Overall dining experience was great! Friendly staff, large meals in a relaxing environment.
Fabulous way to celebrate my 23rd birtjday!
Great meal as always.
Great experience as always
It was nice however we told the waiter we wanted regular tap water and was charged for flat water which was almost $12 for one bottle. Secondly we were demanded to order three items minimum. My friend doesn’t eat seafood so the options were slim. We went with the cheapest option $19 guacamole and tortillas (came with 3-4tortillas) ..we asked for a couple more tortillas and was charged $5 then on top of all these extra charges, we were charged a split fee another $5... which I didn’t think was fair. However on a positive note they gave us free glass of champagne which was so sweet for a birthday toast and also sent out a beautiful birthday desert.. so it wok
Chris is the best server ever. Great food
We eat here several times a month. This time the noise level was higher than usual because inclement weather sent all diners inside. Normally, a certain percentage of patrons would be seated outside.
The Ivy is classic. What a beautiful place to celebrate. The food, the service, the ambience inside and out. The complementary bubbles. Highly recommend.
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.
We came to celebrate my friends birthday . This was a redo after poor service and lack of acknowledgement for a prior bday celebration of my daughter. It was an outstanding experience ! Fabulous service !! And a wonderful courtesy acknowledgement of my friends birthday . Everything was perfect this time and we will be back again . The Ivy reclaimed its reputation in our family !
Absolutely fabulous! The staff, the premises, the food. All lived well up to our expectations. We’ll be back!
The experience was good over all. Probably won't go back. Very expensive. Our server was OK, but he was more concerned about the larger table next to us, instead of my daughter and I.
The spot is a must the food and service are Amazing!!!
Will make this a must every time I visit LA. The food was great and the ambiance was so enjoyable!!
Portions were very very small. Service was very slow. Very disappointing meal
Thanksgiving was very special at the Ivy
I know this restaurant has been on the LA Fabulous list for ever but WOW! So beautiful, quaint and delicious! This my new date nite, birthday, out of town guests, EVERYTHING, go to restaurant.
Expensive but worth it! We have visited Ivy many times and it has become a tradition when we visit L.A.
Quaint spot in Beverly Hills with patio/outdoor seating. Received a glass of champagne on the house while we waited for our table. Great service and food. Posh ambiance and guests.
Muy bien atendida y buena recomendación para comer
Everything about The Ivy is delightful - except that they don’t allow outside wine!
I requested to sit outside since it was my moms bday. We were placed by their “ free champagne table “. Worsssse seats ever. So much foot traffic and the music was so loud. I understand places do that so you can eat your food faster and leave but this was obnoxious... We spent a lot of money for lunch but it was spoiled by the hordes of people pushing against us to get their free drink. :/ sorry not sorry The Ivy, moms bday lunch was super lame. I’ve had better experiences here before but that day, fail. ...
Excellent in every aspect, except the price is a bit steep (the Lobster).
Fabulous ambiance and food!
The atmosphere is amazing. Quaint , cozy and romantic Very comfortable The staff was professional, attentive and courteous. The food just ok. I ordered raw oysters on the half shell. The chef left none of the natural juices on the shell. And did not separate the meat from the shell at al Which I found odd. I had the fried chicken. It is a large portion. My friend and I split it since it was recommended. I don’t make it a habit to have fried food but wanted to try. Unfortunately there was small pieces of bone in the fried chicken. Although very tasty
I would definitely go back as it is a lovely restaurant. I would just be more picky about my food choice. The price is quite expensive for what you get.
An excellent restaurant for a long lunch in LA.
Wonderful! I had forgotten how absolutely wonderful the food is and how perfectly beautiful the setting is for a gathering.
Loved dining at The Ivy! It was our arrival day from the East Coast so we decided to do a Happy Hour/Dinner. Not too many people there so very low key compared to other times I have been there. Service was great and food was yummy! Next time, I am going to go for brunch/lunch. Beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous LA weather!
Like always one of The Best.
Incredible menu and food. Amazing ambience. Great people watching. Impeccable service.
Nice place as to ambiance and waiter was good but food was average to below average especially considering the price. Paid over $300 for three of us no alcohol and did not felt like I got $100 worth of food based upon taste. Not much flavor not much portions. Felt hungry right after.
beautiful establishment, well worth the $$$$ price
Simply put: my favorite LA restaurant.
Fodd and ambiance always wonderful
Service however was lacking to say the least
Waiter a long time to take our orders
our entrees were almost finished before we received our wine.
Disappointed since it is such an iconic place
The food was marginal. The wait staff was robotic and impersonal. Disappointing. .
Great staff , fresh and great food beautiful design
We got more than we except for our anniversary
Amazing, iconic LA venue. Nice food and great welcome with a champagne on arrival. But let down by poor service after that . All felt rushed. No water top ups. No offer of more drinks. Bill came half way through dessert with no offer of anything further.
Great place, but slight disappointing on the Tuesday night we attended.
I ordered the menu at the recommendation of the waiter. My husband and I visited together and asked if the menu was suitable for them to eat. The waiter said it was enough for two women to eat. The amount of lobster pasta, wagyu steak and risotto was huge and besides pasta, the taste was too greasy. Wagyu steak was too greasy for the scaffold, so I had two points and left everything behind. I was surprised to see the receipt. The total came to $670. The old waiter joked that we were young and tourists. It feels like I've been robbed. It was the worst lunch in the world.
