.

The food menu was up on the website right up until the day we went. We booked to have dinner. Got there and there was basically no food available except snacks for drinks. We were told "This only just changed a few days ago". Good idea to update your website if you decided to stop serving food. It also put the wait staff in an awkward position. The bar downstairs was lovely though the the cassava chips were epic.

The beverage menu was extensive and the cocktail list was extensive and the rum range excellent. The quality of the drinks was very good, well presented and enjoyable. We ordered bread & dip to enjoy with them but we were still waiting for an hour after the order was placed, after checking twice on the progress - so we canceled it as we decided to leave and try somewhere else. The venue was very quiet - so no excuses. The service was also very lame. This place has a long way to go if they intend to continue trading.

We were very happy with the service, standard of alcohol and ambience of the Keel. We were also happy that we could actually make a booking and that the young staff were all so helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again. thank you for having us

I booked online for Saturday lunch using Open Table and then confirmed the booking the day before when prompted by the Open Table process. My party and I turned up only to find the restaurant didn’t open for another 4 hours. I had tried to call them during the week to confirm dietaries and on the day to find out why my reservation was accepted but they don’t have a phone number. All in all a very poor customer experience.

We organised a surprise function for a dear friend's hens involving a cheeky life drawing class. The Keel’s management happily accommodated, and boy was she pleasantly surprised! The staff were very lovely and Lain’s margaritas were delicious! Once done sketching, we continued with drinks on the balcony overlooking some of Circular Quay. It was a wonderful afternoon with great staff and atmosphere at an ideal location.
