The place is really clean, well decorated with a nice atmosphere and service staff were completely lovely and doing their absolute best. No shame on them - they were the best! BUT the website wasn't clear about this (or we didn't spot it) they *only* do pizzas, not a whole menu of foods. They also have a very small oven, so cooking is slow. We booked for 20, arriving at 6pm, and they didn't have enough pizza bases for all of us (what were they going to do for the rest of Friday night? Why accept the booking?). So some of our party had to go away disappointed and some just got a cheeky Chinese and ate it at the table. Bit of a shame for the birthday celebration we'd planned, and wouldn't go again. But the pizzas themselves were really good. Maybe go with a small party, early, and only if you want just pizza - and call ahead to see if they have any left!

I traveled 2 hours to Nottingham for Mother’s Day lunch (son at uni) We walked in to find only 2 people in the whole place, and the bar lady said “they do NOT serve food anymore “ & was very sorry 🤷🏽‍♀️😳 Open table should not be booking people in

We arrived just before 13:00 and the place was closed with no sign of life. Big waste of our trip to Nottingham!

High quality as Tony and his staff always make us feel welcome, Beer is great,food is wonderful, thoroughly recommend the Johnsons to anybody looking for a good pint and great company.
