Love this place, service and food are amazing.
Fantastic! The food was excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. The champagne on the house was a treat!
The Ivy never disappoints. Nice ambiance, good food and great people watching.
The Ivy is perennially pretty, charming and popular. These three factors cement its viability as an L.A. institution. The food and pours are always generous and tasty. The menu is overpriced, but that’s to be expected from a place that makes you feel like you’re on vacation even if you live in L.A. I’m always impressed by the number of attentive staff. Our particular waiter was in constant up-sell mode and had a robotic way of explaining the menu as though he’d done this 10,000 times before, which he probably has. The crowd feels like a whole bunch of people digging deep into their closets for that one outfit that makes them feel “Beverly Hills.” It’s not a legitimately upscale clientele, which makes for awesome people watching! People are werking it.
Easter Brunch - delicious coffee, amazing scones, and great chocolate chip cookies to take home!
very beautiful restaurant but extremely expensive. not worth it. also i had a reservation at 9:30PM and was not told upfront that the kitchen closes at 10PM, which gave me just 30 min to order. Overall cute, could come for drink won't come back to dinner.
Greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling, great meal, and given little cookie bags with the check. Great experience!
Great place for lunch when visiting LA!
Excelente! Un must en LA
Perfect spot to catch up with friends. Beautiful restaurant....flowers are always incredible! Champagne an elegant plus. Service top notch!!!! Interesting food options. Always busy and crowded but that’s part of the fun! Will be back again and again!
Todo está hermoso y delicioso! 🥰😋
My daughter and I had a lovely lunch at The Ivy on Saturday afternoon. Our reservation was for 1:00. We arrived on time and immediately were offered complimentary glasses of champagne while waiting a few minutes for our table. Very shortly we were escorted outside on the patio where I had requested. It was crowded so we asked if we could be moved inside. We were escorted to a nice table by the fireplace and there we enjoyed our delicious chilled crab salad and shrimp tacos. Surrounded by colorful roses and The Ivy's warm and homey charm we had a memorable time.
Iconic Beverly Hills restaurant did not disappoint. The space is tight but lovely setting. Service is excellent. Food was terrific.
Food was great but took a while to be served and felt like once we were seated by the host the waiting staff seemed to ignore us.
The service was awful! Disappointed.
Wonderful service, delicious food in a beautiful setting.
I generally don’t resound to these surveys but i have been going. to the ivy for well over 15 years this was by far the worst- we were seated quickly by a gracious young man. And then proceeded to wait 20 min for the waiter - onmy when i went to the host to complain did the waiter show up. However when a table of 6 men came in at a table near us that same waiter was over there in about 20 secs. While giving us a complimentary dessert was a lovely gesture i would have preferred the same level of service that a restaurant of this caliber should maintain
Creative and comfortable ambiance. Delicious food. Red Velvet cake was moist and just the right combination of sweet frosting. Hot, hot, hot and large cappuccino - perfect ending.
Food was amazing so good. Loved the atmosphere and staff was so friendly. Excellent place
Mother daughter lunch perfect
My first bad experience at The Ivy! I have had lovely visits in years past. Waiter was pretty rude from the beginning when I was ordering. When I asked for the side of potatoes, he shook his head & suggested fruit would be better for me. Seriously? Also didn’t offer their signature glass of bubbly (everyone around me had one). Mint tea was a great start, but it went downhill fast. Ham on my Eggs Benedict was spoiled. Waiter took it back to the chef, then brought the same plate back & said “it’s probably fine.” I asked for a replacement, which didn’t come. Still charged full price. Got out of their fast!
The Caesar salad was very bitter& my friend had not one, but two hairs on her Caesar salad... They didn't really seem like that was a big deal- gross!
We waited an hour over our reservation time to be seated. After waiting so long with no seating in sight we left this noisy overcrowded restaurant which was accompanied by rude waiters.
This is a feast! Both for the food and also for the vibe!! Love this restaurant, it never disappoints
Great place for a special occasion or just because kind of brunch. Free champagne while you wait for your table, can’t beat that.
Fantastic experience, will definitely come again!
Great and classic location serving the same great and classic fare with wonderful staff.
It's lovely that some things do stay the same.
Arrived at 8.17 for an 8pm reservation and had to wait around half an hour for a table..
Delicious food and good service afterwards.
Yes it was divine as usual. Waiting as usual to have the table ready but ok with a glass of champagne.
My reservation was at 11:00am, I was coming from San Francisco but due to traffic I got late for 15 mins. I kindly called them in prior to let them that I would be late but please hold my table, which was well accepted on the phone, but when we came they gave us a table in the building. It was my mothers birthday and we came for it from 6 hours drive, yet they could not hold the table for 15 mins. I am dissappointed.
The food is delicious the hostess and the servers outstanding service except for our waiter he was someone of very little words, very vague and pretty much all he did was take
Our orders while the servers brought our waters, appetizer and entrees, I ordered the 8oz filet mignon it was amazing had a Smokey taste and cooked to perfection, medium rare
A quintessentially LA restaurant. Always excellent and one of my “go to” places when I have out of town guests.
Always a nice experience. The food and ambiance were perfect for a quiet dinner. We were celebrating a special day and my guest who had never been there, just loved it.
The restaurant is expensive, but the experience and the atmosphere are worth it! The waiters, servers, and hosts were all incredibly attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious, and the small details in the fresh flowers, place settings, and seating made the experience even that much greater!
I made the reservation one week ahead of time , when we got there they put us in the back of the room since we had a baby with us, I refuse and wanted a table in the patio or front room which several was available! After insisting and arguing finally they gave us a table in the front! I order an appetizer for my main dish and at end they charged me 48$ instead of 24$ which it was listed in the menu When I asked the waiter about it he said they have a minimum which we did not see it in the menu nor the waiter mentioned anything about it at the time of ordering and they charged 48$ for an appetizer!
From the minute we walked in the door we felt so welcome. Greeted with a glass of champagne? Yes, please. They really do go above and beyond.
Service was astounding and the food was exceptional. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable. Its akin to being in a nice, cozy home. Really would eat here every day! Thank you.
The place is nice . The service was terrible . The staff seem to be suffering from a severe case of attitude sickness .
The ambience of the place seems to be taken away by the staff....
places like this need to keep the staff either trained not to get ahead of themselves or will eventually be relegated to “ Has Been “
There are much nicer places with friendly staff and none of the attitude sickness . Would recommend via Alloro on Canyon ... in place of the ivy ...
It's a place to see and be seen! Also it is a beautiful patio, gorgeous roses everywhere, champagne on the house when you arrive, decadent food and desserts.... what more do you need! :)
It was my daughter’s 18th Birthday. We made reservations weeks in advance and was sat at the worst table. The food was cold. The Ivy was my daughter’s favorite restaurant. This was the second year she chose to celebrate her birthday at the Ivy.
Since, this experience was so bad we will not be returning to the Ivy.
Always a great meal
Just love the vibe of this place
