We had a fantastic experience with our first time at the Jimmy! We split the pasta with corn and crab meat, and then the Quatro Formaggi pizza. Both were absolutely amazing! Drinks were just okay, but definitely willing to try others. We will be back to try the other items on the menu we were excited about! And definitely recommend!!

Food was overpriced for what it was and definitely didn’t taste as good as expected. Bread service, albeit an inexpensive menu item, was disappointing. They were out of the dessert we wanted. They definitely missed the mark this time.

We love The Jimmy! Brought some friends for their first time and everything was perfect! Food is always fresh & delicious, great cocktail & wine selection. Our server Amber was personable and great. One of our favorite spots in CLT for Italian!

First - beautiful open seating area and a great looking patio! Food was delicious - pasta from scratch and portions were just right. Now to the cons. Service was weird. We were there to celebrate a birthday which the hostess and the person who sat us confirmed ….but after seating, nothing - no further well wishes to the birthday person from the server or acknowledgment. Second, the server was super nice but the attentiveness just not as to be expected from this type restaurant. Orders slow to be taken, dishes slow to be cleared, checks slow…you get my point. And it was not a crowded / full setting either and plenty of staff standing who could help helped out. The food was great enough that another chance is definitely warranted, but if the experience repeats itself overall, it will be a two and done.

First time at the Jimmy- food AND service were great. Starter chopped salad to split for 3 people was right size portion and fresh. Pizza was one of the best we’ve had at a restaurant and they were agreeable to let us substitute toppings and make additions. So nice! Limoncello with gelato for dessert was the perfect choice to end the meal! Sat outside and noise was moderate but fun. Flies were bad- we needed a small tabletop fan to keep away the bugs. But it is summertime in the south so…all relative. Will absolutely go back!

The chopped salad was very good, a bit spicy but loved it. The Pizza was fair. I like more cheese and red sauce. The waitress brought me a little dish with more red sauce, but I would have liked it on the pizza... I will order other things next time.

Cannot say enough good things about The Jimmy! Every dish we had was top notch - paccheri, conchigle, chop salad, ravioli, Cacio y Pepe, orecchiette. Service was warm, welcoming and very efficient. Loved the covered porch and jazzy music.

Sunday brunch for three today was excellent! We've dined at The Jimmy several times, and this was our second weekend brunch outing. Our server, Amber, was fantastic. Two of us ordered the Porchetta Hash and the other ordered the Creme Brulee French Toast. All of our dishes were delicious. On our previous brunch visit, four of us ordered the Benedict and it was fabulous as well. The Jimmy is the perfect casual weekend brunch spot, and we look forward to our next visit!

I found food really salty. Salmon, pizza, chicken, salads, potatoes, cauliflower were all ok. Nothing was really good or really bad. Key lime cheese cake was also really average. We ended up sharing the desert and leaving half of it. Food in Charlotte tends to very average. We had a reservation but were seated right in front of the kitchen so noise level was through the roof. You could not hear yourself think. I will not be back.

Food was fantastic, start to finish. Nice variety on the menu. Love the East Fork pottery dishes! Service could use a little extra training on removing empty plates, glasses, but was overall friendly and attentive.

We had a lovely evening at The Jimmy. The food was wonderful and our server, Walter, was fabulous. Three Jimmy staffers dropped by to ask about our evening. They managed to do so without being intrusive. We felt special, as I’m sure all their patrons do.

I love pasta carbonara and cacio e Pepe which are almost never offered in the US. I don’t know why: they are offered in every restaurant in Rome and the rest of southern Italy. Anyway both dishes are great at The Jimmy. Carbonara offered only at lunch. Cacio e Pepe only at dinner.

You all have got to fix the noise problem it was horrific, carpet the floors and put something on ceiling to absorb noise it was painful and not enjoyable to be in a place that has such potential. The food was amazing and the manager took good care of us. This could be a make or break for this restaurant.

I love the Jimmy. Time after time it never fails to disappoint. We started with the Hummus and let me tell you…Run as fast as you can to get one of those! Also enjoyed the Quattro Formagi pizza and the chicken panini which were both to die for. Overall amazing experience and the service was awesome as always. Zach & Walter were our servers and they were amazing super attentive and kind! The managers Sarah & Tommy also helped make it a wonderful experience. We even had a chance to talk to the sous chefs Mark & Delaney whom were kind enough to come out and talk to us! I can’t brag enough on the Jimmy but definitely will be back in the future!

The server was very knowledgeable. He was prompt in refilling our waters and drinks, but also gave us space to talk. The food is immaculately presented and incredibly delicious. Manager made a table call and ensured everything was to order. Excellent night!
