Loved dining at The Ivy! It was our arrival day from the East Coast so we decided to do a Happy Hour/Dinner. Not too many people there so very low key compared to other times I have been there. Service was great and food was yummy! Next time, I am going to go for brunch/lunch. Beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous LA weather!
Like always one of The Best.
Incredible menu and food. Amazing ambience. Great people watching. Impeccable service.
Nice place as to ambiance and waiter was good but food was average to below average especially considering the price. Paid over $300 for three of us no alcohol and did not felt like I got $100 worth of food based upon taste. Not much flavor not much portions. Felt hungry right after.
beautiful establishment, well worth the $$$$ price
Simply put: my favorite LA restaurant.
Fodd and ambiance always wonderful
Service however was lacking to say the least
Waiter a long time to take our orders
our entrees were almost finished before we received our wine.
Disappointed since it is such an iconic place
The food was marginal. The wait staff was robotic and impersonal. Disappointing. .
Great staff , fresh and great food beautiful design
We got more than we except for our anniversary
Amazing, iconic LA venue. Nice food and great welcome with a champagne on arrival. But let down by poor service after that . All felt rushed. No water top ups. No offer of more drinks. Bill came half way through dessert with no offer of anything further.
Great place, but slight disappointing on the Tuesday night we attended.
I ordered the menu at the recommendation of the waiter. My husband and I visited together and asked if the menu was suitable for them to eat. The waiter said it was enough for two women to eat. The amount of lobster pasta, wagyu steak and risotto was huge and besides pasta, the taste was too greasy. Wagyu steak was too greasy for the scaffold, so I had two points and left everything behind. I was surprised to see the receipt. The total came to $670. The old waiter joked that we were young and tourists. It feels like I've been robbed. It was the worst lunch in the world.
I get the place is a go-to for a few of the tourists that is visiting the city. Yet, the waiters keep getting things wrong. The servers brought wrong drinks/food twice and got confused with table arrangement while we were dining. The waiter didn't get me any option of sitting outside. There were plenty of open tables inside, yet the waiter won't let me sitting in at my reservation time, until my friend got here.
The food is average, not amazing or mind-blowing, but more so average. The inside French decoration is, well, if you are here for this, then, you will get a pretty IG photo.
When we are in Beverly Hills, we ALWAYS go to the Ivy. The roses around the restaurant are awesome and so beautiful. The food is varied and delicious whether breakfast or lunch. And to receive a free glass of Champagne upon arrival and a cookie upon leaving is just an added touch. Great time always!
It doesn’t get better! Beautiful place and experience- every time!
One of my favourite restaurants
The ivy had great food! We ordered the steak and eggs and the lobster omelet dish along with a strawberry and mango mojito. Service was incredible and the food was awesome!
Great place, we love it.
Our server brought us a complimentary glass of champagne when we arrived, and they gave us a delicious cookie as we left. The ambiance is dreamy, and the heat lamps made it pleasant even on a chilly night. I highly recommend.
The restaurant was perfect, highly recommend it to everyone.
Staff are very friendly and the ambiance is amazing.
My husband and I had a nice, quiet anniversary dinner there tonight. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable.
Complimentary champagne was nice touch.
When coming to the Ivy it’s always a hit or miss. The food this time was underwhelming and the service was lacking some polish. It’s always packed with a beautiful setting and certainly some laughs when you do some people watching.
Excellent food and even better service in a great setting
Delicious! Loved everything. The plates are served generously
One of my new favorite restaurants in L.A.! Great ambiance. Will definitely visit again.
It is lovely to have breakfast at The Ivy.
The ambiance is wonderful and the roses everywhere are gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food however could stand some improvement.
The breakfast hash browns my friend ordered were very greasy and she wasn’t able to eat them and the poached eggs were a bit underdone.
Otherwise I love The Ivy for everything else it is from the fabulous cushions all over the place to the pink-shirted waiters who are all very nice!
Excelente todo, 100% recomendado.
Since the ambiance was so nice I didn't think the food was going to be good but the waiter was so attentive and gave perfect suggestions for healthy eating and vegan choices.
My favorite restaurant of all time! So gorgeous. This lunch was especially fun!
Birthday lunch for 3 at 2:30 pm. Overall good experience. Quite pricy for fairly simple food. Great service. Carne Asada plate was great. Shrimp tacos just ok. Grilled lime chicken/rice was dry. Guacamole and fresh corn tortillas were delicious as well as the 3 flavors of sorbet. We had a glass of chardonnay, champagne spritzer and ice tea. Total bill including tip was $280. We sat outside on patio. Great service never rushed. We sat next to rapper, Ja Rule. Hollywood tour buses stopped to acknowledge and speak to him on megaphone. It was a fun, expensive lunch!
Horrible horrible horrible. Staff not a second professional, food less than average, prices- as if it was a Michelin-starred restaurant. Went there because of a friend (tourist in town) and it couldn’t be worse, honestly
I had a great time for my birthday brunch with my best friend. I wasn’t expected for special birthday cake from the restaurant. It was so surprising and I love it . Also I love the cookie at the end
Music was overwhelmingly loud but staff turned down the volume after we complained
Great place to eat, with amazing service.
Beautiful place !!
This has turned into a real tourist destination. They were overbooked and we were seated 30 minutes late and inside not on the patio as requested. The food is OK but not what it used to be. It is very pricey for what you receive. Waiter couldn’t have been more disinterested in our table. I’ve lived in LA more whole life and used to go here often for business lunches. I won’t be going again unfortunately.
Nice place for nice food...
i have eat some pasta with lobster... It was very good
Amazing!! One of the best restaurant in the world!
