Have been to The Ivy several times before with no problems. Service was slow, three/four entrees came out wrong. One came out wrong twice. Servers were ambivalent. Will never return.

The service was outstanding. It was my Mother's 50th Birthday and they made her feel extremely special.

Thank You.

First visit to LA and the Ivy. My friend and I were completely impressed by the Ivy- highlight of our trip. We had an early breakfast and it felt like the scene had been set just for us....fresh flowers going up all around us. Service was exceptional, we were greeted ever so warmly and given complimentary champagne before our meal and cookies after. Food was amazing and attention to detail was noteworthy. My future visits to LA will certainly include meals at the Ivy.

Typically, I always have a very nice experience at the Ivy. We do frequent the restaurant as much as possible when in the area. This particular visit I would rate poorly, primarily due to seating location (it had moderate capacity on out door patio... and my wife, daughter and I were sat in the corner on a small table on the front patio), and the service. The waiter was late, and not polite.
For the price, I always expect a stellar visit. this visit fell short of that for reasons that surely could have been avoided.

Wonderful experience at Ivy. Service was excellent, knowledgeable and respectful. Very personalized and friendly hosts and wait staff from the moment we entered. The food was outstanding! I ordered the Cobb salad and it was the best one I have ever eaten. We sat next to the fireplace and enjoyed our time immensely. Loved the fresh flowers and atmosphere. I will certainly return to Ivy on my next visit to Los Angeles.

This is a must for anyone visiting LA. You'll be greeted with a glass of Champagne while you wait for your table. The decor is very feminine, with chintz and fresh flowers all over the place. Servers all wear Liberty-print ties. The food is very good, and you'll leave feeling stuffed and happy. One downside is the place is small and you may feel a bit squished. You'll leave with a box of chocolate chip cookies that are only so-so. Microwave them at home to soften them up.

Our food was excellent and the service is superb. Free champagne before being seated was a nice touch. I indicated on the open table reservation that we were celebrating my friends birthday and the brought out a sampling of deserts for her at the end of our meal. Highly recommend The Ivy!!!

A faithful customer for more than thirty years, I have made The Ivy my go-to restaurant for many occasions. As its once-trendy neighborhood has declined, so has the luster from The Ivy's beautiful roses. During Oscar weekend, the restaurant turned into a bonafide freak show. Tacky tourists, poor service, and uninspired food. Maybe the riff-raff hasn't made its way to The Shore.

Absolutely loved The Ivy!! We arrived early for our reservation and were still seated right away. The service and food were excellent. We received champagne when we first arrived and cookies to go. It was the cutest restaurant, I loved the colors and decorations. I will definitely be going back during my next visit to California!!

This is where you go when you want to do the quintessential LA tourist thing. The food is delicious, but it's spendy and about 20% more than it needs to be. We're talking about $30-35 for a salad. However, everyone knows this going in--or you should!! There is champagne on the house while you wait, beautiful fresh roses everywhere, and the ambience is very charming. Great patio in good weather. Staff are professional and accommodating. We loved everything. Don't expect to see celeb sightings--that more or less stopped years ago.

Perfect spot for breakfast. Champagne and strawberry lemonade served before you dine. Complimentary raisin scones are delicious. Fresh roses on every table and country French design create a wonderful ambiance. The wait staff is courteous and friendly. Pricey, but worth it.

Made reservations as I was afraid with it being such a small, quaint place, we wouldn't get a table. There were 4 of us. We arrived early. Used the valet parking. The offered us champagne as soon as we walked in (breakfast time). We were seated right away and our food came quickly. Very pleasant experience. We loved it. Was hoping to see someone famous. ha! Prices are a little high, but I guess we were just there for the experience. It was a birthday for 3 out of the 4 us so they brought us a dessert with a huge sparkling candle. We really loved this!

Terrific ambiance. Attentive staff. My only complaint was that I felt
My server really tried to up-sell us the bigger pricier lobster, and a higher priced glass of wine.
You can't come here on a
Tight budget obviously but nevertheless don't push the customer to squeeze a few more bucks out of us.
The menu is extensive and everything was very tasty.

Considering the rain and the navigation that didn't take us far down the street enough, it was great.
From the time we sat down and was all lovely from there on out.

Good food, good drinks and great service.
