The servers were great and attentive. They serve complimentary champagne while you wait for your table. The food was good I ordered the Avi tuna and crab salad.

Table was really small and we asked to move the flowers for more room and they said they couldn’t.

The service and atmosphere at The Ivy can’t be beat. Also the both the lobster and swordfish tacos are a delight! Also love the flowers.

Had been to the Ivy before and we were not disappointed by going back again. Food and service was excellent. The champagne while waiting for the table is a nice touch!!

The Ivy is always good, the free glass of fizz on arrival is a great touch and the service is very good. The only issue was they no longer do the half salad option for lunch which I used to love having if you don't have a huge appetite!

Loved it. Crowd dies down at 4pm so great even with crowd. Food good. Will return. Reservations made it smoother.

It was fine. I personally am not sure I understand the hype. There was a big rush to seat us, and then a big rush to get us out a free the table. I assume The Ivy’s popularity is more related to whichever famous might be there. My friend said I HAD to go. We did overhear a man (very loudly) relating to his lunch partners how he rode in a helicopter with JZ over the Vatican. Yawn.

The Pancakes were okay. It is such a cute place and the service is EXCELLENT. Complimentary champagne arrival is the best welcome. The menu is 70% seafood so if you like seafood it looks pretty good and I don't eat seafood. Of course it is pricey but hey you're paying for the experience too.

Great experience overall. The pancakes and the omelette were the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Highly recommend.

Birthday brunch at The Ivy was AMAZING! The food was delicious and the service was IMPECCABLE. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just everyday dining. It being a hot spot made it even more fun and interesting.

We ordered caesar salad, pizza margherita and hot seafood platters. The salad and pizza were too salty, forcing you to drink nonstop. As for the seafood platters, totally not worth the price. We could have had several fantastic dinners with the money I spent in this restaurant. I DO NOT recommend the restaurant at all.

Lucky to get our request for the patio on a warm, sunny day. Birthday lunch for my friend because the Ivy makes every meal feel like a special occasion. Chris & team gave us excellent attention, food came fast and was delicious, passion fruit martinis were remarkable! The Ivy has never let me down in 30 years!

ALWAYS CONSISTENT FOOD AND A WONDERFUL PATIO TO DINE AND DRINK ON WHEN THE WEATHER IS BEAUTIFUL. LUXURIOUS PITCHERS OF ROSES ON EVERY TABLE. A REFRESHINGLY FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND SERVICE ORIENTED STAFF. LOVE EVERY DETAIL FROM ARRIVAL CHAMPAGNE TO CLASSICALLY CHEERY POTTERY ON THE TABLES. THE ONLY POSSIBLE NEGATIVE WAS THE MUSIC, WHILE WELL SELECTED, WAS A BIT LOUD FOR CONVERSATION.

You are really paying for the reputation and history more than a great meal. The service was quite good and the overall ambience was very pleasant. I expected to pay a hefty bill, and I did, which is fine for a touristy lunch.

Bday dinner for friends visiting from uk. Booked one month ago as they were excited to celebrate at the ivy. Unbelievably rude maItre D tried to move us as not all our table were seated, my son was literally taking a photo on the street, he joined us moments later but the evening had been ruined sadly by my husband being shouted at by the rudest restaurant staff I have ever encountered. I will never come to this restaurant again.

Chose The Ivy because of the reviews but were disappointed in the lack of flavor in the meals we got. A bit overpriced for the quality of the food we received, was expecting better. We did like all the lights decorating the outside of the restaurant, very festive looking.

We were visiting from Texas and went for brunch. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was lively and classy. From the moment you are greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne to the beautiful roses on every table...you knew it was going to be a special afternoon.

The salmon Benedict was divine, eggs poached to perfection with the freshest salmon ever. I had the sauce on the side, which was on point.

I highly recommend The Ivy for a ladies luncheon on the outdoor porch.

This was only our second opportunity to be in the Los Angeles area (the first being the 2013 NCAA Football Champ @Rose Bowl), however it was a "must do" this time with our daughters and saved it for a special brunch treat on the day of our departure. Always a fine meal, and excellent service. The Ivy is truly a "one of a kind" worth making time to sample if only in town for even a few days. The crab, regardless of preparation, is often the best and most consistent in terms of taste and fresh quality. My girls, 13 and 16 loved not only their food, but every minute of their experience in such an exquisite venue. I feel it safe to say that then next time we find ourselves in the area, I will have already made reservations. Oh, and ask for more scones....

We dined as a family at the Ivy based on a recommendation from a fried who is from LA....great spot....food was great & portion size was much bigger than we expected. Dessert was huge - suggest order the famous Banana Split & share among 4 people! Great wine list, service was impeccable & ambiance was fantastic. Was worth the spend & will go back if ever we are back in LA. (also spotted a celeb while there!)
