Wonderful! Service is a little slower than it should be, but wonderful experience overall.
Wonderful dinner. Food was great and place was charming. Loved the special touches like champagne upon arrival and cookies when you leave. Great special occasion place.
Great food and service. Can’t go wrong here
A great stable. Always beautiful with quality food. The perfect place to bring out-of-town guests. I was a little disappointed they didn’t participate in Dine LA week
I went with my 3 friends and i enjoyed the food and ambiance although i did think the prices were steep but after all it is Beverly Hills. I would go back just more of a special occasion place to me.
Girls brunch, an excellent choice!
This is the best restaurant I have ever been to! It had charm atmosphere incredible service and delicious food! I highly recommend it!!
The Ivy is always the go to place any time you are looking for a fun meal and looking for a place to go.
The Ivy is always consistently excellent which is a rarity these days. The service and food beyond the atmosphere were as usual excellent. But an Italian waiter Carmelo made it that much more special. Went above and beyond to leave my friend and I with a memorable experience.
Watch out for the minimum order
We were welcomed with a fabulous glass of champagne which just added to the excitement of dining at The Ivy. The ambiance, service and food exceeded my expectations and can't wait to come back and dine here again!
The service was excellent. The food was delicous, taste like it came straight from the farm. Large portions so it’s worth every penny. Nice outdoor seating area. Love the ambiance so colorful.
We adore the Ivy and eat there often. We have our favorite dishes, of course...but always have a great meal no matter what we order. Portions are large...leave room. The rooms are funky and pretty and the table roses are always uplifting.
I treated my teen and her friend for a special lunch they had burgers and fries and bottled water for lunch With tax and tip the bill was over $85,
Burgers for lunch should never be this expensive. Once in a lifetime treat
the atmosphere is very beautiful, but the menu options are not very different for the value, we were on a day where other customers were doing very often and with behavior not familiar, our family was bothered with such a din
Iconic restaurant, great food but waiter forgot our drinks. We waited then asked another waiter walking by for our drinks...
This place is definitely an institution, and it has that title for a reason. Free champagne while you wait to be seated, beautiful fresh cut roses on each table. The scones they put down were dry, but the jam was good. I ordered the lobster pasta which was delicious. Was it worth $60? I don't know, but you don't go to The Ivy to save money. Overall a fun brunch with a friend, and a great once a year experience.
Overpriced and outdated. $33 for an omelette with a couple tablespoons of potatoes and nothing else. Seating indoors is uncomfortable and awkwardly placed. Never again.
Food and ambiance are top notch!
Excellent meal, service and ambiance! Our first time at the Ivy and we were so pleased with the entire experience. We can't wait to go back!
I was expecting a bit of a tourist trap. But honestly the food was amazing. We had the lobster ravioli, swordfish tacos and fish and chips. Each dish was delicious. Pricey, but if your expected less you haven’t done your homework. Cute atmosphere. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice touch.
The moment we arrived we were welcomed with great energy and friendly smiles. The staff definitely made this experience perfect. The chilaquiles were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming again.
Extremely expensive for average food and portions. Lovely atmosphere.
unfortunately the quality of the food was awful for what you pay
maybe need get a new cook
Staff aren’t welcoming and personable.
We made reservations at the Ivy about 3 minutes after we booked our California trip, on a Thursday at 2:00. Got there right on time, had complimentary champagne while we waited maybe 10 minutes for our table. The young man who seated us was super friendly, let us know our table would be just a few minutes. We were seated outside right by the entrance, great for people watching. Our waiter Chris was fantastic, made a some drink suggestion, the rosé sangria- perfect on a hot day. We ordered the sea bass prepared with capers and white wine, the sea bass prepared with balsamic, tomatoes and artichoke, and the house made pasta with lobster and crab meat. Holy cow, we all absolutely loved the food! We HAD to have dessert of course, the hot pecan square, the key lime pie, and the blackberry apple crumble, plus an espresso martini. Excellent. This was by far the most expensive meal I’ve ever had, the bill came to $330, but it was (the three of us agreed) completely worth it.
None of us could believe the prices at this place! I thought i was in las vegas. Our meals were all so so and and the servers were not particluarly friendly or attentive. Beautiful roses at each table did not mitigate the negatives at this restaurant
Unfriendly snobbish staff.Very dissapointing
Love the ambiance & service was amazing. Very attentive staff and incredibly friendly. Had a wonderful welcome with complementary champagne & memorable exit with complementary cookies. Scallops with coconut curry was spot on! Had the crab salad dish which was generously garnished with lump crab meat but wasn’t a fan of the dressing but wait staff was happy to offer another dressing. Would go back for the ambience, service & maybe try for the lobster next visit.
Wonderful experience as always! What a fine dining restaurant should be!
Haven’t been to the Ivy in 4 years, still my favorite restaurant in LA
I had branzino, which came with spinach and white beans. The fish was delicious, but the spinach was overcooked. I also had a side dish of snap peas. Snap peas don't need to be cooked at all if they're good. These were overcooked to the point of falling apart on the fork.
A must visit every time we come to LA. Beautiful ambiance and flavorful food. Extremely kind staff.
Waiters are so rude! Their attitudes are not polite.
Furthermore one of them dropped a glass of water to our table and my kid’s food was also ruined but he even did not apologize. The other one brought the receipt before we asked as if expecting us to leave although it was less than 1,5 hour since we sat but we had 2hr reservation according to the OpenTable.
Foods was average. Margarita pizza was so dry. I would prefer even Pizza Hut. Grilled vegetable salat was also looking like a slurry with mashed avocado and had slightly grilled shrimp. Grilled salmon also has average taste.
Neither the food nor the service quality worths paying triple price.
What’s the most frustrating is being forced to pay 18% gratitude though we were disappointed with the service quality.
I love just the roses and the decorations.
Inside is smelling very bad so happy to be in outside atmosphere. This is the only satisfying thing but I still would not recommend.
Lunch was superb, the staff were world class and the fresh flowers made a magnificent meal very memorable.
I took my 17 year old daughter and a friend while visiting colleges. Restaurant was beautiful. We sat inside at a small table where they placed two ladies right next to us less than a foot away. They were extremely loud and we heard their conversation the whole time.
We ordered three appetizers and two mains. The waiter told me there is a minimum of two starters or one main per person. I’m not a math genius but that seems to be the correct amount of what I ordered since there were three of us- actually more than enough, but he made a point to tell me and then told me to order a $35 dollar salad. I explained that I believed we did order enough but he just pointed out other options. There was way too much food which we did not finish.
The experience was rushed and we were done in less than an hour.
I would not go back as this is a way overpriced tourist trap. The food was average but definitely not worth the $260 dollar price tag for a lunch for three where I was sitting on top of my neighbor. I should have listened to my instincts and avoided it.
